Also, don't do what my dumb-ass friend did and get greedy or over-confident in the market.
The market is your enemy.
If there is a massive period of uncertainty, don't risk it. Take at least half out in to something stable, sit by the side and wait.
If it shows signs of being okay, dive back in, you wouldn't lose much. But if it shits the bed, you at least gained a tidy amount of money before said bed-shitting.

i only day trade with $50k on tdameritrade and make on avg $3000-$5000 a day, sometimes i lose and end up holding trades until they profit but it happens maybe once a week
with crypto i just hold on for dear life and wait on those insane gains years down the road.
