How hard would it be to retool Age of Rebellion to work in the Clone Wars era? I've got an adventure planned out that involves piecing together/playing the story of a squad of clone commandos that died at the end of the war and it would involve a lot of weapons, vehicles and droids I don't think I've seen statted.
Mason Walker
>and it would involve a lot of weapons, vehicles and droids I don't think I've seen statted. Well, what do you need?
Jace Kelly
Gotta shoot first son
Nicholas Green
Weapons are easy, carbines are carbines, rifles are rifles, pistols are pistols. Making some unique ones might be an issue, but hell, just take some Civil War era guns and reduce their mark numbers by a few increments.
As for generic droids, you could easily just refluff some combat droids, and stormtroopers become clones.
Vehicles again you could pretty easily just pick like-for-like for a lot of them
Nolan Myers
SWG i saw a sneaky game post last thread, and there was a reply to it that talked about the players being deep cover agents watching out for the Discovery of Echo base.
I liked that idea, amd i want to incorporate it into my game/group, but i have a problem:
How exactly does one get into the imperial navy fast enough to be usefull without walking up to a recruiter? The players are wanted and the beuaracracy of the Empire means that at some point a background check would have to be performed, so how could the go about forging IDs? Or how would you have them disguise themselves as someone else (han and luke style) and how would they be able to keep pretending to be that person?
Any opinions appreciated.
Kevin Lopez
Identity theft or fraud wouldn't be too hard.
The party are the graduating class from the best university on Besaris way out in the outer rim. Sure the university isn't all that prestigious but they pride themselves on training good spacers!
The university's systems are also much easier to slice new details into. Tadah they're now on the latest graduating academy hopefuls list, shipping straight to Imperial Naval Academy. I hope their deception checks are up to par

Did any of you fa/tg/uys read Empires End yet? How did you feel about Sheev's keikaku?
Brayden Cook
>Reading anything by Wendig I haven't. I don't think I ever plan on touching anything else he's written. Can you provide a quick rundown?
Ryan Hill
Not hard. B1 battle droids are stated out in Edge. The Chronicals of the Gatekeeper has commando droids and droidekas. One of the soldier splat books has the stats for LAAT gunships. A lot of this stuff is already fleshed out, you just need to check through one of the online compendiums.
Landon Stewart
I think the Sheev plan fitted into who he was, and it's a good explanation of the post Endor folding up. I liked it. We really should have gotten the info in the first book though. It's not that fancy a reveal.
This one was underwhelming but I appreciate the lore added, Norra and Temmin are still grating characters, Sinjir still isn't as awesome as Chuck reckons he is. The Senate shenanigans seemed unnecessary and tacked on. Zhe isn't well executed but is an interesting concept.
Jakku was a meh fight, Unifying Force did a big battle better.

There is a grey side of the force Sheev's flagship the eclipse is canon Sheev is a sore loser Snoke has been calling to Sheev from the unknown regions Sheev wanted Jakku to be the final battle He wanted the empire to destroy itself and the Republic

He tries not to think about how this is the place where he is going to die—or, in Brin’s words, where he will join soon with the living Force, all hail the light, the dark, and the gray.
Cooper Rodriguez

Christian Hall
We've known since the first Aftermath book (if not earlier, I don't remember) that Palpatine has been searching for the source of the dark side, somewhere beyond the edge of the galaxy.
Whether that was actually Snoke or if it was something else and Snoke showed up to take control of things is yet to be known.
But given that he was supposedly messing with Ben Solo/Kylo Ren while he was still in Leia's womb, it's entirely possible.
Doesn't mean that Palpatine wasn't the big bad, it just means that there are other dark siders out there with similar levels of power.
Does not mean that there actually is a gray side. Just means that some people think that there is.
Does not state that there is a gray side, only that they use both sides without leaning either way.
Robert Roberts
Sheev said the galaxy is like chess with him as its king. He says that if the king falls the game is over despite how many pieces are left. He believed that if he died than the empire failed him and doesn't derserve to live. His failsafe was Jakku a planet that had an observation post designed to spy on unknown regions where Snoke is. Anyway the final battle between the rebels and empire was to be fought on Jakku than the planet was to be blown up wiping out both sides. The strongest members of the empire were to flee to the unknown regions to form the First Order.
Kayden Martinez
-Sheev clones bow to Mofference -In contact with Yuuzhan-Vong -Possess Force-like abilities -Control the Empire with an iron but fair Glove of Darth Vader -Own Moffships & planets globally -Direct descendants of the ancient Sith blood line -Will bankroll the first cities on Mortis (Moffopolis will be be the first city) -Own 99% of DNA editing research facilities on Kamino -First designer babies will in all likelihood be Trioculus babies -All Moffs said to have 215+ IQ, such intelligence on Coruscant has only existed deep in Jedi Temples & Lusankya -Ancient Rakata scriptures tell of two Starforges who will descend upon the Galaxy and will bring an era of enlightenment and unprecedented technological progress with them -They own Sienar R&D labs around the galaxy -You likely have TIE Fighters inside you right now -The Mofference is in regular communication with the Prophets Kadann and Jedgar, forwarding the word of Dark Greetings to the Nightsisters of Dathomir. Who do you think set up the meeting between the Prophets of the Dark Side & the Sorcerers of Tund (First meeting between the two organisations in over 1000 years) and arranged the Tund leader’s first trip to the Centrality in history literally a few days later to the Star Cave of ThonBoka? -They learned fluent Shyriiwook in under a week -Planetary governments entrust their credit reserves with the Mofference. There’s no holocrons in Ossus, only Ft. Moffort -The Moffs are about 7 decades old, from the space-time reference point of the base human currently accepted by our society -In reality, they are timeless beings existing in all points of time and space from the big bang to the end of the Expanded Universe. We don’t know their ultimate plans yet. We hope they’re benevolent beings.
Easton Morris
Who came up with the name "First Order," anyway? Not only is it bland as fuck, it's nonsensical. What about them is "First?" Their tech is derivative, their doctrine is derivative, their iconography is derivative, their main Force-sensitive enforcer is trying to emulate a predecessor, and countless people have used the Dark Side before them. Said Force-sensitive enforcer also uses a lightsaber that is based on previously existing designs, so he hasn't innovated there, either.
Christian Williams
I assume it's supposed to mean, that they are the First among many, or rather The Best of The Best.
Nathan Allen
>Tribogulus posting What a time to be alive.
Brandon Smith
It was Palpatine's first order for the strongest of the Imperial military to leave via Jakku and form a new empire in the Unknown Regions. As in, of his many contingency orders upon his death, that was his first.
This new empire is therefore the embodiment of his first order. It is, as such, called The First Order.
Kevin Davis
Oh so I was half right?
Cameron Bennett
Eh, still sounds like a pretty bland explanation for a pretty bland name. Nucanon's writers could have done a better job in the cool name department. "Resistance" and "First Order" aren't exactly catchy.
Josiah Jones
Also forgot there are new independent powers in the galaxy for example The New Separatist Union Confederacy of Corporate Systems Sovereign Latitudes (they are a bunch of shitty pirates led by a trans)
Juan Harris
I'd forgive Disney everything if we get an independant Corellia lead by the man himself.
MAKE CORELLIA GREAT AGAIN!
Colton Anderson
I know the Corporate Sector is Canon but
Are there Hapans? Centrality? Tion Hegemony?
Mason Rivera
Nope

FUCK
Zachary Scott
For what it's worth, although those factions haven't been explicitly mentioned (Tion has, but that's it) Pablo recently stated that the galaxy map is essentially unchanged from its Legends incarnation to its canon one - obviously the canon map includes the new canon planets, but it also doesn't include Zenoma Sekot, the Vong world.
James Stewart
>The New Separatist Union >Confederacy of Corporate Systems That's just being lazy.
I'd love to see Garm take over Corellia and lead a coalition of planets, privateers, volunteers, and Legends holdovers to bitch-slap the First Order and take the fight to them. >Booster Terrik,Talon Karrde, and Lando gathering the Smuggler's Alliance under the Corellian banner >Hobbie, Wes, and Tycho bringing volunteers from Ralltiir, Taanab, and the Alderaanian diaspora >T-65s flying with Rogue insignia and an Antilles at the helm >Pellaeon bringing Chimaera, Baron Fel, and the 181st to show those FO poseurs how it's really done
Asher Price

They're in forged in battle
+1 Agi -1 Pre and get an ability that pretty much is spend three strain to force leap
Caleb Cook
3 strain is way too much of a cost imo. So is how much advantage it takes to use the helmets boomerang effect.
Parker Baker
Three advantage to make it come back to you.
Grayson Brown
Too much especially when shit like autofire only costs 2
Nolan Garcia

I will post this ship every thread until you chucklefucks love it.

So a match today ended in a draw with the following lists: Me: >Ahsoka Tano (18) >Sabine Wren (TIE version) (14 + 1) *EPT - Veteran Instincts (1) >Captain Rex (14) >Zeb Orrelios (13) >2x Prototype Pilot (17 + 3) *Proton Rockets (3)
Opponent was running Tycho w/ Rage and PTL, as well as Proton Rockets; Jake Farrell with Proton Rockets (don't remember talents or mod), and Sabine Wren (shuttle version) with Chewie Crew, PTL, and Autoblaster turret
Any suggestions on my list? I figure it had potential as a swarmy list. I learned these TIEs are particularly fragile though (possibly even more so than the Empire TIEs)
Easton Nelson
Ayy that's pretty good
Ryan King
Hey, I like it. It feels like the kind of ship WEG would give the players for a 2-3 part adventure, or that a friendly minor character would give a main character a ride in in a Del Ray book, and I say that in the best way. It feels like a Star Wars ship, an adventure ship, and that's what it should feel like
Lincoln Martin
I can't wait for the C-ROC. Anybody got any cool build ideas?
Check out forged in battle. Both their helmet and energy crossbow are in it
Nolan Perry
Embo's weapon is just a wookie bowcaster. The energy bow is more like a ballistae that is mounted on a speeder or large riding beast.
Adrian King
As all Asian wives should be, at any time possible. Best position.
Sebastian Gray
>Well, it looks pretty good when she's bent over. Hell, I don't think there's one ass in a hundred don't look good that way
Zachary Sanders
Is it mentioned anywhere why the Empire ran to a shithole like Jakku after losing Endor?
David Thomas
You are so, so wrong.
Carter Hall
The Emperor ordered, Picard made it so.
William Wright
Because Jakku was where the "observatory" was, housing Sheev's ancient mechanism to plot a path into the Unknown Regions.
Jakku is described as having not always been a shithole, instead having been lush with life a long, long time ago. But the planet is dying. And there was supposed to have been some weird dark Force ritual where the "spark" of the planet was extinguished by Rax throwing one of Sheev's sycophants down a well into the core. But Rae Sloane killed Rax and sealed the well, or something.
That was supposed to have destroyed Jakku and with it, both the old Imperial Fleet and the fledgling New Republic. But she saved the galaxy from that fate.
Meanwhile, the strongest parts of the Imperial military were supposed to retreat from Jakku, through the path opened by that observatory mechanism, and begin a new Empire. That part still happened, despite the rest of the plan not quite going off.
