I have with me the entire collection of Humankind.
A rare cyberpunk dystopian future card game, that was discontinued, after the creator got nuts, and the company went broke.
The collection I have it's the most complete in existance, includes a couple of beta cards that never were realeased, and some fairly unique cards, that it's pretty safe to say that aren't anywhere else.
This. None of that lorem ipsum crap like in your picture.
Leo Watson
Nope, spanish.
It's a Chilean card game, they're around the 1000 cards.
Noah Thompson
>Anyone interested? Why are you not dumping yet?
You seem to speak English. Post shitty translations as you go.
Brayden Reyes
Well, this board is predominantly English. If you can be assed translating the thing, it might get a notice. But in present state it's just an images with gibberish.
Jason Perez
Shitty cellphone camera only, I'll get a scanner eventually.
>Irrigation channel.
>Corporative crops, relay on them.
In your contemplation phase, just once per turn, you can look one card at random from your oponents hand.
Evan Hall
>Catacombs
When catacombs enters the game, all players shuffle their hand, then they take the same amount of cards they had on the hand originally.
>Virtue (the color symbols are for factions)(0) this it's for the random number from the virtue card, that's another game mechanic)
all players shuffle their hand, then they take the same amount of cards they had on the hand originally.
(you can use the same effect twice, but most cards use the virtue skill differently)

A quick rundown on the lore.
There is 4 factions in the game, Corporation, Chimera, Abismal and Acracia.
Corporation (red) it's capitalism, they're transhumanists evil bussinessman from the 80's.
Chimera, (blue) are like old country communists, plenty of russians and overall depressing.
Acracia (yellow), urban cyberpunk anarchists, straight out of chilean urban lore.
Abismal (green), techno cultists, lead by moloch himself.
Ryder Perry
Monitoring this thread. OP, you're a gentleman and a heterosexual.
Camden Barnes
Thanks.

William Price
There's five types of cards.
Sanctuary
>You start the game with it.
It has.
>Structure points, (HP).
>Willpoints, (mana).
>Number of accesories allowed
>A skill.
Characters.
>They're characters.
Can't attack first turn it enters the game, they cost willpoints, have lifepoints, can attack, block and can challenge to a duel, that has different rules than regular attack, I'll go into detail of that later.
Accesories.
>They are used on the sanctuary and are permanent.
>They add willpoints and have skills.
Technology.
>They are used on the characters.
>They add skills and hitpoints.
Manipulations.
>Spells.
Anthony Green
Duels.
In duel you start by using a virtue card, (see next pic for reference)
You break open the virtue card and it contains one of the 4 factions symbol, if it matches the one of your attacker it cancels the duel.
If it doesn't you have four more slots duel ends when the virtue card ends.
Carter Peterson
Virtue card.
I open one slot and got -1.
There's numbers form -2 to 2, four faction symbols, and an aleatory blank space.
Dylan King
wait, are those one time use only?
That seems wasteful.
Josiah Clark
It is, they changed it later for cards.
But I have to admit that it makes duels a lot more exciting.
In a related note I know the artists for this one, we wen to the same school.
Glad he landed at least one drawing job.
Blake Collins
>Brando d'Alligeri >Floating skulls >Sunglasses at night >Anime hair >Wide grin >Trenchcoat >WHITE trenchcoat (not sure if it adds or subtracts Edge points)
That's fucking amazing. No, seriously, it has this adorable sincerity of a first deviantart steel donut and we need more of this in cyberpunk.
Grayson Smith

Detailed story behind game? Wanna know more about crazy creator
Xavier Carter
Sergio Lantadilla.
Weird guy, made the whole story, he wrote it on a fotolog like psychotics ramblings, fan of everything you could imagine, apparently he still works as an illustrator, but the project ended cause Salo, the company that made the cards went bankrupt
For such a shortlived game they sure made a lot of cards.
>I'm the primordial creature, the truth that runs through your veins.
Un (character) with (molecular vibration) as obkective it cosiders blocked by a (character) with (predictive) of equal strenght, that doesn't makes combat damage.

>That last post.
I need some rest for now, I'll continue later.
Lincoln Gutierrez
Buena thread, compadre. Deberíamos juntarnos - nunca he conocido a un fa/tg/uy de Chile!
Jaxson Evans
You should probably wait until you can scan them, then post an archive. It's better and easier than one-per-post camera pics.
William Hall
>edgy One Piece trace this game is a national treasure.
Jose Johnson
I got the scanner, but this way I can translate them too.
The shitpost makes it more fun.
It has vandalism and low lifes as well.
Yeah, cool.
Here it's an overview of most of them, there's some books that I can't find right now and more collector items that are around the house.
Asher Gutierrez
Got stuck with the scanner.
Close circuit
>(accesory)
>No one will enter in this device.
You can pay two willpoints so a (character)(corporation) gains more 1 to the strenght on a duel.
Jaxon Long
Ancient scanner that no one has used in 5 years doesn't works.
If someone how to install the drivers for an Hp deskjet 2050 (hp weppage drivers don't work), it will be really helpful
Cooper Jackson
That's some Guernica art right there.
I like the pointy tits and angular chest on the right girl.
Eli Evans
That's Lantadilla style, he was the art director and the reason all the cards have a distinctive style despise being made by different artists.
Genzo one of the ilustrators did the cover art for a world of warcraft expansion and my school buddy worked with Udon, the one from the street fighter comics.
There's plenty of cards left, I'll search for some of the best looking ones.
Asher Parker
Hey OP, chilean fag here. being honest I didn't have my chance to play Humankind because my thing for card games just kicked around a pair of years back.
anyways, what do you think of Humankind "Rebirth"? aka that attempt to bring back HK in a digital format?
also still explain me a bit about the game, it looks like it had potential and was looking to be something else apart of fucking Mitos y Legendas.
Ian Nelson
Improved the picture taking a bit.
This it's a sanctuary, factions have distinctive styles and it reflects in the buildings.
Eden.
>(sanctuary)
>A black flower rises from the abyss.
In your will harvest, once per turn, you can make 1 of direct damage to your (sanctuary) in order to generate 1 willpoint.

Adrian Martinez
I'm from the fifth.
Santiago no es Chile.
House of the thousand screams.

Oh impressive. First region here, there isn't much to do around but we have people who often play warhammer, do roleplaying and have lots of board games.
I know Santiago no es Chile but Santiago has the biggest Veeky Forums community at least in the country, or at least that's what I perceive.
William Bailey

Carson Edwards
Aztaroth.
>(character)
>Who challenges the night?
If aztaroth it's declared attacker, your (characters)(abismal) gain more 1 to the strenght.
Carter Brown
+1. the heat here is fine, nothing as terrible like the 30° and something degrees in the central regions.
as I was telling you, my obsession for card games just kicked a pair of years ago so it's really a shame I couldn't be presented to Humankind in the first place. this looks all ways of original and weird but I like it. like to be Netrunner but from a Latino point of view.
Jackson Anderson
Anita.
>(character)
>the forces of chaos flow.
(empathy, two characters can block a single enemy) In your harvest of will, you can destrot Anita so your opponent discards a number of cards equal to Anita's strenght.
Hudson Ramirez
Genzo did this? how? I thought he could only do bright effects.
Kevin Nelson
This is amazing.
Robert Anderson
His art in this it's really good.
There's a thousand cards literally.
I'm surprised of Lantadilla, classical guy that can't draw makes an entire card game, with a unique art direction.
Dj Slap
>(character)
>Music it's solid like concrete.
If Dj Slap carries (technology) gains 2 at strenght.
Josiah Lopez
Gotta go now, I'll continue later.
Jaxson Fisher
the drawings looks like something out of a sketchbook but in a good way. like it has that style that comes from teenager that getting throught "edad del pavo".
also you made me remind so much about the "Tribus urbanas" from so long ago.
see ya later lad.
Joseph Hall
>edad del pavo
What's this mean?
William Sullivan
It's basically when teenagers start to become aware of the world that surrounds them. some of them become angsty and others fall into depression sometimes. when kids try to become adolescents and that comes with a big package of changes, mental but also physical changes.
Cameron Perry
Don't you dare to die on my again.
Juan Cox
>I know Santiago no es Chile but Santiago has the biggest Veeky Forums community at least in the country, or at least that's what I perceive. I was under the impression it was one of the biggest in Latin America.
Andrew Lee
well then beat me then. I fucking hate live in a place so far away from everything.
Anthony Ross
over a thousand cards? for how long did this game last?
John Baker
From 2005 to 2007.
It had three editions.
Evolution with 255 cards and 7 specials
Deviants with 280 and 15 specials
Suburbia with 200 and 5 specials
Radix 230 and 8.
Nolan Russell
Blackfist
>(character)
>I'm loyal to my comrade jean.
If black fist it's the only (character) declared attacker, you can't play (manipulations).
It's anyone still paying attention?
Logan Ramirez
I do, I don't know about the rest.
Alexander Flores
Yeah, definitely - it's cool as hell, even if the translation is a bit off / missing a bit of the rules that'd make the card text make more sense.
Looks cool as shit though, and very dark
Jaxon Turner
Thanks, it feels weird when there's no feedback.
Banjo
>The most rebellious of the abyss beings.
(virtud)(-): The (character) targeted losses X to his strenght till the contemplation phase.
What part it's not clear?, I have the manual here if you have questions.
David Wilson
Naginata.
>Takeshi it's my brother.
(macrophage, it can only challenge to duels)
if Naginata it's challenged to a duel it gains 1 to the strength.
Isaac Allen
Hawkline
>Where my word is, my arrow can reach.
(agility, it can attack when it enters the game)
>Restriction 2.
Samuel Powell
Well you've only mentioned "phases" in card effect descriptions for one.
And while I get that "harvest of will" is your income step, again you've only mentioned it relation to card effects.
Is restriction per deck or out, or what?
Little things like that
Also a bit curious how you can say you've got the most complete collection in existence, but it's still damn cool
Jace Gonzalez
>or out or out on the field
Christopher Collins
Phases are fairly standar, the names are slightly changed tough.
>Communion
It's the start of your turn, when you regroup and straight the cards, it's one of those games when you turn the cards sideways to use them.
>Meditation
You recover the willpoints, it's the same as regrouping.
>Stealing
You steal a card to start your offensive.
>Harvest of will.
You play your non attacker cards first, like accesories and technology, then you can attack, you can't play those cards after attacking.
>Duel.
It's when you challenge an enemy character to a duel, only difference with regular attack, it's that you can use virtue skills, but virtue skills are game changing, if you win a duel you can steal a card.
After that you have regular attack phase and your turn ends.
I'm sure the collection it's complete I have every card released, plus the promotional ones from events and tournaments, plus the betas that were never released, also every merchandising made of it.
It's as complete as it can be.
Oliver King
Contemplation, it's your pasive turn, when you watch the opponent play.
Restriction it's per deck.
Petrov Ivanovich
>The shadow has a human phase.
(Predictive, it cna block (characters) with (molecular vibration, unblockables)
In your contemplation phase once per turn you can search for a (character) in your limbo and put it in your hand.
>Restriction one.
In the lore this guy stoped Moloch back in 1947 starting the war.
Daniel Wright
as I was saying OP, do you realize that there's an attempt to bring back Humankind? It's called Humankind Awakening and it's supposed to be on digital rather then in paper.
Austin Campbell
Yeah I know about it, looks extremely generic and Lantadilla doesn't seems involved.
Besides this it's Veeky Forums, I hope you are not suggesting that a physical game going digital only it's a good thing.
Tarika
>Her mind it's been manipulated.
When Tarika enters or exits the game, it makes 2 od direct damage to the enemy (sanctuary) and to 1 your (sanctuary).
Joseph Adams
Wait if Lantadilla isn't behind Awakening then who the hell directs this thing?
It lacks the cheap nature of the card game, sadly it looks to clean.
Spawn.
>No, human I'm no longer.
(reaction, it can only block)
In your will harvest, if spawn it's in your limbo, you can pay it cost and put it in game.
Owen Carter
>looks too clean that's the word I've been looking for, Clean. it has nothing in comparison to the art you've been posting, something that gives that extra feeling of decadence and dirtiness that somehow reflects the setting and the world. I guess that's what you get when you go from pen and paper and you move to digital.
still if I found the art "eh..." I want to give it a shot for the game mostly because I haven't had the chance to play it while this was alive.
Eli Taylor
Thanks, OP. You're awesome for doing this!
Logan Davis
The art it's hit and miss, but the art direction overall it's flawless.
Thank you common Veeky Forums citizen.
Hunger.
>I'm a black pit.
(entropy, it must attack every turn it can)
In your phase of defence, if hunger ain't blocked, you can destroy it, to vanquish an opponent (character), that hasn't been declared blocker.
Christian Sanchez
Aleph.
>I know it all, cause I have created it.
(empathy) In your will harvest, once per turn you can pay 3 willpoints to make direct damage to the enemy (sanctuary).
>Restriction 2.
Noah Reed
