Hello citizens of New Texas. As you all know, after the invasion of the alien menace, over half of our fellow heroes have fallen bravely and selflessly to fend off their gene-altering technology, grotesquely experiment on the powered and powerless alike. God rest their souls.
But, through their unfortunate sacrifice, a resurgence of new powered individuals has risen. With your powers, we can help build our broken country from volunteer work to and defending the innocent from the villians still picking off our remains.
So, do you have what it takes to join me, True Victor and the rest of the Victors?
ORrrrr you can join the Rad Guys? New Texas is easy pickings now that the world decided to shit on itself. Join us, do your share, and get a cut of the profit.
If not, fine. No problem for us. Just another Victim for Mr.Scoreboard.
Clearly I've got to be the cute penguin mascot for the Victors. Super-name, super-name... maybe Rockhopper? Too nonindicative. Snowflake? Maybe, keep that one bookmarked. Winterwind? Maybe.
So I can create various super-gels with my hyper smart brain, and then manipulate them to do my bidding.
Oliver Cruz
I can't do good or bad, What do I do?
Gavin Davis
Then you two are considered vigilantes.
Even if you choose a normal life, you're still Powered. The True Victors will have to restrain you due to.. "precautions." Whereas the Rad Guys have capabilities to enslave you to their bidding. If you happen to break their control, then you're dead.
OP here, gonna be a drag and ask you to roll a 1d100 because God.
No matter your roll, your powers are still a force to reckon with. In fact, so far you're the only one that can start a new Super Organization if you'd like. Just need some neutral powers to join you.
Samuel Harris
>pure soul >fortitude weakening I am Evil Smasher. Not to be confused with the nefarious villian Evil Crusher. I smash evil, not for evil.
Um, okay... So I can shoot Bolts of bad luck at things and I know the answers to most every question. I can also perceive the past, present, and future simultaneously. So I know where I need to be and what I need to do at all times. I use my Probability Attack to move outcomes into my favor. I'll join the True Victors because I'd like to see humanity survive.
It seems as though some of the alien's work still lays in the midst of the human populace. But this breed of alien appeared to meld their genes with humans. Careful, they all have the capabilities to stop and suppress powers.
The Victors: Roll 1d20. This determines how well you do in stopping the crisis. You're looking for a collective total of 40.
Rad Guys: Roll 1d20. This determines how well you take advantage of the crisis. You're looking for a collective total of 40.
Vigilantes: Whether you choose to help the cause or disrupt it is the same as above, 1d20 for a pool of 40. But since you're not affiliated with either side, you're own pool may dwindle depending on how you split sides.
Jackson King
Appropriate name?

>User can release beams of pure solidified energy that causes concussive damage, with effects ranging from slight push, hard hit, knock-out, minor and major damage, shattering and up to total annihilation of the target.
>Users may even learn to control the movements of their beams such as making them go in straight lines, curve, twist, turn, bend, as well as follow and lock onto targets to really long-range with proficient accuracy and marksmanship.
Cannonade declares for The Victors! Let the villains fear my Justice Beams!
Jason Diaz

Adam Cruz
>Transcendent Homo Superior Physiology Mhh, I think you'll bow to me. Also Telapthic Mimicry, but eh.
My powers may not be the strongest, but most of you are useless if you can't tell where I am. Preceded by the incessant complaining of my smart-mouthed wings, I am Whinge Commander! For justice!
Nolan Green
How do you roll again?
Brody Evans
5 12 1 15 9 Victors with 42/40 SUCCESS You drove back the hum-game experiments in no time flat! No you can focus on your other problens.
17 Rad Guys 17/40 Rad Guys need to pull it together. They're currently disorganized in their plans deciding between looting, scheming and carnage.
10 minutes to roll before phase 2 begins.
Jordan Sullivan
Sticky on the front pagend, hombre.
But type 1d20 in the Options field in this case.
William Cooper
"dice+2d6" without the quotes in the option field rolls 2d6. "dice+5d42+23" rolls 5d42+23. "noko+dice+2d6" rolls 2d6 without showing the roll in the options field.
Jackson Walker
Holy crud, we won that one by the skin of our teeth.
Elijah Reed
That was no help at all. Just tell the board so we can get started, PROPERLY THIS TIME.
Well now I can properly check how powerful I am. Thanks.
Ian Thomas
you want to type "noko+dice+1d20" in the option field
Bentley Butler
The Rad Guys: The chaos was not in your favor. Whatever plans you had were thwarted by a menace greater than yourself. Somehow, they managed to find your lair and started growing these strange luminescent bulbs. Whatever it is, it needs to get the hell out. >Roll 1d20 to be a DC (dice check) of 25 to dispose of the aliens. Whether you want to investigate the bulbs or not comes after a SUCCESS.
The Victors: Winning the small score was nothing. Being ahead of the game, you noticed a traction of the mutated species carrying the glowing bulbs from the populace and into the underground. >Roll 1d20 to be a DC (dice check) of 55 to dispose of the aliens. Whether you want to investigate the bulbs or not comes after a SUCCESS.
Caleb Brown

Rolled 16 (1d20)
Yay I can use my powers again, fucking aliens man Also, Victors, this isn't me joining your team, just because I'm good, doesn't mean I want the government breathing down my neck and have to follow orders and shit.
(Aye, I know that, but I want to make it clear to them that I'm an independent party)
David Thompson
The Victors would have some words with you then, after all of this is over of course.
Choose your words wisely.
Ian Walker
Rolled 10 (1d20)
I lift my gaze to the heavens and project a fleet of heavily armed dirigibles with Justice beams from my eyes! The Air Fleet of Pure Justice rains fury down upon the filthy aliens!
I admit I rerolled after getting "Absolute Existence" as an result because screw that.
Anyway I am the Dawn. The Lightt and the Darkness. I promise to not be an edgelord and join the Victors and enthusiastically defend justice!
Caleb Brown
Quick, roll a d20!
Jason Sullivan
Ill do my best
Luis Barnes
You should probably roll..
Also, since no one appears to be joining the Rad Guys, should I play as one or scrap them entirely?

48/55 for the Victors FAILURE: The deeper the Victors tried to dig into the underground, the more convoluted and crowded the digniting became. From the walls and ceilings emerged the Hum-game blocking the path. Before you had the chance to get swarmed, you chose a tactical retreat was your best resort. Failing this cause the mutant species to collapse the smaller buildings into the earth itself, fortifying their new underground base.
18/25 for the Rad Guys FAILURE: The Rad Guys were arguing amongst themselves as their powers started jamming and soon, they're were fighting amongst themselves. The aliens subdued some of the weaker members and carried them off underground. The rest of the "team" ran out, barely escaping their crumbling base falling into the earth.
>You guys must now discuss a plan of action. >Put in a small suggestion on what to do next as well as who're you allied with for a roll call.
I am the Chevalier of Chronology, the Templar of the Temporal. I traverse the length and depth of the countless branching timestreams, safeguarding all that is and is not from the never-present threat of temporal anomalies and chronological aberrations. I adjust that which must be adjusted to maintain causality, lest the terrifyingly thin barriers of what you call reality be torn down and afford THEM entry.
Juan Roberts
Didn't mean to. Just tired of power threads happening and that's all we get. Powers with no act to use them.
Honestly, should this be on Veeky Forums, /qst/, or /trash/?
Call myself something nature themed like Apex or Darwin
Then just go ahead and call myself nature themed and avoid revealing that I can eat people and copy them and stick to eating animals, and plants then doing stuff like sinking into plants and coming out in unexpected places to strike people with a bear claw or tank hits with skin like hardwood.
Noah Jones
I don't know this was fun, I got elevated into a god by pure luck.
First try, I'm serious.
And I'm still moderately powerful.
Please don't leave.
Jaxon Price
Top dog, Alpha, King of the jungle etc.
Samuel Martin
We'll even if I wanted to continue, which I still do, I need at least 6 people to continue the story.
