Every beholder is different, and that's a good thing. How would we tell the good ones from the bad ones otherwise?
First off, how big is our beholder? Roll 2d6 to decide!
Every beholder is different, and that's a good thing. How would we tell the good ones from the bad ones otherwise?
First off, how big is our beholder? Roll 2d6 to decide!
Rolled 2, 1 = 3 (2d6)
So our beholder is about 4 and a half feet wide. A little smaller than average, but that's fine. What's its skin color? Roll a d12
Rolled 8 (1d12)
Rolled 4 (1d12)
Roll table thread? Roll table thread!
Oooh, purple-blue skin. Very fabulous.
But what's the texture of their skin? Roll a d10 to find out!
/roll 1d10
Rolled 9 (1d10)
So their skin is pretty warty. Kind of gross, but we gave up on cuteness when we decided to make a beholder.
What color are its eyes? Roll a d10
Rolled 1 (1d10)
HOT
PINK
While not hot pink, they are red, which does go well with its purpley-blue skin
What shape are its irises? Roll a d20
Rolled 13 (1d20)
Its irises resemble a slit, like a cat or reptile.
How big is its central eye? Roll 2d6
Rolled 6, 4 = 10 (2d6)
So its main eye is 25% bigger than usual. How about its little eyes? Roll 2d6
Rolled 5, 4 = 9 (2d6)
dice
Little eyes are normal size, which makes them look even smaller in comparison to the large central eye.
What about the eyestalk texture and shape? Give me a d6 and a d4
Rolled 4 + 1 (1d4 + 1)
I fucked that one up.
That's fine, at least that makes his eyestalks thin and long. Give me a d6 for their texture
Rolled 4 (1d6)
Watching.
Since this is from Volo's guide I could continue in absence of OP.
It's eyestalk shape is ridged like an earthworm.
Now how about it's mouth shape and size? Give me a d6.
Rolled 3 (1d6)
It has a normal sized and shaped mouth.
What about it's teeth? What shape are it's teeth?
Roll me a d10.
