An adventure as sung to the tune of a folk country song.

The premise is simple, you're a guy getting drunk with your hillbilly friends in a fantasy world and the night is dragging by when he pulls out his trusty banjo. Now he remembers that you also play the banjo and you've got a mean wit for improvised songs so in a bid to impress a couple of ladies he asks that you grab the banjo, take the stage and sing about one of your adventures.

Every choice you make is part of the song's lyrics with each section being broken into individual lines of the song. You choose the specific words that describe yourself in the songs lyrics and consequently the adventure, what you're doing, who you meet and what your fate ultimately looks like.

So far I've written out about five possible routes which end with your impregnating a girl you meet on the road and marrying them, nearly getting killed by a monster before making a fateful escape, getting drunk out of your mind and ending up in jail, and getting abducted by strange creatures who throw you back to earth.

Now remember all of this is expressed via lyrics and songs reminiscent of folk country. Specifically I used "A boy named Sue" as the basis.

Gyges would have Ghost (Ring of Gyges), Damocles could maybe have Witch and use it to seem like he's some kind of jinx (all our enemies have the Sword of Damocles hanging over them), and then Minos could... uh. Maybe he could have Ring Leader? Minos did become a judge of the dead after he himself perished.

Did you ever decide on the scale of the greater galaxy happening around us in Lavender? I'm making a primal goddess figure and I was planning on having her travel between hostile jungle planets hunting the most savage and dangerous beasts she could find. Sort of a Star Wars like setting but with Rite of Worldstepping instead of free FTL.

Picking Cartographer of the Far Reaches and sticking to the Labyrinth would work. I understand there's monsters and wilds aplenty out there. But I was really imagining something more like actual wild animals on an uninhabited planet as opposed to the cast off progeny of ancient Brides. It's a narrow distinction I admit.

Short answer: humans can be found pretty much everywhere because the Elder Powers found them useful compared to other candidates for "designated servant race", especially after the rebellion of the shoggoths. So yeah, jungle planet away.

The reason I leave humans everywhere is that I find it hard to conceptualize eroticism outside of a humanoid context. I had the distinct misfortune to read a fic describing "hot giant squid on hogwarts castle action". The experience made me realize that erotica must map in some fashion to human sexuality, otherwise you might as well describe architecture being molested by cephalopods.

It doesn't say so anywhere in the CYOA, and I'm sure the Gods would be more than happy to make their deals multiple times.
