Why I'm doing this?

Why do I started collecting cards?

If I used the time playing soccer, I'll be rich by now.

Endless repetitive tasks play with your sense of time.

All work and no fun...

>UEF, Aeon, Cybran, Seraphim

Such a comfy summer morning.

Too bad there's probably no art in high-res. Some of these are amazingly atmospheric.

Oh well, they'll still go on a Shadowrun drama cards well.

...

Just finished scanning the cards.

This are the beta cards, including the beta virtues that were scratchable.

Only two factions?

There's more beta cards.

But as far as I know they started with those two, as you can see corporation an abismal where the same thing.

This are the original cards, just printed prototypes.

This it's Mariposa, that rare card in second row right.

Rare cards and promo cards are extremely hard to find.

Distribution was good, but it's still an extremely obscure game that only lasted 3 years.

In three years they released four stories.

Evolution, deviants, suburbia and radix, In suburbia many characters got new cards.

I never understood this game too much. It was this weird era when Salo was trying to push more card games due to the popularity of MyL. There was one with dinosaurs too

Art is neat though. I really like the comic-esque and scribble-like arts.

>How to get kicked from Shadowrun game in 3 seconds after presenting a portrait: the art

It's the personal style of the game creator.

MyL cards have more traditional fantasy art, this was the alternative.

What is this Espanglish shizz?

Have a song by the most popular trash band from my town.

Here it's complete.

>pity bump

Noble.

But this game was obscure and underapreciated when it came out, I don't expect nothing different now.

This was something I wanted to do since a long time ago, and I had the perfect moment.

If at least a couple of people download it and saves it, my house can burn now, and the cards wouldn't be completely lost.

Art's nice, I'll keep a copy. Can't understand a word of the test though.

So what exactly is this game? What's it's story? Who are these four factions?

There's four factions.

Basic plot summary.

Demons are unleashed on the world somehow after WWII.

Specifically Moloch that's invoked by this Russian named guy, abismals are the demon's faction.

Chimera are the good side of that, includes all kind of lore creatures.

Corporation it's the transhumanist corporative faction, also people with jobs.

Acracia it's the anarchists, from crypto anarchists to Anarcho-primitivism and everything in between.

Acracia faction was started by Spartacus on 1945.

As a result of the portal being opened he saw the future, or something like that, I'm not sure, narration through the cards it's confusing.

Meanwhile Petrov Ivanovich was losing the rule of the demons to Baltazo, who is literally Hitler.

Bump and thank you, user. These are great.

Under Baltazo rule, things took a turn towards national socialism and the occult experimentation with technology.

This creates the corporation faction.

Corporation head it's the Avatar.

Goal it's a post-technological world, opposed to the Abismals and worshippers of the first one, some kind of elder god.

Chimera are your good guys, there's plenty of mythological creatures witches and wizards.

But in an urban setting like the rest of the game, the game it's set half way into a comic book universe and a card universe, I believe this it's completely on purpose, they wanted that merge.

Card format gives a lot of rope to develop an story, while at the same time gives you a chance to choose an outcome.

Cause nothing it's resolved in game, obviously.

Characters have small arcs on the cards, they had a full script, but never published it.

Instead they used parts of it for the cards the books that are really short, and the Qvil magazine comics, that are even shorter.

the game has this veru ineteresting way of presenting the world through the buildings.

You build you deck around your sanctuary.

All sanctuaries are one faction only, with this exception You can play any card, but card's and sanctuary's skills are related to factions, but there's only a few cross faction cards.

Last bump of the day.

I'm guessing it's basically impossible to buy this online?

There's people that sells them in Chile.
