Use Lacrymallus Archmagos in a Taghmata army list, use a ton of servitors, thralls and Myrmidons.

I've been playing 30k but haven't really played 40k or seen many psykers in action. Maybe not any. What's all this talk about perils of the warp being the balancing factor against how strong TS appear to be?

Look, at the end of the day, if you make it available to everyone you'll see loads of people switching out their spartans and storm eagles for the Sisters Taxi Service. Frankly, a future where every bloody loyalist 30k army has a minimal tax of sisters infantry and a load of taxis is not one I want to see.

Whenever a single TSon suffers a wound from perils everyone has to take a pinning test, which is made worse by every suffering -1Ld if every IC is killed.

Hey, that works. If I tool up about 40 or 60 of my Levies, I guess I could make a combined Lachrimallus/Force Commander model, probably with a Deldar whip and a few syringes, and pick whether I want tougher or more numerous and stabby Levies. Respawn probably not going to be too dramatic with 3 or 4 units, but I imagine it could make Custodes or similar rage if I get a couple lucky rolls.

Is there a "Standard" I have to follow when converting Cults/Miltia units? I can't see many official models for that line. Do I have to use Guardsmen or Chaos Cultists/Similar, or can I go a little crazy and use Skavenslaves and Crypt Ghouls? I imagine they'd look OK with a couple cybernetics dotted around and with that Silver Tower box the Skaven are quite cheap.

First the TS has to roll double 6, then he has to roll a result on the perils table that causes a wound, then he has to fail any possible tests requiered before the wound is suffered, then he has to fail the pinning tests on Ld 9 or 10.

Still seems less harsh than DA where you give the opponent D3 VP merely for not fielding as many units as him.

Look, taxi service helped bring in unfluffy superfriends bullshit to 40k, so I don't think it has any place in 30k. Other armies have shiny things that your army can't have, and that's okay.

They're short of 125 point ones. That are Fast. And stealthy. And can fit 10 marines/5 terminators AND an independent character (unlike the land raider). But of course you know all this, it's the whole reason you're so desperate to get them for your marines.

Is there a point in taking fists if you don't have EW and rerollable 3++? I'm working on a small detachment as allies, so he can't get EW and I don't want to model him with a shield.

The shield captain is strong enough that he's likely going to make his points back no matter what, taking the 1.5++ combo is just being a dick and totally avoidable if FW did any playtesting whatsoever.

If I'm so desperate, why am I willing to nerf it to remove all good bits out of it? Without Assault Vehicle, why would one take the sub over the Cadillac? They're both Fast, Skimmers, have the same capacity and the Cadillac has better armour and Flare Shields.

why wasn't Magnus the emperors favourite son? He was closest in ability, actively met the Emperor through psychic contact and could have repiared the rift between the Imperium and the psykers. He also had pretty pure intentions and could've helped the Imperium resist chaos.

I wish FW would make more plain style custodes shoulders. The models get busy with all the details. Would be nice to have simpler style pieces for less elite units.
