I just wonder how long that will take. Honestly pretty sad to not have it in this run, could have done without that much Inverted Mountain stuff.

lets talk sleeves again.
has anyone actually made a comparison to swan/mayday/mage sleeves yet?
as in actually stuck in some KD cards in all 3 and kind of roughhouse the sleeves themselves.
Nicholas Gonzalez
I fully endorse this
Michael Edwards
I don't thing there's actually much price or quality difference between them all. For the mage ones you have this review vibrantlantern.com/extra/organize/
I am more concerned with whether or not the fully sleeved up cards will fit into the box tray, as sleeves multiply the space needed.

Seeing as everything will be retail later I'll just wait to receive the successive waves and order the necessary sleeves for each one. Better than keep thousands of sleeves unused for years in my opinion.
Christopher Cook
I use maydays and swans and I've had zero problems. Play my game mostly with dudebros who drink lots so my cards get handled like a hooker in a biker bar.
Sleeved all the gear from Core, Dragon, DBK, Spider, Gorm, FK, Manhunter with 3 or so packs of swans.
Jeremiah Carter
so like, the game sounds interesting, but how the fuck do you cucks justify spending literally thousands of dollars on it - no, on an EXPANSION pack
Easton Richardson
Mayday and swans also fit in the Core box just fine.
Anthony Allen
Fuck off.

"standard cards" : Swan Premium Standard USA, 57x90mm, nice and snug fit. gear cards : Swan Standard, 52x52mm (these are slightly larger I feel, as they fit perfectly)
Exactly, I have enough sleeves for all the gear / resource cards Adam could throw at us, and my entire core is already sleeved with enough left over from my order to do a couple of expansions as well.

Hmm, and M:tG sleeve is like 65*90, so it would be bit loose but principally work. Yeah, that's what I imagined, thanks for confirmation.

I've bought about three zombicide games worth of pic related.
They're literally "O K"
One problem I have is poofyness if they're untouched, or having cards lock together if you crash them down. If it's the former, shit slides like MAD (but zombicide requires humongous stacks of cards).
Never played KD M, nor am I aware of the card sizes (equipment looks like square tiles) but I'd say that if you want to trust mayday, they atleast won't be total shit.
Isaac Evans
just that mage has a kickstarter at the moment and the undead pledge gives you all the sleeves for satan. and i dont have the core game yet.
Carter Rivera
>Fighting first kingsman last night > Defeat him with no deaths and only one severe injury >Get back to camp and preform a reenactment of the hunt >The guy playing the hunter is killed >We drew skull eater last turn so our oldest survivor, who is 1 showdown from axe mastery, has a twilight sword, and has a regal helm, is killed >The rest of the settlement kills the murderer >We now have 8 endeavors to spend on augury >Everyone to the shag tent >Birth one kid, one set of twins, and THREE saviours
That was one wild party, Since we only have one surviving founder now, we assume the rest of the survivors will herald the saviours as the dead founders reborn.
Robert Jackson
I'm torn between doing nice varied skintones (because that's fun) and trying to stay in the theme : no sun, no light, everybody should be Irish white.
More like Albino Nation.

Considering pretty much every KD game ends almost explicitly with the settlement being destroyed and everyone dying, no, you will never have that family, and even if you did they would be raped and murdered in front of you
Jack Clark
undead pledge level? what do you think i need in ratios, or do they do that for me if i tell em "hail satan"?
Ryan Reed
user, I think you will reconsider the idea of magnetising once you receive the minis. I mean, I don't have any of the armour ones, so I'm not 100% sure, but so far these are by FAR the hardest fucking builds I've ever seen.
Some of those bits are so thin the resin lets the light through. I am actually puzzled as to assemble quite a few of the models I got. I don't even want to imagine what it would take to magnetize those...
Ethan Lee
Even at GW prices the only thing parked at a thousand or above is an entire damned army package, not an expac

You could still have racial variety, so darker tones would be fine, they'd just need to be the "sunless" version of said darker tone, so I imagine that an dark skinned survivor would be more like chocolate milk coloured than dark chocolate in colour let alone the nubian blue-black.
Justin Ramirez
Bait harder, user. This is too obvious.

>a single expansion in KD is 1000.00 hambuckers >in no way does 1k babybackcalms get you a "entire damed arm" worth of sexy models

Dominic Bell
if your pledge is close to a thousand bucks, then you are for all intents and purposes getting an entire army's worth of miniatures. The average expansion was $50, which for the number of models was probably better in dollars per model than GWs stuff.
Charles Sullivan
>Undead level pledge >175$ worth of sleeves. >Looks up sleeves on Taobao : about 0.1RMB per sleeve. So, either those sleeves are a rip off, or you're getting somewhere around 12000 sleeves. How many fucking cards are there in this game?!

Jackson Lopez
I didn't spend $1k (tho it was close) and by my count I'm getting 150+ 30mm miniatures.
Carter Perry
The base game has about 1500 cards, there are about 29 expansions for the game one of which is almost as big as the base game.
Alexander Hall
The average KD expansion is $50 and includes a big model, several human sized, and a pack of cards.
The average $50 box from GW comes with a couple plastic sprues that let you build between 5 to 10 models, and all big models cost upwards of that.
If someone pledged $1000 in this KS he's getting either the core game and at least 8 expansions or literally hundreds of models.
Needless to say KD models are better sculpted and more beautiful overall than what GW usually shits out. Compare the new Celestine with any of the female models (not only pinups) in KD, or any goofy GW monster with KD exquisitely detailed monsters.
tl;dr fuck off troll

>1. Undead Pledge Level vs Gamer Pledge Level: From the last info we received from several backers, we learnt that Adam will prepare more cards than expected so is better for you to have more sleeves in any case. This counts for the Satan pledge level in KMD campaign. Here, I will borrow one of the comments to display the numbers:
>30 gear card packs (mini square), 72 standard card packs (standard american), 3 settlement event card packs (add on item), 2 settlement location card packs (add on item)
>TOTAL 107 packs (you can always add 2 more for standard and 1 more for gear to round the total amount to 110)
>So if the above amount is correct then it is better to go directly for the Gamer pledge level. Why? If you stay at Undead Level and you add more sleeves as add-ons it will almost cost you as much as the Gamer pledge level. So instead of doing that, you can simple go directly to the Gamer pledge level which gives you already more sleeves, even to sleeve another game too, is a fixed pledge level and also has fixed ship fees.
That pledge level isn't enough now, incase anyone was considering them.
No idea what their "retail" price will be, but considering they also announced everything will be on their webstore then I might do what other user said and WAIT
Unless people are aware of the savings, in which case I'll reconsider if it's significant.

For the record you totally can get complete and viable 40k army under a grand. Riptides are 85 each, knight is 160, that leaves you with over 500 for chaff to fill up the points.

On the off chance you are misinformed and not baiting (and even still in the thread) the most expansive expansion is $150. Most of them are only $50.
The problem is there are THIRTY expansions. It's not people paying that much for ONE expansion, its people paying that much for ALL expansion.

Heh, you're right user. If we're going for the idea that KD is indeed the afterlife, there should be variety. I was thinking more of generations of humans progressively losing all pigmentation, but if it's dead people "waking up", I guess that would make sense.
Now I'm tempted to look up pictures of dead people to see what discolored skin would look like. But then... dead people.
You mean a better afterlife, don't you?
Ryder Collins
it's too expensive it's an anime game it's very pricey it's a status symbol it's porn it costs a lot of money it's a miniature game did I mention that it it is way too expensive?

Of course that 150$ also comes with 1 massive monster, 6 small to medium monsters and 16 humanoids in addition to rules for a full core game replacement.

Philosophies, those marked with a plus are addons not included in the GC. >Ambitionism >Homicidal >Romanticism >Virminism >Candypopism (+) >Impermanenism >Marrow Hunger >Kings Spear >Psychopath (+) >Gathering >Gourmand >Hyper Light (+) >Starbound >Shadowstalker >Champion >Anonymous (+) Classes, which replace the Age story event with something that MIGHT use the philosophy system, but at the very least function similarly.
>Rogue? >Fighter? >Sorcerer? >Cleric?
So that's 12 core philosophies, and 4-8 additional philosophies.
The question is, is that number large enough to completely replace fighting arts?
Landon Hall
I still have no real idea how Philosophies are supposed to work.
Levi Adams
My understanding is that their an alternative to the current courage/understanding system.
Lincoln Howard
I've watched a few games of it being played. The mechanics are astounding. Even if you changed the setting to generic low-fantasy with no cheesecake and the models were cardboard chits on a plain grid, the game would still be worth over $100.
Ayden Cox
well I now I'm basing my well hung tittymonster like this
good suggestion, user
Even better if the faces are alive and have no eyes. Some kinda 404 runes etched across some of them?
Owen Morris
My guess is they're bonuses at a cost. Must follow x course of action, sacrifice goods/people, restrict other actions to get the bonus, which should be tempting enough to even consider jumping through the hoops the philosophy tells you to.
Nathaniel Brown
I think classes ARE Philosopies.
It sounds like the way the system works is that it replaces the generic Age system, and each time you hit a milestone you get to choose between giving a buff to the settlement, or gaining a new ability/upgrading an existing ability.
Philosophies don't replace fighting arts themselves, they just give you something that can replace them. My guess is that it will function like the Silk Surgeon SFA.
Julian Fisher
Oh yes and they whisper constant bizarre gibberish at each other and passers-by, they'd have all sorts of fun effects on insane survivors, all in all seems like a fun hunt event.
