80% sure, i've had some private conversations with one of the devs/main marketers and they hinted strongly that the release will be a bigger deal than most people think, take it with a grain of salt but i'm super bullish on this coin

Why are the devs choosing to stay user

the team started a new marketing campaign, i guess more people became aware of it, i think as volume falls it could return to the 500-700 range
testnet coming at the end of the month could induce another pump

the lead dev is Zoltan Szabo, his linked-in was leaked a while back showing he's obviously an accomplished programmer, at first it was just a preference to be user, but some people who bought too high and got pissed when they lost money started harassing him, since then i think he just wants to stay out of the limelight and code in peace, he's a bit autistic

as for the other team members, none of them want to be the first one to reveal their identify publicly since it could pressure the others to follow, i think a lot of them aren't particularly bothered about whether or not they're user

That first peak was bought up on 'news', which came in the form of one of the shittest websites you could imagine, their lead dev the borz is a drupal specialist, CCR held most of the bags and constantly rages begging for faith and making promises of riches while likely offloading, the whitepaper never came hence the long dip, when it did it was a pdf version of the website hence the continued dip.

How it even came about makes no sense and every 'development' to date has been a cash grab. It's being bought up now along with everything else, ride the pump and hodl some if you want. I could be wrong, they used to call IOTA a scam
