I'm about to convert my Valkyrie into a Vendetta, but I'm worried that the Vendetta will no longer be a unit soon. Do you know if they are being phased out?

first for vespids

>550999.M41 The Crusader Thwarted

>High Marshal Helbrecht of the Black Templars, in pursuit of the Ork Warlord Ghazghkull Thraka, leads a fleet forged from fifteen Space Marine Chapters against a splinter tendril of Hive Fleet Leviathan which is barring his path. Despite employing every strategy and ploy at his disposal, Helbrecht’s fleet is continually forced to fall back before the Tyranid advance. His mounting ire matches the rising numbers of the Space Marines lost to the Leviathan.

So the Templar were stuck fighting Tyranids. How the hell did they magically teleport to Cadia?

PLOTHOLE!

>forcing your own memes
>waiting for a new thread to force your own memes

>will no longer be a unit soon
The rules might be handed over to Forgeworld, but it's extremely unlikely they'll get rid of it entirely given how many Vendettas are out there in the wild and how it helps them sell additional Valkyrie kits.

I imagine they magically teleported

> Caring about what some stranger on the internet posts in a general for a niche hobby at 4 in the morning the day after Christmas on a Brazilian ice cream appreciation board

Being you must be so sad

Shadow in the Warp prevents magic doe and warp flight.

Yea you're right. Maybe they just outran the shadow first

It ain't sad. It's annoying. It's tainting a board culture where we all post. It's like someone relieving themselves in a cafeteria. It ruins the atmosphere for everything and makes you think twice before eating(posting) there.

I don't want to live in a world of forced memes and neither should you.

> Stop having fun I don't like it: the post

Get fucked, m8

it's 9pm and I just got home with drinks with the boys while watching the cricket, I've had a great day honestly. The problem definitely lies with this guy who thinks poorly painted models are the height of humour and everyone needs to see it.

Your fun shouldn't come before the board and your fellow anons, you selfish bastard.

>It's 9pm and I'm going to make up some stuff that I didn't do tonight so a bunch of strangers I will never meet will think I have an active social life and am a happy person

literally no one cares

I'm gonna be doing some conversions tomorrow lads wish me luck, gonna have a go making a deldar raider proper orky

first for 3d printing aint gonna do shit to hurt my hobby

literally no one cares about your dumb forced meme and your dumb "you have no life lol" kneejerk though

You sure are getting pretty worked up for someone who "doesn't care" lol

why there an eldar in that pic?

It's a mystery

one night in bangkok

AdMech made a pact with them. Looks like they are marching through the Webway to fuck Abaddon's shit up at Cadia.

Interesting

It isn't an Eldar. It's a deathcult assassin.

Why should I ever deploy stormtroopers from a valkyrie...? It didn't really dawn on me until I did it, but the only thing grav chuting does is limit where I can deep strike and make it so if I misshap I auto die? Why should I ever use this when stormtroopers already have deep strike?

So much for being airborme infantry who specialize in aircav assaults.

Will 2017 be the year that finally brings us the female space marine?

Are you listening GW? This is what the fans want.
You don't want to be on the wrong side of history, do you?

You don't have to deploy from the grav chute.

>this is what the fans want
no this is what the INFLATION FETISHISTS want

Whenever I see this picture, I think of some Guardsman foot fag asking to see her sweaty feet. The way she's looking back, it's just so full of disgust and disappointment. Not to mention the Black Templar to the left who's helmet and the way he's holding the bolt pistol makes him look like he's saying "Really?" Guy on the right is baffled, "What?" never having heard of foot faggotry before.

What's that? You wanted to airdrop like Elysians? Haha, foolish pigdog Militarum, air dominance for masterrace Elysia only!

>Curze is a Demon Primarch

I would only support female space marines if they are co-ed and can be mixed into my male marine army without looking out of place.

Nah. The bald Templar is just holding a selfie stick.

Stormies have move through cover, they cant mishap when using the Grav Chute rule since they never have to make the dangerous terrain check.

female space marine doest make sense

>Fall of Cadia
>Curze is true Prophet of the 8th
Curze rules when?
Do you feel the power of this revelation crushing down around you?

Generally I see Vets in Valkyries. Stormtroopers just deep strike on their own.

Maybe so you can deepstrike other shit that can't?

Honestly no idea what is the point. So you can tacticool insert a squad of psyker.

>Wittness their doom!
>Bunch of psykers are push of the back of Valkyrie
>If they live? Yay support!
>If they die? Yay dead psykers!

If I take a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch in a Thousands Sons detachment, am I allowed to roll on the Change psychic table since he's a Daemon of Tzeentch as opposed to Mark of Tzeentch or am I stuck to the vastly inferior Tzeentch table??

Decimus is the Prophet.

so you can tactically insert special weapon squads with three demo charges

> Female space marines

Already happened

Top left and far left on the second to the last row

I thought it was funny

>sisters fluff gets expanded and there're now elite groups of sisters that thanks to the massive funds of the inquisition and ecclesiarchy get biomechanical implants and better equipment, practically space marines in all but name and production methods

Ok now I need to do this. What is the cheapest way to ally that without going unbound?

>their vaginas are replaced with metal slabs as chastity belt implants

>Not mini chain blades

Shit taste son.

yeah the old 40k is not even canon you libtard.

what do you think of my NL list?
What should I spent my last 70 points on?

I haven't played since early 5th ed; what the fuck are "Militarium Tempestus" supposed to be? Inquisition stuff or just a part of the Imperial Guard but for some reason GW gave them their own books?

>the chastity belt is actually a strong power field generator

you can see the friction lightnings coming from the barracks at night

GW shall feel mine wrath should they ever stoop so low

Literal autism

Special Forces

Inquisitorial Storm Troopers and Guard Storm Troopers are the scion now. The old stuff is gone because reasons and Kirby.

The new CEO is Sebastian Thor. Trying to fix the fuck ups of Vandir

it's useful if you have allies that start mounted in the valkyrie like an inquisition deathstar or some bullshit like that

imperial guard space paratroopers

GW sold a different book because they need more money.

What would be an Inquisition Death Star now? Assuming we are ignoring the faction mental retardation of IA.

Yeah, of course. I just dont see why they'd press the fluff for valkyries as stormtrooper transports when you're only shooting yourself in the foot by using it. Like, I absolutely see the purpose of grav chuting for non stormies, but these I really did.
They sure can if you scatter into impassable terrain or enemy models, which I sure did when my gits paradropped into the cupola of a battle wagon filled with da ladz.
Now I see why.
It makes sense, its deep strike for those who don't have it. Theres just zero benefit for these dudes so I'm not sure why it's written into the fluff so much. Holdover from old rules?

where there a dark eldar incubus* in that pic?

They gave Stromtroopers a book to let you field them on their own as an army. Their models are all still in the IG (Astra Militarum) book too for fielding as part of an IG army though.

Allies? In MY valkyrie?

25MM BASES ARE CUTE! ALL YOU 32MM NEWFAGS ARE JUST SIZE QUEENS!

That's retarded. Please don't tell me they neutered Guard in the process of removing Storm Troopers. I remember them being one of the stronger armies in 5th.

Well, as stupid as that is (giving one unit a book instead of, say, Catachans/Vostroyan/Valhallans/Steel Legion), at least you can still use them with the Guard.

You can still take them in the main IG book as well. They weren't removed.

But IG were still neutered in other ways and aren't good anymore. And yes, "why make the book if they're still in IG" etc etc.

I'm surprised they haven't made a regiment supplement for IG yet. They have done this for other armies. Iron Hands got their own book. Space Wolves Great Company got one. Imperial Fists 3rd Company got one. Black Legion got one. Khorne got an entire faction with Khorne Daemonkin, not just a mini-codex supplement.

guard is great, but they aren't "daddy's favourite army" like eldar, tau, or space memes or anything

At the time those minis were printed (as "adventurers," mind you, to be used in the variety of non-marine roles that utilized power armor like Rogue Traders, Inquisitors, Army Generals, and Sisters of Battle), marines were already canonized as male-only.

They might do something like what they did with Traitor Legions or Angels of Death. Give them each some "Regimental Tactics" and a Decurion.

How am I supposed to give orders to stormtroopers with the command squad anyways? 12 inches doesn't really cut it when you're deep striking willy-nilly everywhere. What used to be the purpose of vox casters?

better watch out, he may post that dragon magazine scenario to "prove" you wrong

You don't. The Tempestor Prime has Voice of Command to give his own order once per turn.

Do you take me for some kind of casual? I already have the rebuttal saved.

>Sunstroke is written by a third party company unrelated to Games Workshop, published in a magazine known for making up campaign ideas for other RPGs. That isn't official material, m80.

It doesn't matter anyway, if someone really wanted to get all butthurt about no strong independent womyn who don't need no man army they could just play Sisters of Battle or play IG and get a sprue of female heads from one of the many companies that make custom 28mm bits.

>"why make the book if they're still in IG" etc etc
to let people ally them in without going unbound or being forced into a tax unit of troops

Not handled super well, though. Orders aside, the IG version is superior since they have access to chimeras and come in platoons for reserve rolls.

vox caster lets you re-roll a failed Ld test for orders provided the officer's unit and the unit he's ordering both have one.

This is the saddest thing I have read all day

Possibly the only good thing to come out of Imperial Agents is the marrying of 1E, 3E (Witchhunters), and 7E Sisters of Battle fluff. Nuns with guns confirmed space marine hunters once again.

>strong independent womyn
>lapdogs of the male Ecclesiarchy
>brides of the Emperor

All Imperial forces have always been hunters of renegade marines. Do you think any loyal force would go "Oh no we can't fight other marines, we have to wait for so and so" when they find a renegade or traitor marine force?

Come find me when SoB are the new Minotaurs.

If you deal with the same argument week after week, you start to store the answers for more convenient counter-arguments.

It helps that I've been misled more than a few times by "commonly accepted but not proven" Veeky Forums ideas regarding fluff, so I like to have concrete proof of things these days.

Insulting people doesn't change the facts.

Wrong time period honey.

Sisters of Battle are pretty much independent from the church and Inqusition (unless asked)

Think of them as a swis guard from the Vatican. But totally independent of the church.

Sure they are funded by them. But it would be badly seen by the rest of the church and imperium if someone try to cut the funds.

You actually have a folder that is literally filled with images you are waiting to use on Veeky Forums.

Rethink your life.

>how dare you be more autistic than me

Oh, you're the shitposer I proved wrong. Then yes, user. I have that folder saved specifically for people like you.

Can you cucks stop playing "who is prettier" and weigh in on my list instead?

It's not about "if it happened." It's about the Sisters actively assuming their role as a policing force to monitor the Ecclesiarchy (which hasn't been mentioned since 3E, despite that being their very origins) instead of just its enforcers, as well as being specifically stated as marine hunters (which hasn't been mentioned since what, 1E?). It's the statement, not the concept.

I believe there's at least one more depiction of the emperor's final assault against horus, but I've never really been able to find a scan of the old pre-epic epic books online, and never been bored enough to track down all the WD articles of the same time period.

buy your raptors some second special weapons. I'd also swap at least one to a double flamer loadout for emergency anti-infantry duty.

Also, get those bikers some plasma guns.

Listen, if you have a folder filled with images you specifically save for internet arguments with strangers on Veeky Forums, complete with challenges for their potential counter arguments... than you are operating on a level of autism I didn't even know existed.

I mean I can't even fathom what it must be like.

I yield to you sir. There is nothing else I can do. While you may have won this particular internet argument I do take some slight comfort in knowing that you are the reason that even 40K fans can't stand /40kg/

>still replying to me.
lel

As the Emperor decreed
"No girls allowed, because they are icky"

r8 my anti-BT list

> Being so desperate to get the last word

That YouTube thing. Is like friends to me. I have no idea why people find it good or funny.

If you've got a name, feel free to drop it. I'm pretty sure you're talking about one of the two non-Compendium (which is the WD one) recounts I have. Both of those books (or same book? It's a two-parter, right?) never got full scans, and I was lucky enough to pick up those captures from here. The terminator one I captured myself from pic related.

That comes part and parcel with Ordo HERETICUS's job description. You're not going to be associated with that ordo and NOT police potentially heretical marines.

How the fuck is the Imoerium losing in space against the needs? Do nids have the Tau field of mental retardation that affects anyone fighting them?

It rides the line between autism and genuine humor
That and Kaldo Draigo

Didn't GW remove the militant orders of the Inqusition because fuck it, funny?
