I read a thing that had some nearly-god dude that got imprisoned in a house in the middle of nowhere because someone fucked him up, but since he was just god enough to be immortal, they drove a big fucking metal spike through his chest and pinned him to the floor.
In the end, he had enough godliness to project his image/will a certain radius around his house, but some magic bs kept him from removing the spike.

It might be an idea if you can find a more condensed version/way of saying it.

Probably should have specified; when I said styles of sealed evil, I meant what made them so dangerous that they had to be sealed. Stuff like destroying or corrupting the world with their very presence, or commanding untold legions of dark armies.
Similar stuff with the style of imprisonment. Try to give general ideas that could cover any builds you could think of, not a description of a build
The CYOA is primarily focused on your prison and the hurdles you would face. The only thing hindering what you choose to do with the world once you're free is whatever resistance it could devote against you.

Or "mad scientist/wizard cannibal and his two minions who decided to go to sleep for a while, but in such a way that waking them was virtually assured because of what schmuck bait their preserved state and associated artifacts presented".

Basically guarantees a wizard is going to open it.

The plot is:
