"The story behind Crack the Skyeis a very complex, spiritual one. It begins with a paraplegic boy who goes out of his body, through the method of astral traveling, into outer space. He goes too close to the sun, burning off the golden umbilical cord that is attached to his solar plexus. So, he is in outer space and he is lost. He gets sucked into a wormhole, where he ends up in the spirit realm and talks to spirits, telling them that he is not really dead. They send him to a Russian cult that uses him in a divination and find out his problem. The cult decides they will help him by putting his soul inside Rasputin’s body. Rasputin goes to usurp the Russian Czar and he is murdered. The two souls fly out of Rasputin’s body through the crack in the sky(e). Rasputin is the wise man who is trying to lead the child back home to his body because by now his parents have found him and think that he is dead. Rasputin needs to get the boy back into his body before it’s too late. But they end up running into the Devil along the way and the Devil tries to steal their souls and bring them down. The story ends as somewhat of a cliffhanger with the thirteen minute epic song entitled “The Last Baron.”"
So folks: a campaign based off of the premise of this album, wherein everyone is a cripple and they've used astral projection in order to send their spirits out into the world to learn, and end up sucked into wormholes into a "spirit realm" so to speak, whereupon they must figure out how to escape! It could be weird. And fun!

Because the "sword and pistol" swashbuckler build I keep wanting to run for a frog race is just fucked. Way too MAD, way too feat-thirsty, and it really doesn't use the race very well.

I am curious what you think of the changes to Solomon.
Honestly I was not satisfied with it. The character was originally going to be another, an anti-paladin rather than a paladin. I changed it because in WotR being the only NE applicant and being an anti-paladin who isn't a tyrant makes life difficult for his selection. Because his alignment, personality, and personal history were pretty tied together I had to rework it entirely. A lot of the stuff that carried over didn't fit the new character, so I have been pruning it as time goes. Honestly I am still unsure of it. Of all my characters I would say this one is the weakest. It is one of the reasons I have considered scrapping it entirely for a new one.
Don't take it personally user, its just that people were already invested in poring over the existing character when he was posted.
He'll probably get some attention when they realize that more apps were added to the lineup.
I hope that there's a last week wave of apps. I really hope one of the final day apps gets picked for the reactions.
Man, the DM didn't want this game to pick up any hype but a month and a half of waiting is really making people jump over it now that we're close to deadline.
If you don't want hype, then DEAR FUCKING GOD, DON'T RUN APPLICATIONS FOR A MONTH AND HOST AN IRC CHANNEL FOR A WHOLE COMMUNITY TO POP UP.
It's fairly inexcusable to complain about hype when you engineered it for hype.

To be fair, he wasn't advertising his game very much compared to say, shattered star and that assassin game.
I guess people got into it because the competition was so fierce or at least the cast was pretty diverse.

I dunno, Feiya is pretty top tier but there are a lot othe qts in there that people gravitate towards. Personally I like Adowyn, but Jirelle, Lirianne and Nyctessa are also pretty good.
Rivani would by my fav 2 fuk but her bio is so fucking obnoxious that it ruins he otherwise 10/10 vudran aesthetic.

Arachna for RoTJR. They actually ended up getting into the game, which was really baffling to me, because I thought the app was so bizarre and off the wall that it had to be a joke.

Man, I'm not even applying for Wrath of the Raunchy but looking over the character apps just makes me want to develop my PC is another game more. Some of these backstories and personalities are really good.

Well, there are many horrific apps left and right, so I'll just put up what I thought was the worst for Dragongame. This is directly copypasted from the app itself as is only appropriate: The spelling, the first-person style, hell even the combination of brevity and long-windedness... It's all bad!

The character quality for Wrath of the Raunchy is way above what you'd expect from a game called Wrath of the Raunchy.
I don't think that one furry that applies to everything even applied.

It's funny because I find the general quality level and competition intimidating even though, like I said, I'm not applying for that game. That and the short reviews/critiques of the characters are making me want to step up my own game.
Even for all the bitching and saltiness it can bring, I think /pfg/ is way more interesting when it's fascinated with an approaching game.

When you hang out in pfg long enough, you start to develop a sense for detecting bamboozle games.
I'm debating between School Savant Sphere Arcanist, Sphere Arcanist, and Exploiter Wizard, and figuring out what to do with my two formerly Landsknecht levels now that Strength of Arms 1.5 dex to damage is out.
