blood bowl newbie here. started with a chaos team recently.
I read that Pile On is essentially out of the game, but someone also said that the rules for Claw changed.
I cannot find a reference to the latter. Can someone explain it to me what changed, and how it is played now?

Pile On is in something of a gray area, because it's listed as an optional rule. Whether it's "out of the game" or not is up to you, your opponents, and most importantly, your League organizer.

Claws remains the same. Originally, the ruling was "When an opponent is knocked down by a player with Claws during a block, any Armor roll of 8 or more after modifiers automatically penetrates the opponent's armor."
In the printing of the new Death Zone book, this was changed to "-before modifiers-", but a later Errata changed it to "-after modifiers-", as it was originally.

60k is only as much as orcs and chaos. And the 2 other rat teams have 70k rerolls.

The point of weeping blades is that Games Workshop is retarded and thinks the models should dictate the mechanics.

But how can you place Skaven next to orcs or chaos? This is a faction that is going to rely on rerolls or totally fail an action.

Gutter Runners would actually have a chance of killing a black orc or chaos warrior in warhammer whereas they don't in Bloodbowl and it isn't their purpose. So it adds no flavour whatsoever.

Every team rely on rolls. That is the point of the game. Also stop sperging out before you become a running joke.

Any team with high AV doesn't rely on re-rolls. Seems like the only joke is you, better start running.

But for real dude, the Box Sets for some teams are better than others. Skaven have plenty of rerolls and Orcs have the best list of the sets. Granted that doesn't mean too much, but playing against Orcs is really hard for newer coaches and there is no shame in it. Watch games, read stuff, and just roll 6s.
