Why do kitsune posters even exist?

In unrelated news: Why am I such a fucking piece of shit that can't sit down and write out this character to save my life? Is this a not-too-subtle indication that I should just bow out of trying for this one?

Io, Saturnalia /pfg/!

Mods wont ban them.

And that one guy was complaining last thread about my dragons.

Are you having trouble with any specific parts, or are you just struggling to get something down on paper, so to speak?

Is this the feel of your character concepts being memed about?

To be fair it was a pretty shit one.

Feels great, doesn't it? Don't let /pfg/ down.

The latter, when I find the drive I can't find the time, but when I find the time I can't find the drive. I've spent the entire time that advertisment has been up going, "Oh yeah, that would be a cool thing to apply to! I've got [4] ideas and I just need to... Eh, I need to figure out which I want to do most." And then the cycle just repeats.

The four ideas are:

>Molthuni Smuggler (I can't believe it's not Davos Seaworth!) Probably some sort of Rogue, likely the Smuggler one
>Dick-ass thug and boy he ugly, probably some sort of Slayer
>Dunk the Lunk: Golarion Edition, a Paladin who squired under the *true* hero that earned the parcel of land, yet bequeathed said parcel unto Dunk on his untimely passing. The government hasn't denied this but boy oh BOY are they going to be looking at him under a microscope. He's huge, awkward, always wants to do the right thing but his yokel ways make him seem dumb, and although he's quite a looker he's terrible with conversation. Might make him a Half-Giant Warder (OD/ZS) to reflect he's not *really* a Paladin and more wise than intelligent.
>The Good Doctor, an Alchemist (Chirurgeon) and graduate of the prestigious University of Lepidstadt. A man with a bit of a savior complex, he seeks to set up proper sanitation and medical practices throughout the Empire - if he can't put his boots on the frontlines, he's going to make damn sure every man that can is fit to go.

Oh, I really like it! I will have to finaly decide on her details and get to work on the backstory.

So I'm looking in legendary vigilantes. Are any of them int based? I tried looking and they all seem to be cha.

The joke is you don't even have the most kids out of applicants.

Theres a feat to change your vigilante stuff wholesale to int.

As much as I hate this thread, this is a legitimate question so I feel compelled to answer it. The answer is: Yes, there /are/ Intelligence based vigilantes from Legendary Games. In fact, /ANY/ Vigilante could become Intelligence based. The problem is that the feat/social talent for that is in the SECOND book, Legendary Villains: Vigilantes. Genius Vigilante is what you're looking for, and it's going to eat your 1st level vigilante talent. If you're going like, Exposed, then it's not a bad deal, but for normal vigilantes losing that first talent is kinda lame.

I fucking hate Pathfinder, man. The ridiculous power of casters, the amount of hoops to jump through to be a viable character that's not a caster. Interacting with HP is dumb. The amount of books to look through is dumb. It's a dumb game.

But /pfg/ has all of the dumb posts that make me keep coming back. /pfg/ has the endearing combination of regular Veeky Forums toxicity and stupid cuteposting that gives it a certain defined personality. Meanwhike /5eg/ looks like some kind of normie powered machine.

I guess I'll continue to learn Pathfinder... B-but it's not because I like you or anything! Idiots!

I thought genius vigilante was a feat. And could be taken as a social talent by certain archetypes.

3rd party. Legendary Villains Vigilantes
It's a feat called Genius Vigilante and can be taken instead of the social talent gained at 1st lv.
It does a lot of other things but you can look that up.

Merry Christmas, user.

Play a cute kitsune initiator!

Forgot to tag the person asking

See

Y-You too...?

What's the best race for a qt3.14 awoooooo wolfgirl?

There's more of us than you might think.

Agathion-Blooded Aasimar?

>Agathion-Blooded Aasimar
>Witchwolf Skinwalker

Pick your poison.

I'm retarded and typed Vigilante Talent instead of Social Talent. It can be taken in place of any Vigilante's 1st level Social Talent last I checked.

Don't forget wulfkin from Bloodforge!

They're what happens when a core race bangs a winter wolf like Greta!

Those are mostly my thoughts. This general is really stupid at times but it can be pretty fun in its own retarded way.

Either Witchwolf (werewolf kin from Blood of the Moon) or Agathion Blooded Aasimar (also known as Iyllkin) flavored accordingly.

We have enough beatsticks. We don't have a lot of folks meant to do lots of noncombat stuff, and a doctor's always welcome.

This Staypuft guy is fucking with us, right? I know he is. He has to be. Which one of you is it? Fess up.

Didn't know about that one
I'll add that to my "blood of *blank*" collection.

See For another option.

>Staypuft
literally who?

After that last post I'm inclined to agree, it has to be some sort of troll.

Molthune Knightx campaign, user. Do you not keep up with the current thread memes?

How about instead of Lepistadt, he graduated will full honors from the War Surgeon division at Arsenal? Plus there are specialist clerics and warpriests that get specialized training at Arsenal, so why not Combat Surgeons/healers?

>We have enough beatsticks

True enough, but I'm crazy enough to think I can make shameless melee machines or bowmen with enough spunk and clever roleplay to make them stand out from the standard gruff, snarky swordsman.

>We don't have a lot of folks meant to do lots of noncombat stuff

You mean a character with a lot of non-combat utility, or a character with a backstory that lends to non-combat?

>You mean a character with a lot of non-combat utility, or a character with a backstory that lends to non-combat?

The former

Only in passing, mostly because my internet is trash and I've been helping getting the house ready for Christmas.
Tomorrow everyone will get their presents from me, and I can't wait to see how happy they are when I give them to them.

Why the heck would anyone want to keep up with /pfg/

That narrows it down to the dick-ass Smuggler and the Doctor, really! And it seems like the good doctor is better at being all comfy in a comfy campaign.

>War Surgeon division at Arsenal

Where's Arsenal? I went with Lepistadt because it's been thrown around the threads and canonically known as an exceptional medical academy.

>We have enough beatsticks.
Sad truth, even as I was planning another one.

How do I drop a huge one-round buff on the party Warlord to finish up the fight, /pfg/?

youtube.com/watch?v=0HvQ-IAtT5k

So I am asking, based on his backstory here:
>pastebin.com/aN8kzhuX

What vigilante archetype fits Kurat best now a days? I am concerned Cabalist really does not.

I am really disappointed there is no spy theme'd vigilante archetype either by Paizo or in legendary vigilantes/villans:vigilante.

I am also considering reducing his age so he isn't quite as old. In a long form game like this there is a legitimate change of Kurat aging into venerable and dying at max age. As well I don't think I want to have quite as much aging due to wanting to be more dex based.

A thought here is as well, with his current back story I am thinking he was a bit higher level in his youth, no higher than 5 or 6, but as he has aged he has grown out of practice (particularly during his time as chief diplomat).

Anyway though, any thoughts on archetypes that would fit the old spy well?

It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion, only with more ass, titties and girls with various animal bits.

As well I want to be more focused on utility than pure combat. I may simply go back to cabalist. Alchemical Scoundrel is another idea.

Merry Christmas, /pfg/! I hope everyone of you has a wonderful holiday, and for those that don't I hope things get better.

I only lurk and collect catgirls since it seems to be a trend.

One last thought, in his youth I think Kurat was much more likely to be a traditional vigilante. However now that he is old being an exposed vigilante is not out of the question. He has not taken on a vigilante identity in most than a decade.

It's Christmas!

Can I open you first?

Shucks, you too, user.

>Where's Arsenal?
Arsenal is short for the Arsenal District of Canorate in Molthune, and is where all the elite military academies, spec op training, and Chaplain/Warpriest/Combat Healers are trained and prepared before getting sent to the front lines.

Is basically the section of Canorate that containsthe analogues of Westpoint, Langley, and those other important places.

>CN Gorum ONLY WAR character in comfy knights
>full of spelling errors, looks like it's written by a 12 year old Jesus, he can't even spell Molthuni consistently
>backstory has him meeting Gorum in person and impressing him
>uses Guts for his character art

I'd hope you have a wonderful holiday too, but I don't have any hope left to share.

I should really stop listening to the Old Gods.

Why do people hate cute posting?
This was nice, and I wish you happy holidays as well anom

I sadly am not on my computer, so I can't post the "Absolutely Corrupting" hellknight meme to express my disgust.

So instead I shall post this meme

Sounds like I've got some cramming to do tomorrow night before I write this doctor! I need to read everything there is to know about Molthune and their cities before working out the character sheet!

Will probably go Human too because I don't have any goddamn character art of non-mage non-martial non-humans, and even my humans are bare!

So what are the best hedgewitch traditions/archetypes? What makes a really good combination? Is spiritualist the best?

About to start playing in a Strange Aeons game and want a Mutation Warrior as part of the weird Mythos vibe and want smashy smashy. No 3p. Core,APG,ACG(of course)UC,UM are allowed along with Occult Adventures. 20 mPt buy, two traits one from the SA player guide Any tips for getting the most bang for my buck?

Read the stat line user

DO IT

>Sounds like I've got some cramming to do tomorrow night before I write this doctor! I need to read everything there is to know about Molthune and their cities before working out the character sheet!
Honestly, this is something everyone needs to do before applying to this game.

Everyone needs to sit down and read the ISWG pages for both Molthune and Nirmathas, and maybe the neighboring nations too as well

Font of inspiration, combat and charlatanism are my favorites, though the herbology one could be good too.

Are there any vigilante archetypes that focus more on the social side than vigilante side?

>elf
>bloodmarked skinwalker
>tomboy
>muscle girl
>christmas cake
Is there anything more perfect? How could one girl be so best?

Tan with light hair.

>every ability is odd

>bloodmarked
>not having white hair
>bloodmarked
>not tanning within 30 seconds of being in sunlight
Is this even a question?

So playing 3.5 my gm might allow some pathfidner stuff and has allowes ome homebrew before...

I want to play a Stand user from Jojo.

What's the best way to do this?

I kind of want the stand has to be on top of me or like a 10 foot range i suppose i could self impose the rule

Avante Guarde archetype for the Kineticist, by Drramscarred Press.
Heck, the sample art even has someone doing the Jotaro Point

What book is this in?

Occult Augmented: Kineticists
It's the one with the stand user of the cover
Warning though, a lot of it is based off the rules from their other book Ultimate Psionics, so you may need that.

They should both be in the /pfg/ trove

Psionics Augmented - Kineticists
The Jotaro inspiration is fuck overt. The guy is even on the damn cover
it's awesome

Is there any use at all in the Heal skill, especially if your party already has divine/magic healing of some sort?

So the Heal skill also covers all medical knowledge. Knowing about diseases, anatomy, etc. is the heal skill. Identifying how someone died is based on the heal skill. Knowledge of medicine is heal.

It's basically a knowledge skill.

Good evening sexy boys.

I'm planning a Master of Many Styles (Snapping Turtle/Kraken Style)grappler monk, i'm wanting to make it Vanara because I like the idea of leaping on people's throats with my feet and strangling them.

Any tips or suggestions on how I might build this?

Do people generally allow Unchained Monk to use old monk archetypes?

>friend invites me to play in a game of kingmaker
>base my character on Char Aznable
>when we reveal our characters and meet discover one guy in the group based his on Reinhard von Lohengramm
>both our faces when

We kinda just introduced the party to eachother and shuffled awkwardly around, since most of the first session was minor character editing as the dm examined our sheets, I'll post again if this turns into the crazy trainwreck I suspect it will

Unchained can't use old monk archetypes. You'd have to convince your dm. Also MoMS sucks.

I want to combine it with a 2 level White Haired Witch dip, for extra grappling shenanigans.

drunken master is pretty simple to convert desu

Simple or not you'd have to convince the dm.

Why does it suck?

I plan on exploiting Throat Slicer on pinned targets, so damage isn't a worry here, I want to simply focus on exploiting the fuck out of grapples.

Can someone help me. I can't find any hobgoblins in military uniforms. I can find plenty in armor, but not more modern uniforms.

How does one justify having a Big Cat as an animal companion in when you live in sandpoint? If I'm a long-lived race, is it really cheesy to say that I went caravanning and picked one up as a cub somehow?

You still have to meet the pre-reqs for the second and third level style feats.

Well yeah, all those photos were burned in the holocaust.

Just buy one in Magnimar.

How is this a problem?

Fair enough.

Dude this is a high fantasy, people have these things as pets, people just forget to include it in city environments.

Because style feat chains are expensive as hell pre-req wise. For a grappler it'd be easier just to go Sohei I think it is.

Please do, user. Please do.

In hindsight I realized I answered my own question before I even finished the post, especially since I intend to make someone who trains animals for a living. Him getting up one day and deciding "I want to train a fucking tiger" is far from the weirdest thing I could do.

"and when it's old enough..."

>rolling for old spy's children
>4 boys 10 girls
I mean I guess it doesn't really matter. Kurat believes in old hobgoblin traditions so he encourages military service and training no matter the sex of his child. His eldest is a boy though.

He wasn't married to all these women at the time, but he has planned on essentially making all of his bastards legitimized. He planned on doing this from the beginning as it is a hobgoblin cultural thing. He raised them all no differently from each other, at least not based on mother. Though his second wife likely is not very happy about this.

You can't fuck it.

Catfolk are NOT the same as cats.

Lol I didnt even look at your spoiler until I had already posted.

Hivemind.
