Tau

ITT: What is the Tau's endgame during the end times?

My prediction: A battle between the Imperium and some Xenos or Chaos steamrolls them in the wake of battle on accident.

the tau accidentally win a battle were they are outnumbered 10000000000000 to 1 because they developped a katana fold a quintillion times that can cut throught ceramite armor.
If you really think any author wille make Tau ever suffer a loss in this, you clearly werent there for the last 10 years of fluff.
It's literraly GW second favorite wank after Ultramarines

Whatever the real puppet-masters behind the Ethereals have in mind.

My prediction: A battle between the Imperium and some Xenos or Chaos, and the Tau steamrolls them in the wake of battle on accident.

The Tau unleash an army of a couple billion Riptides and proceed to steamroll the galaxy. 40k ends with victory for the greater good.

hrrrrnnggg oragoto demisema. tau stronk. the caste hrnguru. pew pew pew. greater good hrng.

The Tau have already been isolated by the great firewall. They're out of the game and effectively insulated from the events that are coming.

Except for the Enclaves and the planets captured beyond the Damocles Gulf.

They lost all the planets they captured beyond the gulf. The Tau are isolated behind the wall. The Farsight Enclaves remain.

Cultural Victory/Make Everyone Else go full Weeaboo for them.

They kept flipping star systems adjacent to theirs!!!

Prefectia is still controlled Tau loyalist and it is way beyond the Gulf, near the Gilded Worlds. It's a planet noted for being rich in sources of energy ideal for a Sept.

They come to understand exactly what the Warp is (do they still believe they killed Slaanesh?), what kind of universe they live in, and how incredibly lucky they are that all enemy factions have had bigger fish to fry all this time. So they say "fuck this", build a Dyson sphere around their homeworld and are never heard from again.

Read that like the Borg would say it.

The nids show up, and the densely packed Tau space ends up becoming a meatgrinder for them.

The Nids still leak around the edges of Tau space and attack other worlds in the galaxy, but the Tau expansion is stalled as they are forced to build ever more extreme defensive stations and offensive superweapons to survive.

Imperial spies grow worried. Should the Tau fall, the influx of Tyranids will spike dramatically and the entire segmentum could be lost. But if the Tau manage to survive this seemingly endless assault, they will emerge from the war with an incredibly hardened and well equipped fleet such that no conceivable Imperial fleet could hope to overcome them, and when the Tau expansion resumes the Imperium will be completely outmatched before the rise of a new golden age empire, like the DAoT or Eldar Empire of Old.

>what is the Octarius War

>ITT: What is the Tau's endgame during the end times?
To slow the Tyranids down enough for the Eldar and Imperium to beat Chaos before their extinction.

Emperor dies, warp travel dies, tyranids are no longer attracted to the IOM, the Elder make the infinity cicuit, necrons return.

Man loses to Cayos and is destroyed.
Necron's get killed by the new infinity god.
The emperor kills the infinity god.
The tau encounter the orks and make a bioweapon to wipe them out.
Tau inherit the galaxy ... then the emperor returns and kills them all apart from the humans in the tau empire.
Cain steps out and thanks the throne Jurgen was next to him and protected him from the fuck fest.

Vassal state of the Ultramarines after the collapse of the Imperium.

To get everyone to listen to their Pop music and wear their Tau-brand Skinny Jeans. That was their devious grand master plan all along.
