Character spent over a decade as a spy and agitator there. What the actual meaning is that during his time as an ambassador to Andoran he discovered corruption in Molthune to sell secrets to the Steel Falcons who in turn sold secrets to Nirmathas and Greenglade in particular. He plans on rooting out the at home corruption.

I will begin to write and see what comes naturally. I am not a big fan of MILFs but a refined lady type has its merits. Spry girl who's really over 300 would be such a fun contrast, though. Maybe I will try to mix it somehow? Also, I would like to avoid being TOO old because then I would have to explain why she's still only level 3. Some of that could be years spent comfortably as knight's wife but there's only so much you can excuse that way.

Who knows! First idea was none with the Molthune knight but maybe there was a pair of siblings? Oldest son could die in a skirmish while the younger daughter went off to search for her own fortune. Or something.

What spheres would an investigator need for combat stuff? I think shift time from the time sphere would be nice potentially but I'm unsure if I'd need more than one swift per turn ever. Are there any that help facilitate studied combat/strike?

What do you mean by full cheese? All I can think of is energy blade, improved energy blade and focused sphere group with shift time to study and blast on a full round.

I do too. I wish more races had cool FcBs in general, though. So many classes without fcbs, so little attention given to them.

Actually, you know what, why aren't there universal class-specific FCBs? Everyone can pick from HP or a skill point, but why can't ANY race who picks up Rogue grab the +1/6th Rogue talent, or ANY investigator pick up the +1/4th to inspiration rolls results, or ANY magus pick up a bunch of cool new special weapon qualities? It would make life so much easier for designers and players if they didn't have to hope and pray their race would get added and be blessed with a good class-specific racial FCB.

We do actually have precedent for that now.

On the race side of it at least, since Kitsune can take part of a magical tail feat as their FCB regardless of class.

Is there reason to play Wizard over Arcanist?

Earlier spell levels, broken archetype combos, only needing 1 minute to prepare individual spell slots via a wizard feat, more spells/day.

Arcanist is better if you want to be lazy with your spells and don't mind the delayed progression. Wizard is for when you want to maximize everything.

I don't even really see it as turboautism. Heck, having a detailed family is important to a character, especially one with noble ambitions.

Sit him down and tell him that killing off your character's relative and not giving you anything to do about it is in incredibly poor taste, and that you'd really like it to be retconned. If he accepts, good. If he refuses, you've now got two choices. Either leave, which is what I recommend, or turn the campaign into "Resurrect my wife and make a turbo-gay nation."

Hobgoblins I can probably handle? However I'm having a tough time with Tess. Does anyone know any good elven/bat like art for her? Searching "elven vampire" (since she is a werebat) gives me a lot of fetish stuff I don't want.

Also I realized, as she is essentially a half-elf likely Kurat's mother and father would not have approved in the slightest. Kurat is more of a progressive when it comes to elves, so he personally doesn't mind and didn't raise his kids to. Also as a half-elf she is longer lives than the rest of them, likely just a bit less than a normal half-elf. So at 26 she is around the equivalent of 20 or so in human terms.

No particular issues with causing pain or things that could be called torture to test subjects, so long as they consented in writing to be part of her experiments--which include generous pay (to next of kin if the subject themselves does not survive), room and board generally speaking. Will NOT partake in kidnapping, experiments, or torture at the behest of another--she is a scientist and an artist, not a thug for hire. She can be commissioned for specific research or experiments, but the subjects will always consent to such.

Aside from scientific ambitions, she has great artistic vision, though her canvas is the body more than word or drawing; a combination of jewelry, dress, body-paint and tattoos and magical transformations being the method in which she expresses herself. These talents are also for sale, but again, only for consenting customers--and those customers can trust that their information will not be sold or abused for further profit.

I'm trying to decide if this is coming out more LN or LE; I'm looking to pick up fleshcrafting, but if the character as described is more LN then I'm not sure what to do about that.

Could easily go either way, to be honest. How does she act OUTSIDE her business interests?

I am new to rpg and pathfinder. I have a fighter that has reach/cleave and also relies on aops. but it feels like our npcs know gameplay rules better than us and they avoid aops (5 steps) or cleave (scatter around) as much as possible. I am third level and I only cleaved once and never did more than 1 aop per round (with combat reflexes)

Is this normal or our GM just sucks. I feel like I wasted all my feats other than power attack/furious focus. (I am also human btw, that is like 5-6 feats on level 3)
