Underwater Astartes missions limited to fully suited troops, dreadnoughts, and Land Raiders when?
Gabriel Powell
Play Zone Mortalis in a fishtank, user.
Julian Jackson
That would be "Nerf Everything: The Mission". Why would you do that to yourself?
Wyatt Gomez
...
Dylan Wright
That is a nice piece of art user. Does it come in Thunder Warrior flavor?
Matthew Nelson
he probably likes the things he listed more than other shit
Samuel Gutierrez
>I want YOU >to hand me that free chainaxe
Isaiah Murphy
the artist has a list of chapters and legions he is doing, and I dont even think Thunder warriors have crossed his mind
Bentley Martinez
Did I miss the fluff page dumps?
Zachary Barnes
...
Henry Brown
What about Titans?
Isaiah Long
Shiiitttt,
thirty eight base coats done @.@
Thirty two left to go!
Chase Hall
How balanced is 30k? If you start up with a 2,000 point list focused around GW's plastic line with minimal FW support, are you going to be completely fucked against people with significantly larger resin budgets?
Angel Parker
Warhound a cute.
Cute!
Eli Ortiz
Not necessarily. If you build a good (counter) list, you will have a chance to win (in objectives game) unless its a fucking Knight Household or Darkside Mechanicum. But all games tend to get ridiculous past the 2.5k mark, when Primarchs walk the Earth.
Nathaniel James
There are some legions better than others, and mechanicum seem to go well from what I keep seeing, but not much seems immediately breakable
Because no one in the history of eternity ever said
>We need to take out their officer. This calls for our most accurate weaponry ! >Roll in the artillery boys !
Ian Reed
>tfw you will have to wait months to buy all the new units as they slowly trickle them out week by week
I WANT MY TS UNITS NOW
Owen Cook
Can someone take a picture of the lore pages for the Ordo Sinister?
Bentley Campbell
(pic) Cool, thank you!
Asher Allen
I want my Iw units first!
Owen Turner
So IW and WE were bumped further down on the power scale? Inferno only has new stuff for the new legions? Are there cool new missions?
Ethan Jackson
Soviets used artillery to try and kill Simo Hayha.
But what do you suggest instead?
Luke Mitchell
But user, there a still a ton of knight heads waiting to be released !
Just have the player that owns the unit being shot at allocate the wounds. Not ideal ofcourse because that way weapon specialists and unit leaders are never going to tank wounds unless they have to, but when it's only with barrage weapons it isn't that bad. Can still snipe with range, LoS, and precision shots.
Matthew Allen
I know /hhg/ hates 750 points lists, but here is my 500 space awoooos list for evening/ pick up games.
HQ -130- >Priest of Fenris >Speaker of the dead, PF, Melta Bombs
Troops -175- >Grey Slayers >10x Shields, 2x PF
-175- >Grey Slayers >10x Shields, 2x PF
Elites -270- >Deathsworn pack >MB's, Powerfist >Rhino transport, Multi Melta
Priest rides with the Deathsworn in the Rhino forward to fuck up armor and any other HQ's Grey Slayers walk forward to reach the mini-deathstar a turn or so later to enter melee and finish off whatever is there.
Six Powerfists, six Melta Bombs, a Multi-melta, 20 combat shield saves for marines. I am not sold on the Deathsworn/Rhino combination. I may remove it for something with more punch against Armor or Air.
Lincoln Perez
As it happens, the Crassus was made by Zhou-Arkkad, the Forgeworld that is headlining Inferno.
Though it would have a different name in M31.
Leo Mitchell
You could drop the MM and MB from the deathsworn and get 2 more fists on the slayers.
Ryder Clark
If I remove the MB from the deathsworn alone, I could get the maximum amount of fists for each 10 man squad- 3. Though I could just trade the PF from the priest and give the slayers those two fists- 20 point PF to two 10 point PF's
Zachary Baker
Oh, right, the melta-bombs are on the whole squad. I say drop the bombs for the fists and trade the Priest's fist for a power weapon, which you upgrade to a frost weapon. If you drop the melta-bomb from him, you can get a great frost blade.
I think a MM and 7 power fists is enough at 500pts.
Carson Lewis
It's 750 points, that was a poor typo
Elijah Morales
I know, I've read the entry in the IA. Having to come up with another cool name is not an issue.
You can't take a Priest of Fenris as compulsory HQ, only Praetor or Centurion. Why not make it Zone Mortalis then?
Charles Thompson
I literally have no idea what the rules of zm are.
Dylan Barnes
Also, don't priests count as Centurions because they replace those three consouls?
Benjamin Harris
The rules are in books 1 and 3, and on FW downloads site. No, a Centurion is a Centurion, not a Consul. I'd allow you the Priest for compulsory under 1k pts though.
William Hughes
Just to add, ZM rules make small point games more interesting.
Julian Ward
betrayal and extermination?
Daniel Fisher
Yeah. Betrayal contains basic ZM rules, while Extermination introduces ship-boarding actions (Blood in the Void). There's another mode in Extermination - Victory is Vengeance - for kill-team-style games. ZM requires a lot of terrain though. Basic rundown of rules is: >modified FOC >max unit size of 15 models >no dedicated transports >no monstrous creatures on base bigger than 60mm >templates and blasts gain shred, if already with shred then +1S
Gabriel Hughes
Hello anyone know where to find Ciaphis Cain audiobooks for free?
Bentley Brown
MkVI has poor armour, right?
Would it be ok to take MkVI legs and torso, give it a bare head, bare arms and small (IG style?) shoulder pads, as well as a small backpack (like Skitarii ones, but less Admech), and use it as Scout armour?
Liam Hughes
Apparently >Mark VI armour offered no better protection-levels than the Mark IV
I think Corvus being "lighter" just means it weighs less. However, that sounds like an awesome conversion. Pic related are what I'm using for Recon Armour (from Anvil Industry)
Wrong bread, seeing as Cain is 40k, but I'm an ok guy. Only 2 audiobooks here, however...
As of the Last Imperial Guard Codex there are thousands of Imperial worlds inhabited by abhumans homo mermaidus who are adapted to underwater life.
The Imperium has armies billions strong filled with blue skinned assholes with gills.
Isaac Bell
MkVI had the same problem as the MkV (which is why it has studded shoulder pad, etc.), since it used MkIV style plates (as oppose to segmented ones like MkII and III) but the materials for them were in short supply. It's one reason it was considered such a poor armour and why some wanted it to fail. The armour didn't become better until after the Heresy, when better materials became available once again.
Anvil Industry bare arms were what I was thinking for them.
Liam Jones
Cheers, shame there were no gaunts ghosts though, HH gets a bit samey after a while and Imperial guard stuff seems to be a bit more aware.
Once again thank you
Joshua Bailey
A weapon to surpass Metal Gear.
Joshua Green
So, if your army is 2001-3000 points you can't take any HQ other than centurions and praetors.
Juan Cooper
Listening to decent of angels it has mkiii using jump packs are there more examples of this anywhere else?
Joseph Ortiz
Seriously. Where is the fluff for the thousand sons and space wolves?
Wyatt Scott
There were none, and likely won't be any. Wait until Inferno goes on general release and an user is willing to do some camera snaps for you.
Henry Roberts
Probably not but why does that matter. There isn't any reason why mkiii couldn't use a jet pack. The armour is heavier but they aren't fucking terminators for Christ's sake. If you think it will look cool, just do it.
Grayson Reed
I like this user. He has a fully functioning brain.
Kayden Clark
It's not just the weight, it's balance. MkIII has thick extra plating on the front and reduced armour on the rear. And the jump packs would be on their backs. In all likelihood a MkIII marines firing up the engines would just do a cool, rocket assisted front flip, and proceed to eat shit.
There must be a reason why MkIII didn't have jump pack variants.
Joseph Gomez
I always assumed it was because jump pack troops will land in the midst of the enemy, rather than approaching from the front and eating gunfire to the face (I know in the game they land in front of the enemy then run forwards, but fluff-wise they normally seem to come down in the middle of enemy formations). So if they have enemies on all sides, Mk III loses its main advantage. Doesn't mean you can't wear it in an assault though - I could see someone that gets in challenges a lot choosing to wear Mk III for example.
Josiah Cook
I wonder if combat shielded IF assault marines fly in a testudo formation.
Xavier Sullivan
The mental image is glorious, so I'm going to say yes. >we are fortifying this cloud
Michael Ramirez
>applying physics to 40k Reminder that exothermic armour makes the area around it colder.
Levi Clark
reminder thatMK3 was primary desinged for ship boarding action (hence why no jump pack)
Christian Mitchell
what a manlet. Didnt the Titans have entire server's companies posted on each leg as if they were castle towers?
I don´t know... I knew Warhound Titans were kinda small because they were the vanguard and explorers but that Reaver looks too small.
Nathan Anderson
Only imperators have fortifications for feet.
Elijah Young
Well, any combat situation where cover is minimal. I'm sure taking a hive city or some underground tunnel complex would lead to similar problems.
Brayden Wilson
i think its also thats its very cramped, hence the renforcement only on the front armour
Jason Flores
> but mah physics in mah super serious science fantasy OK retard. Literally the only reason is FW never bothered to make the model. Also since mkiii is essentially up armored mkii, the jet pack mount site is probably the same. And if in the far future, the armor systems can't figure out how to adjust their vectors on an unstable platform (like how the avionics package in an f16 helps compensate for its inherently unstable design) then it was truly a dark age.
Jose Young
I love how much milage the HHG MAGA meme is getting.
Liam Morales
Thoroughly sick and tired of it myself. When did we become /pol/?
Gavin Reed
It's fresh OC and so long as there's no /pol/ discussion I don't see what's wrong with the memes.
Eli Edwards
The main thing stopping me from buying a Leviathan is how to load it up
I was considering a drop pod lev, but they're obviously out of the shop. What are my best routes?
Julian Foster
>modern education
Brayden Lewis
A mastodon.
Bentley Campbell
>fresh It really isn't. It's like all those sonic images people do, each particular image may be newly made, but it's still shoehorning sonic in wherever they can - there's no actual new joke beyond "look, it's sonic photoshopped with Thing".
Get Ben Kingsley to outflank it.
Christopher Ward
>must fulfill their compulsory HQ with Praetors or Centurions >must take one HQ per 1000 points I am the confuse.
David Rivera
Fuck yes. >those quotes >they kept the lion
Noah Evans
Compulsory HQ slot is already covered by the aforementioned Praetor or Centurion. Apply some common sense ffs.
Charles Foster
Yes, except Wolves have one compulsory slot per 1k points.
Jonathan Anderson
>Scale Class >IMMENSUS
Carson Walker
Except it never says one compulsory HQ per 1k pts in the entry.
David Morris
>turned status >UP TO ELEVEN
Isaiah Rodriguez
>MkIII can totes fly, u guis, it's not like it's terminator heavy. Nu-uh, shut up, don't bring physics into this!
If you don't want physics, don't bring up physics.
Retard.
Colton Gray
>must include Sounds compulsory to me.
Easton Fisher
Those Knights better get out of the way.
Easton Thomas
>Sounds compulsory to me. Explain how.
Daniel Edwards

Compulsory kəmˈpʌls(ə)ri adjective required by law or a rule; obligatory. "compulsory military service" synonyms: obligatory, mandatory, required, requisite, necessary, essential, statutory, prescribed;
You know FW didn't make up the word specifically for their rules right?
Jayden Cook
>price non-inclusive of weaponry and munitions stock
