why this, user?

Very non-subtle Seibah there.

I still am very pleased that you took the time to recreate my shitty MSpaint CYOA, even if it were just for the sake of irony like how I did it.

Was the disguised Saber a lowkey jab to all the Saberposting going on?

You have +15 opinion with the reformists, so their followers are free. You don't need to pay mana to recruit Cassandra or any of the other reformist followers.

>now there's a berserker Saber

Grand Order was a fucking mistake

Shuten Douji is a cute enough to forgive any crime

Because I really like it and the Original as well anons

I don't think I've seen this before. If it's not relatively new, it must be pretty old.

Latter.

No reason to look normal when my only job is to kill bandits and "protect" the merchant. With any luck, he'll either die from something I'm unable to "protect" him from or he'll like my services so much that he never decides to sell it or give it away.

Saber CYOA user here. I wanted to ask something since I'm adding the finishing touches.

I added an alignment chart bit using the standard lawful-chaotic and good-evil bits, but then I also added a personality trait part. Would you consider this to be redundant? Obviously personality traits are more specific, but at the same time I feel that it overlaps quite a bit. I'm adding the finishing touches and it'l probably be out next thread so I wanted to ask if I should just scrap the personality traits section and leave alignment as the sole deciding factor for personality.

Obviously, this only applies if you choose to make a saber rather than become one.

No, what if I want to make a kind but chaotic evil Saber?

Someone post that CYOA where women are giants and live in tribes and the men are normal sized and live in cities

Personality traits are important.

Fate alignments are even more of a joke than D&D alignments.

Keep traits

That's not how EX works.

You brought this up before. He doesn't give a fuck about your theoretical intent and is basing it on how it actually ends up being used.

It not redudant. Even if it was, depending on how it's organized, might help navigate throught the CYOA (for someone that doesn't want aligment X, for instance). But the personality trait it's more important than the aligment chart.

First, I've never posted that before or seen that WIP before. You're mistaking me for some other autist who's also right.

Second, if he's going to CYOA the mass of spergery that is F** then he'd damn well be ready to defend his decisions on his own, because he's inviting the sort of spergs who go 500 posts just debating if Zero Lancer could take Stay Night Lancer.

You're right, but putting "This cannot be quantified because it falls outside the numerical rankings" in the dozens different EX descriptions across parameter rating, class skill ratings, and personal ratings would be a lot less fun and more importantly less useful than just giving it a vague but powerful sounding description. I don't know what to tell you other than I'm sorry.

Why not put a "this is what EX means" box somewhere and make EX be a "choose your own snowflake bullshit" option?

Keep the traits on the alignments! Sounds like a fun and creative way to get more variety. I am looking forward to this CYOA so much! Lawful neutral Saber FTW!

Let's haul out my old build!

----
>Life with Plants, Enchanting, Summoning.

Custom enchanted and bred seeds that will grow in fabulous Trees. Trees that tap aquifers and give fresh filtered water, whose branches hang heavy with the fruit of youth, and which sprout nymph and druid teachers and guardians from their roots.
As they grow they will connect across the land, forming easy roads with friendly guides and canal ways for trade and travel. In time other wizards may add to the seeds, and specialized trees be built, but for the beginning, the goal is a world of plenty.
Plenty of Food, Shelter, and Friendly Fey.

Also as a note to any slayers or destructive wizards, life/immortality does not require the death of others, wizard or not. Any life wizard with enchanting can grant youth and additional lifespan, and my plan in particular will leave trees that grow a literal fruit of life and youth for anyone to eat.
---

At base, with just my efforts and talents, my Trees will still be incredible things. Sources of fresh water and varied nutrition to keep at least two people alive per tree, if not entire families healthy and hale. They will also prove to be ready sources of many plant based resources, textiles, medicines, and the like. Every tree will birth a Dryad to both tend it, and be a sort of intermediary between the humans living in/around the tree and the Tree itself. With a little coaxing the Tree will easily birth Nymphs/Satyrs for companionship and service/domestic labor, or Minotaurs and Sprites for defense. Lastly, every Tree shall of course spawn the fruit of life whenever it saves up a year of youth, granting it to whomever eats it.
The Fae will be loyal to the Humans that live around/within it to their Tree, to the Tree itself, and to Humanity in general, in that order.

With the help of other Wizards, carefully sought and paranoidly accepted, the Seeds and Trees may be enhanced and breed true.
>life
Fruits that cure disease, saps that mend the flesh, Healing will greatly benefit all and be easily worked into the Trees.
On top of that, Fruits that temporarily give a controllable form of 'lycanthropy' and allow the eater to take on animal forms.
Lastly, adding Animals to the seed of the tree would allow the Dryads of them to bring forth herds of beasts for further use, and fold things like spider silk and the like into the things the Trees can provide.

>Fire
Besides the simple and needed addition of making the Trees themselves fire resistant/immune, a good Fire Wizard can add much of value. Twigs that work as matches, combustible pinecones, Sap hardened into focusing crystals for lasers and flashlights with the natural bioluminescence. A hearth in every tree that easily burns hot enough to boil water or work metals, allowing industry an easy start.
>Water
Sources of cold are just as useful as sources of heat, and water magic would help be sure that the fresh water is truly purified. Blood might be able to help guide the healing fruit, but the main resource here is fruits that grant temporary water breathing, and the possibility of aquatic Trees in general, with Friendly Naiad tenders and mermaid guardians.

>Air
To control the weather itself, to bring about a true Eden of calm rains and sunny days to the world? What greater goal could there be for air? Perhaps the idea of a Tree that generates electricity, pouring it out through specialized roots to any who know how to tap it.

>Earth
Raw durability, along with the ability and urges to tap metal deposits within the earth, bringing them up for easy use. Naturally grown magnets, and much more easily built canals and structures, both above and below ground will be the heralds of earth.

>Death
A 'disease' that grants increased lifespan and rejuvenation, brought upon by willingly eating the right fruit. Trees that can store the spirits of the departed so that their wisdom is available for as long as they seek to remain within the Tree before passing on.

>Occult
Luck and fortune, forever useful and granted to the Trees themselves and all who shelter beneath them. Perhaps even the mental tricks could be added in, allowing for a biological internet of sorts...

>Slayers and Gamblers
Aside from the benefit that they themselves can give in person... I'm open to suggestions.
---

The Trees will defend themselves well, and have enough inertia that they'll survive my passing if a psycho gets me. Of course said psycho would have to get through the wild hunt and weaponized Cordyceps fungus, along with airborne neurotoxins and the like. Along with just finding me to begin with, since I'll keep a low profile.

yes put some personality traits and drawnbacks!

Terrorist Bloodmage plot, no doubt.

...

Life Wizard with Healing, Plant, and Enchanting specialties. I'll spend the rest of my youth wandering and exploring trying to learn as much as I can about different plants and cultivation techniques while trying to help people in need with healing magic. I'll try to make magic items where I can see them being helpful to people a charm to give an aging widow some more time to care for her children until they are grown enough to care for her and magic boots to repair themselves for the poor farmer who has to buy a new pair every few seasons which is a substantial hit to his meager savings. I'll make items for myself of course prolonging my life and my youth for as long as I can but as I feel my time come I'll find a small village and settle down using my remaining time to help the townsfolk and take on an apprentice to pass on what I've learned.

I'll fucking quote your fucking posts whenever the fuck I fucking feel like it. That's who the fuck I am you stupid fuck.

This is the closest thing I have.

Yukari a mega turbo slut

According to the creator, it's the same person who is behind the existence ending threat in At The Edge Of Time. My personal theory is that it's Saul having been horribly twisted by the Void, though other anons theorize that it might be the First Sinner or one of the villains from the Blood Mage CYOA.

Blood mages don't use ambient mana. It's someone using conventional magic.

Going for a new record eh?

In a closet, where else?

But that's where I keep everything that isn't skeletons.

Well alignment in Fate is from the perspective of the time period the character is summoned from. That's why Gilgamesh is(or was?) lawful good. His word was absolute law, so nothing he did or does is wrong.

This answers a lot of my questions but just leaves me more confused.

I thought this was pretty funny.

Cowboy
Cowgirl Emma
Mikey Hikaru

Anything specific? Are you asking for a way to incorporate both mechanics?

Is this even real life?

Where are the codes?

I just really like that one.

Me, too.

I'm not the guy, I just never understood why Gilgamesh was considered good.

Why is the samurai dove an item, and not a friend? I want to go on Adventurers with two Samurai, one of ancient tradition changed through Vengeance, and one of new ways on a quest for Glory.

Well now you know. Any other questions which I MIGHT be able to answer?

Is gilgamesh actually good?

>No Skeleton waifu

this is some bullshit.

That truly depends on what you mean as good. He is good by the standards of where and when he's from, which was practically a different world with different thinking. In the modern world he's summoned into and by its standards? No, but he does very rarely show a soft spot to a select few that shows he's capable of basic human decency and emotional attachments. Also, he was a pure cinnamon roll as a child and would have fitted in with us perfectly.

Also note that the summoned Gilgamesh is from the middle of his reign as king before he eventually mellowed out and become a wise and caring ruler. I suppose that moment is when the world's definition of "good" changed.

user, everyone has skeletons in their closet...
