Your bbeg has now won. Conquered the world, killed off the party, or whatever he was trying to do in the first place. However there is one problem. He has either completely forgotten what he was going to do after that initial goal of conquering the world/killing the party/taking over the megacorp/whateverthefuckelse has no clue what he's going to actually do with the world/dead party/megacorp/whatever.
How does this affect him and the world around him? How does this story go for him?
>Conquer world >Forgot why He'd abdictate. This a bad thread though, as without their prior motivations most would probably just settle down and live out their lives in peace or get killed as revenge for something they did but have since forgotton why

Hastur just kind of sits there for a bit, driving everyone within a few dozen miles but not actually moving or remembering to go turning people inside out or flaying them or anything like that.
Eventually the stars aren't right and he leaves.

So he's going to force some poor schlub to be his replacement ruler of the now-devastated land?

Well yeah, he's here but he's got damn reason to be there

His goal was to literally unmake the world and make a "better" one (all cuz his boyfriend died lol).
After making a world "where heroes aren't needed" (he used to be greatest hero in the world; now he's just a huge dick), he'd probably try to find a way to finally die. He's 750-ish years old. Man was not meant to live that long in anguish.
Failing that, he would lament endlessly at having destroyed everything and having created a world pretty much without conflict. It would be a place without monsters, without the glory seeking that got his buddy killed.
It would be, in essence, incredibly boring. Maybe he would become that world's monster and hope to finally be put to rest by its greatest hero.
He's a pretty sad dude.

He was created by a group of magical scientist who stated arguing, he was then turned on them by a scientist who defected. Without any change to his programing it was left on "make people fuck themselves into extinction." so assuming he won he'd have no directive and either revert back to his old directive (to guard shit) or would self terminate.
Henry Gray
Actually, that is his plan. He's part of a cabal that will use the most powerful magical focus ever developed in the setting and a 13th-level epic spell cast by some of the world's greatest magic-users and one woman specifically born for the purpose of leading the spell circle to retroactively change the world into the members' ideal state. Basically, they're building the world's biggest 'I win' button, which if ever pressed will make their dreams reality retroactively and eliminate their memories of the event, so they can completely forget about all the horrible things they had to do to reshape the world in their image. If they win, their next step is just to live their lives completely ignorant of their disregard for continuity, accountability, or reprecussions.
Cooper Diaz
He's moralistically challenged, has some real empathy issues, lacks some basic social skills and tries to stab someone in the back who just saved his life after he tried to kill them originally.
Yes, he was the villain of the story and he was a bad guy in general.

Our BBEG is a powerful Demon who's only plan is to open a gateway from the Demon Realm to Earth. She has no plan outside of that and even taking down the heroes is entirely secondary to her goal. Because of this several encounters between her and us ended somewhat peacefully as she'll cut her losses and leave when it's clear her current plan is going to be to costly. Frankly she's more a reoccuring saturday morning villain then an actual 'big bad evil girl'.
On victory, she'll likely set up a toll-booth at the gate and charge entry fees. Earth is in trouble if she's managed to kill off all the worlds heroes. While armed forces could hold off mook demons, we're talking multiple tanks to stop a tourist. The moment anyone even slightly up the ladder comes through, earth is fucked. However, should there still be enough heroes around to defend Earth, then it'll be a drawn-out battle over the gate itself untill heaven itself is finally forced to intervene. It may end up in a surreal scenario where Earth becomes a travel interchange between the inner world and the outer world, all the while our short-sighted demon villainess is making a mint charging tolls.

Prince Mathias Valito succeeds in his coup, killing his father and taking the throne for himself by use of magic. The party of heroes is split, with the male members being sent to a dimensional prison with no hope of escape, while the females are magically bound and placed as the first members of his harem.
Having forgotten his future plans, paranoia sets in and he executes everyone else involved in the coup, he himself doing the executing sometimes. He then outlaws every form of magic in the kingdom and subsequently becomes the most powerful being in the land through the abuse of magics beyond him. A hedonistic and destructive reign ensues, wherein fear is rampant and any form of rebellion is stomped out immediately, even little things such as speaking badly of the King. As such, internal strife is at an all time high, with Mathias so far above everything that he doesn't see the kingdom withering away under his tyranny.
The (Lawful Evil) Empire to the North, and originally minor villain that had long since wanted to annex the kingdom, see their chance and bring their full might to bear, using superior technology to obliterate Mathias with the full support of his own kingdom.
The Kingdom is annexed to the Empire and the Heroes are freed. Though they had past issues with the Empire, they're let off the hook considering time spent, and they go their separate ways. Most to therapy.
The Empire leads a harsh but fair rule that the people adapt to, later on welcoming it when tithes and financial penalties are dropped some years later.
And then everyone lives happily ever after, etc. etc.

She convinces her younger self that being the Queen of Evil is a foregone conclusion before she returns to the future. All the heroes are safe, confused and unsure what to do with little miss hitler. They finally decide to be good friends with her to try and change her mind, otherwise leave well enough alone.
Many years later, the BBEG cares to much about her friends that she's stuck in a cold war scenario with them. Concluding that she cares to much because she was never fully invested in the whole BBEG schtick, she goes back in time to convince her younger self to be the best BBEG around.

Belle was always pretty independent and adventurous. I can't see why she would conceivably stick around and marry that twat. She'd steal a horse and ride hell for leather until even he was forced to concede he just wasn't going to see her ever again.
Her father would also have to consent anyways, and he probably wouldn't assuming she truly disliked him that much. She might also join a nunnery or something at worst. Willful women had ways to say "nope" to marriage.

> Mr. Vincenzo, Team Rocket Mafia Leader, Objective was to avenge daughter who was an operative disfigured by the PCs
Probably attack, both legally and not, both covertly and in the open, the organization that send 10 years old boys unsupervised in the wild with overpowered supernatural battle-hardened slaves.
> CramGalaek, 2nd Gen Nephilim Pureblood, currently the PC's employers, have found one of those mystical ancient "humans".
If he suddenly forgot he wanted to torture the cryo-stasis human(s) for insight into their hyper-advanced technology, he would probably safeguard the human, if only for the immense value it would have, a bit like an action figure in its original wrapping.
This would create a tremendous political shift, tho.
Jaxon Gray
>Her father would also have to consent That's likely part of why Gaston has him committed to the asylum. Then Belle's father has no legal standing and Belle can be coerced into marriage much easier.
