1. Don't throw heavy weapons into troop squads. 2 flamers/meltas and a combi-sarge is better.
2. Don't waste points upgrading dreads or drop pods.

Malefic Tome adds more utility. Cursed Crozius is fun, but you already have a Force Weapon, and Cultists don't get as much out of Preferred Enemy.

I suppose you could do something like a Slaanesh Lord on Steed with it, if you want to outflank Plasma Chosen or so...but I wouldn't recommend it. Or stick said Lord in an OblitStar.
