Gangs of Commoragh Board Game

I'm not exactly going to get too excited for this. It's likely going to be a relatively cheap boxed game that takes some old models that aren't selling particularly well and making a game based around them.

Sorta like the recent lost patrol rerelease or gorechosen. Cardboard scenery though is nice to hear about though,and I wouldn't be surprised if they're using this release as a way of guaging people's reactions and getting feedback on it in preparation for a new necromunda

Well the Deldar do canonically have both alien mercenaries (and orks do occasionally work as mercs) and captured alien fighters in commorragh, so that's not out of the question as an actual thing to happen

Necromunda's problem was that most of its miniature range was shit.
If they re-do a skirmish game like necromunda it needs to encourage conversion and kitbashing already existing products, rather than rely on a range that's only good for adding variety to your 40k force.

I hope the set comes with guys on the green goblin bike-things.

Holy shit there is so much half assed photobashing in that cover art. The artist literally just took pictures of unpainted helion/reaver hulls, colorized it in levels and threw some textures on top

AoS art is hard to look at with how bright it is. It's hard to tell what is happening.

Nah, AoS art is just boring to look at because most of the art is sloppy.

On the 40k FB page, most people were talking about wanting a new Necromunda.

Imo, GW should try to cash in on Inquisimunda. Just make a simple, generic skirmish game for 1-6 models per warband, all races and factions included. Toss in a bit of Inquisitor, a bit of Necromunda, maybe a dab of Rogue Trader. Make a few official models for it but then push the idea that players should try to convert models and stuff. That'd be amazing.

From that I pic I think the campaign system is closer to Necromunda but the game itself could be just GorkaMorka: Dark Eldar edition.

I'm going to wait for Necromunda or Gorkamorka, maybe Inqiusimunda. Themes are better and if they fuck up the rules I could use them in my nostalgia games.

I mean, as for Necromunda, you could kitbash most gangs pretty easily except Escher and Delaque, and they have plenty of third-party support. Inq28 is conversion central and Gorkamorka is simple enough, but I'd love to see some good new Necromunda stuff.

Also, protip, check out the Necromunda Community Edition if you need your hive gang battle fix. It's pretty good.
