What are you all working on? I finished the 4 models in the front today. Preparing for a learning tournament soon.
Liam Young
Reposting from last thread. Looking for comments, maybe replace the Thorakites for repeaters?
Jose Cruz
Aesthetic as fuck.
Aiden Jones
Getting back into painting. Got a new job recently and have almost no time to finish the 80+ minis sitting as commission jobs, let alone anything mine.
Ayden Rogers
also wtf, I thought I cleared the name.
Levi Hernandez
>What are you all working on? Gonna tear into one of these shortly, I think. Or their new flying VW Bug Bus.
Christian Russell
Looks like there's an error in your army builder, because you're not allowed to have more than 10 orders in a single group. That list be illegal, yo.
Dylan Carter
Finishing the touch ups on Luny but it's bed time now.
I've also got Miyamoto base coated.
Leo Torres
Miyamotwo Blueshashi and the pheasant rank Red Fury.
Julian Lee
Pigeon-toed in power armor... That'll be a short career.
Julian Anderson
You can move a trooper into a combat group with 10 orderd but that makes it not ITS legal
Camden Scott
Planning on using this for a tournament running the TAGLINE missions, any thoughts?
Michael Mitchell
What are you going to do when the maghariba guard gets hacked?
Landon Sanders
Go away lizard-thing
Angel Mitchell
Ok, fellow Shasvastii players. Your thoughts on the Scindron? I can't really tell if I like it or not. Its clearly better than that awful raicho pilot, but seeing as the Scindron is a Shasvastii and the raicho pilot is a filthy red monkey, its hardly a surprise.
I think my biggest issue is the knife, as A) it doesn't have a CCW, so why is it armed with one, and 2) seeing as its a fucking robot, why wouldn't its non-existent weapon be attached to it.
Maybe its implied that it picked it up off the floor or something.
Ethan Scott
>Ok, fellow Shasvastii players What, all 3 of us? :^)
>knife why PDF fuckup is the gift that keeps on giving, At this point I'm formly convinced that when it comes to printing and/or online stuff CB can't find their asses with both hands and a sensor bot, so I choose to laugh because otherwise it gets depressing.
>not robotic blade why Anime. You want more realistic, convert your own.
James Cox
Also, I'm totally shaving that not-Egyptian fake beard off.
Gavin Sanders
>What, all 3 of us? :^) Nah, only 2. That other guy went to nomads.
Jeremiah Brown
Third shasvastii player reporting in.
Pretty meh overall. It's a model that never needed to exist. Give us new sculpts please.
Hudson Evans
I'm surprised it's so big. I expected a tiny, tiny thing to represent like a little drone unit. Not nearly a human sized trooper.
And why is this utility unit for the TAG equipped with a friggin combat knife?
Andrew Torres
So it can knife fight the crabbot, obviously. Do you even Crab Battle, bro?
Brody Stewart
I disagree that it didn't need to exist, since I think changing TAG pilots to specialists is was a pretty good idea, and having our remote tags have dumb robots to go do shit is nice, I just wish its fucking arms weren't so... spindly. They look kind of off to me.
Kayden Richardson
You know, since they gave the knife to the thing that doesn't have a fucking CCW, they aren't going to give the thing WITH the CCW any knife to speak of.
Just a hype as CLAW
Justin Mitchell
I like it, but I don't mind the Raicho pilot either so maybe I'm just insane.
And it's a well known fact that all Shasvastii have a knife fetish. Just look at all those Seed Soldiers with their knives they don't know how to use. It's not meant to cut people, it's meant to be waved around threateningly.
Jeremiah Rodriguez
C-combi Aswang?
Bentley Ramirez
Year of Shasvastii complete!
Ryan Garcia
Fuck you.
Charles Carter
Seeing as theres so much shasvastii talk, would it be worth jumping into them? I know they're reworking them but do we know how much they're changing? Should I even bother or just wait (for god knows how long)?
Charles Jenkins
Fuck, I hope so.
Michael Baker
Just wait. They're a meme army, and this is meme support.
Andrew Stewart
Just go vanilla CA with heavy Shasvastii presence (Shrouded, Malignos, Noctifer, Speculo, Aswang, maybe Sheskiin, Sphinx) so you can add stuff like HI or MSV. Pure Shasvastii lists are not worth it atm.
Nathan Lee
So true.
Jonathan Kelly
Terrain, specifically Systema Gamings Base-0 catwalks. Going to try to make a Ariadnan swamp base. Hopefully it will be finished before March.
Angel Scott
Sadly all my models are shelved untill this project is finished so I can focus and get it all finished for once. The terrain has been sitting down at the club forever.
Grayson Flores
Unlike some of the CNC kits, this one follows the instructions. Those instructions are still whack in a few spots, but that's an improvement over "these aren't the same parts".
Benjamin Wright
No, you can't move someone in a combat Group that's full
Landon Thompson
How is the Morat Aggression. Force competitively? Looking to get either them or vanilla YJ.
Connor Lewis
Meh. Any faction can work competitively, it's all about how you use the tools you're given.
That said MAF can be a little difficult in ITS due to a lack of good specialists and tricks like camo. They're very direct, smoke grenades and a basic MSV2 unit are the only real fancy equipment they've got. They have many good link team options though, and a few great solo units like Sogarats and Rasyats.
Dylan Gonzalez
As others have said, you can't have all 12 orders in your list. Also the plural for thorakites is thorakitai.
Ryan Cox
Is Raicho worth taking now that the pilot is a specialist?
Luke Cruz
Not really.
Nathan Cook
Probably not, it's a significant risk letting the girl out of her robot and the TAG itself is still painfully mediocre. You can buy a Sogarat and a Zerat specialist for cheaper, the Soggy is almost as good for murdering and the Zerat is better at button pushing.
Robert King
Nice looking stuff there.
Jeremiah Gonzalez
>MAF can be a little difficult in ITS due to a lack of good specialists
I was looking at MAF lists yesterday and I don't know where that reputation comes from. Lack of camo is an issue sure, but Doctor Worm, Kurgats, Rodoks & Zerats seem to provide a good selection of specialists. They have the equipment and skills to take and hold objectives, especially given that Kurgats, Rodok specialists and the Zerat FO all have mines to make counter-pushes more difficult, a luxury I've rarely experienced coming from QK & ISS.
Hunter Garcia
They dont struggle with finding specialists. I think that idea comes from the fact that they just have to do things the hard way to get their specialists up field - through firepower and resilience.
Zerats are of course very useful, but they're the only forward deploying specialist in the MAF and whild they have mimetism, they dont have the camo skill to protect them. Not saying that makes them bad or anything. Just saying that they're a very straightforward army which is both pro/con.
Carson Watson
They only have one special deployment specialist and none of them are particularly survivable. Mimetism is not a substitute for camo or 2 wounds, and infiltration, AD, mech deployment, etc. are all brilliant for getting button pushers in the right place safely and efficiently.
That said, they still have their fair share of decent specialists. I've never been impressed by unlinked Rodoks, but Zerats are great when not compared to Shrouded and the mk12 Kurgat is a pain in the ass to remove if you spend a couple of orders fortifying with mines and supp fire in the right place. Doc Worm is good for running in after you've murdered everyone that could possibly threaten him, but otherwise he's a little too brittle for my taste.
Logan Lopez
I just did famalam
It's illegal, but fornicate the gendarmerie
Kayden Sullivan
You done fucked up now, space police are gonna come to your house and break your legs. Never break the space law.
Jayden Martinez
[USER WAS RE-EDUCATED FOR THIS POST]
Blake Phillips
Do you think the pilot profile changes will be permanent?
Michael Bell
It's a babby Sphinx - since I like the Sphinx, I like this cheeky lad as well. As for the knife, that's just the profile not having one, probably due to severe lack of siestas in the organism of the pdf compiler.
Sebastian Johnson
I think they'll stay specialists, there profiles may change over time though.
Samuel Clark
If the Kriza Borac even vaguely resembles that I'd be surprised. Aren't they going to be S5 HI with an X-visor or something?
Are Blue Wolves going to be a thing too?
Michael Perez
>S5 HI with an X-visor The Sil might go down, but otherwise you're on the money. Sometimes the rumor has them with TO Infiltration, but that was actually the Spekter in the same comic that people were mistaking it for.
Anthony Roberts
I remember something on the Forums about Bostria saying how they'd be S5.
Thomas Martinez
impetuous bikes
Thomas Cruz
>Are Blue Wolves going to be a thing too? According to a recent interview they've been canceled. Sad!
Alexander Ramirez
I am so tempted to do something like this though I'm sure I'd fuck up the attack and lose half my army in one turn.
Eli Price
Me and some friends just got into Infinity, and I wanted to know if this was an okay list for casual games with friends
Robert Nelson
I mean, it seems ok, but for getting people started in the game it seems a bit strange to include pitchers, Killer hacking devices, Jammers, smoke, and Holoprojector 2 on a unit without a sculpt yet. Also, overall, I don't think there are that many cheerleaders to support the TAG with orders. It's arguably the Hafza, Muyib, Lasiq, and Barid but that seems to be it, and the rest of kind of order Hungry.
Colton Sanders
A pit her for a killer hacking device and nothing else seems a tad odd.
Christian Green
>not icepick grip 0/10 No buy.
Samuel Carter
>pit her Seriously my phone doesn't know the word pitcher? Fucking hell.
Brayden Carter
Pit her? I 'ardly know 'er!
Noah Bell
Anyone else hyped for the Maghariba pilot reveal? I hope she's pretty.
Jack Martin
Uh, dude. She's been out for ages. One of the better Bootleg minis. It was for the old Maggie, but they confirmed that in the new one the seat is the same.
Asher Hall
She isn't getting a new mini? That's disappointing. Why would she sit in a seat outside her TAG in the middle of a battle?
Elijah Evans
There was no word of a new mini, probably because she's already on a 25mm base. Also it's a good looking mini. I think I like her more than Lizard, less hypersexualized and no butterface.
Angel Roberts
Fixed the 12 dudes in one group issue.
Gabriel Cox
Which is saying something when you take into account that the lizard pilot is a legit mini while the maghariba guard pilot is from the 'sexy' line of minis
Nolan Ortiz
Newfag here, how does the imperial secret service play? I really like the big brother secret police angle.
Ryan Reyes
Lizard pilot is bootleg you fucking chode.
Caleb Stewart
Ah fuck, got her and the szalamandra mixed up. Sorry for ruining your day.
Blake Foster
They play into the strengths of their heavies really well, between the Hsien, Su Jian, and Wu Ming, and can really charge up their order efficiency from their unusual links like the Kuang Shi (4 point regular orders a piece), Zhanying/Bao Troop Haris, and celestial guard with Crank Rank and/or the mad traps Jackie-Chan dude. On top of that they have ninja (just one) and Kanrens for midfield objective grabbing and skirmishing. One weird thing is their only Doctor is an Aleph unit and also an engineer, but is great otherwise.
Chase Edwards
Combat groups cant share order pools, you might wanna rethink what you dump into group 2. if you actually plan on using that FO, you probably want a pool of more than 2 orders.
Total reaction remotes like the Zayin are an easy pick for group 2 as they dont really need an order pool to do what they do (shoot in ARO primarily)
Easton Long
It better not happen again.
Logan Richardson
I always thought the color choice for this mini makes her look super lewd, bare ass in plain sight without even a g-string like those other nomad degenerates. Not that I'm complaining...
The list is pretty solid. I'd put the Zayin in the second group, with the right positioning it can function well with just a couple orders per turn. Also I'd take another Myrm so he can cover your specialists while the first supports the Marut, but the list will still function with one.
Brayden Adams
Thanks for the input.
Joseph Jones
So way back there was some user here who had the idea of making Operation Icestorm in Unity.
Did they ever manage to complete that?
Colton Wright
On the top optic of pseudo-Sectorials, how viable wold a mostly all Tugunska army be? The four infantry are all grand, the TAG is nice if ugly, and there's always remotes to boost with super hackermans.
I already play Kazak-only Ariadna, so I'm used to the limitations, and would love to pick up more space slavs.
Isaiah Lopez
Have fun getting your interventors assassinated and likely LoL, although having the most annoying bonus from Link teams not in a link from Securitate is interestingly fun. Grenzers will just get constantly compared with Intruders, which isn't fun. You might end up running ok lists though, but it does seem rather limiting without a cheap line troop or the links to make up for the lack of cheap line troops, luckily the 8 point remotes exist.
Camden Nelson
They're a very solid sectorial with definite strengths and some weird limit. In game they deploy a mix of cheap and elite units so you can actually leverage your heavy killers. Listbuilding allows a certain flexibility, menaing you can play equally well both a limited insertion Wu Ming pain train and a 2-combat groups Kuang Shi horde (and any variation inbetween).
The sectorial has unusual Fireteam configurations and a lot of internal synergy between units, and is renowned for its penchant for visors and the use of Bounty Hunters. It has a rather brutal approach towards solving problems, relying on their elite HI and superior firepower to mow down opposition; but they can also use a few dirty tricks like the old smoke combo or the abundance of holoprojectors.
Specialists are a bit of a problem, we have some VERY high quality ones but can't take a lot due to limitations, so generally the lists end up with less specialists tha most other factions (but if you don't play ITS it's hardly a problem).
One last thing that I like to point out is that ISS is one of the best factions to play a REM heavy list: we have high quality REMs between the Yaoxie and ALEPH ones, and all the means to support them optimally.
Jack Fisher
I think it was Tabletop Simulator. No word recently, the guy was likely busy.
Oliver Edwards
There is Operation Icestorm in Tabletop Simulator, not sure how good it is but its separated into 5 parts
Grayson Roberts
New RPG art. I like that some characters are recurring.
David Lewis
...
Hudson Bennett
Combined the pistol ones: Ariadna, Haqqislam, Yu Jing.
Angel Sanchez
Are those Viral pistols? Does Yu Jing even have Viral?
Connor Ross
That's the standars YJ pistol that everyone carries.
Ryan Brooks
I'm pretty sure Viral would be a type of ammo rather than type of pistol. Grenzer's Breaker pistol looks the same as standard issue one, same with Father-Knight's one.
Isaiah Hill
Rule question:
I have a WuMing which, in reactive turn, is getting shot by an enemy trooper. He ARO's Dodge. By AROing, he also triggers an enemy direct template-mine. He successfully dodges the mine, but suffers one impact by the enemy trooper, but survives.
Now the question. I get a 3" movement (Kinematika L1) from my ARO-dodge. If I fail my guts-roll, is the "flee"-distance stacked on top of my ARO-dodge distance? (For the sake of this question, let's say I'm dodge-moving into a direction that is also elegible for "fleeing".) So in this example, I would move a total of 5": 3" from dodge-ARO + "fleeing"?
Do I even get the dodge-distance in this example, since I only successfully dodged the mine, not the enemy trooper?
Jaxson Wood
So how are the laser cut terrain? I've been debating on biteingthe bullet and grabbing some. Also any recommendations on which to snag?
Jayden Rogers
I mean, I'd be fine with a few outside touches. Taskmasters to make up for the lack of our HI, Clockmaker as faction engineer. I actually tend to run elite Kazaks with rarely more than 14 order so I should be comfortable in regards to that.
Carson Ross
Kinematika only applies to Dodge or Engage. You have pads both FtF rolls to Dodge in your example. Failing the guts roll only gives 2" mov towards Partial cover or Total Cover away from the attacker
Adrian Morales
>Do I even get the dodge-distance in this example, since I only successfully dodged the mine, not the enemy trooper? that's the crucial part. I might be wrong but I seem to remember you need to win every opposed roll at the same time to be able to dodge-move, regardless of if they come from the same or different sources, so in your example you only get to make the Guts-move, not the dodge-move.
Michael Moore
So today I had an interesting game. Instead of the Usual 1vs1 we had a 3 vs 4.
The 4 were, two aleph, Yujing and Nomads With 200 points each
and the three were all PanO players. One with 300 and the other two with 250.
Rules for the match were, one lieutenant between the each of us, the lieutenant gets access to the command tokens. Limited insertion. Each of forces acted like their own order pool in a larger force.
I only got to play two rounds before leaving. But would you like to know?
Tyler Walker
I just inherited a whole bunch of infinity stuff from a friend. I've always been interested and now I don't have any excuses, aside from the rules themselves is there anything I need to know?
If it helps most of the stuff I dig seems to be PanO and Aleph.
Jordan Gutierrez
orders specialists (if playing its) don't start from the deep end know what shit in your army does paint yo shit
