How did you lose to UW with Tron?

Would it be a good idea to brew a waste not mono black control deck?

Looking for more fun oriented modern deck, getting bored of tron.

It's bullshit that a strictly better card than OG moxen is legal in a format like Modern and is being abused by unfair and unfun decks like affinity or lantern.

Not much. He's not really that good when bolt kills him twice. Like you said, some lists run him, but i wouldn't splash for him or anything.

I've been fucking around with him in a budget BUG deck that uses flip jace and lili last hope until snapcaster and lili of the veil get reprinted in MM17. He's alright, getting a walker back with lili is pretty cool, and he's real good with damnation and such, but unlike snap he kinda prices you out of playing countermagic so your blue is just for like thoughtscour and the fun-of mystic snek.

Well I don't know about your LGS, but most people have to actually randomize their deck so they may not get exactly natural Tron + Wail + Ugin every time.

Forked Bolt was amazing in the Git Probe meta. My current "spicy tech" is Pillar of Flame from Avacyn Restored.

I've been running into so many Kitchen Finks ever since Fatal Push was spoiled, so I removed the 2 Forked Bolt from my deck and included the 2 Pillar of Flame.

I'm expecting a lot more in the way of Abzan CoCo decks, which this destroys handily

It's a local meta thing. I don't expect it at a high level but there are a couple players here that use it, in addition to a Jund player that has some Kitchen Finks.

The deck did get a lot better with Renegade Rallier, I will say that.
