Funds missing

Last night I tried to transfer funds from Coinbase to Binance. I want to use my Binance account so I tried to send some Bitcoin. It was pending on my coinbase and finally said it was completed after an hour. It never appeared in my binance account. In fact when you click on the Binance wallet address and copy it to paste in Coinbase it paste it as a different series of numbers and letters. On Binance it shows one series of letters and numbers and when copies to paste on coinbase it paste as a totally different series of numbers and letter from what I copied. Anyway, the cash never arrived 24 hours later. Is this a common issue? Is this normal? Will it show up later?

Please help...

Check Funds > History

It should be there waiting confirmation, if not, open a ticket.

Just checked. It still says no history.

This transaction is really turning me off from wanting to continue with this. I have invested a lot of time amd cash and I kept telling myself that the first mess up that seems strange will most likely turn me off.

Bump

Post the transaction id

You're saying that if you copy the address on Binance and you paste it here it changes?
Malware?
How much did you lose?

This is why you send a small amount to make sure it goes through no matter what.

>On Binance it shows one series of letters and numbers and when copies to paste on coinbase it paste as a totally different series of numbers and letter from what I copied
And you never questioned why and proceeded to send your money anyway? How high is your IQ?

You got hacked
throw out all your devices quick

Rip anons wallet sorry friend...

Post in on your Facebook faggot. NORMIES LEAVE

srsly, with these shitty fees? not viable

It's free to send from Coinbase to GDAX to any address.

Or you can risk losing everything, that works. But as like the above said, he copy pasted a different series of letters and numbers and still wanted to send it.

better than losing 1000-10000 at a time

rather bite the 50 cents with eth. or 5 dollars with bitcoin lol

Your PC is infected with a clipboard hijacker. You sent your money to a hacker's address.
Your money's lost. Nothing you can do.

Oh don't worry people lose thousands all the time without even trying. I almost lost $5000 two nights ago by sending LTC to a BTC address, yeah I am a dumbass, that shit took like 5 hours to recover but there was a way apparently.

If you sent BTC to the wrong address that you don't have the private key to, that will be hard to recover

Of course the address has to be the same after pasting it you dumb fuck. Someone just received a gift from you.

This is possible on Binance? To receive back some coin that you send to a wrong wallet designed for another coin?

Never happened with me but its goods to know what to do.. besides crying on a support ticket...

I basically lost 100 bucks. I am pretty bummed out. I am usually very cautious. It happened lastnight before I wemt to bed. I was trying to convert to buy some xrp. Technically I only lost a 40 dollar investment that turned into 100 bucks when Bit went from 10 grand up to 17 grand. I thought maybe the address changing was a way to keep one wallet private from another wallet and figured it was some type of conversion. When i post the address of the wallet number that it changed to after it was pasted it says that wallet has recieved like 8 bit. Ive been pumping all my cash for a while now into lite and xrp. I wanted more xrp so i figured I would set up a Binance account to convert the peanuts I had lingering in my coinbase bit. So I guess I lost it, right? P.s. O am far from a normie lol. This may have been a rookie mistake but you live and learn. That is why I only sent a small amount, 100 bucks. Yes, some one did recieve a gift from me. However, I am sure the Crypto Gods will bless me in other ways. Do yall think this was really malware? How would you all deal with this issue?

Did you at least opened a ticket?

Its very unlikely but maybe they are just moving wallets and you are caught on the middle.

My fellow Crypto Creeps you are correct. It must be a hack. Because when I copy and paste the address using my phone it paste the series if numbers and letters exact. However, when using my pc it switches the address on me. How would you approach this mess? It is only 100 bucks that I lost but I want to prevent further damages. Is it possible to get the funds back?

Lmao. Ask your friends on fb bro.
I see "bullish" returns in your future xDthis was just a "consolidation"

Legit post is legit

>How would you all deal with this issue?
stop watching porn and chasing sites that gift crypto

Already told you it's impossible to get your money back. You sent the hacker the money, he's now in full control of it, not Coinbase. There's absolutely nothing you can do.

>How would you approach this mess?
Reinstall your Windows then pirate some antivirus so you don't get infected again.

Im trying to submit a ticket. 100 bucks is 100 bucks. I need the lootski. I just cant believe I got scammed that easily. I have never encountered a copy and paste hack. Wicked stupid. I just hope the mal is easy to remove. Funny thing is I am usually very good with keeping mal off my comps. I never use this particular computer for anything else outside of crypto and etrade related material. I use my phone for everything else so I have no clue how a virus would pop up on this comp. That means the virus came from either binance, bitstamp, gatehub, coinbase, kraken or from one of the key generators. Makes no sense. I dont use my comp for anything else. Something isnt adding up here.

Then format your drive again and install Xubuntu.

your coins are gone. buy more

I wouldnt post anything in regards to my coin on fb. Cheesy insult suggest low energy functioning. IQ has nothing to do with a minor transaction error. This was a rookie mistake I guess. If I was stupid enough to post on fb I obviously would not be here. Your logic is flawed. A thief coming along and somehow hijacking my shit and me missing it because I was dead tired and trading at 1 am doesnt correlate with low intelligence. Your response on the other hand suggesting that my IQ is low because I am asking a supposed forum of intellects a biz question and getting shit responses degrading me just shows where your IQ is at. Troll is bored and probably doesnt own any coin at all. Prob just shit post and trolls all day. I hate servant trolls they are the worst. They study things inside and out just to be able to post shit and get a thrill out of a 5 second thought. I look at Crypto as a way to moralize the token economy and step outside the grip of the fed. I enjoy trading and taking a gamble but its a shame that this shit happens and its also a shame that my fellow crypto creeps are trolling a legit question tbat could prob prevent others from making the same mistake.
