Ok, so the more I think about the Time Turner item from gen IV the more confused I get.

If "Backwards" would mean you can only take a extra princess from Gen IV (which it's special "Alonsy" makes it sound like), it's literally just a waste of two spaces and forcing you to not take a princess/dowry/companion from an earlier Gen.

Or, we interpret Backwards as giving you the ability to save a princess from any generation as long as you have space in some other, in which case: should we presume Alonsy only removes the need for the empty seat entirely, or that it changes so the empty seat can be in this generation (IV)?
