Female knight is lewdly dressed

>Female knight is lewdly dressed
>everyone throws a hissy fit about muh historical accuracy
>Wizard is almost buck naked
>That's cool
Why

Joke's on you, user, in my campaign everyone is half-naked.
Even males.
Especially males.

It's still trash, just slightly less trash because a wizard probably isn't planning on running straight into melee range

Wizard's don't customarily rely on a thick coat of metal between them and danger to survive, while knights customarily do. Wizards are also inherently not historically in their usual form, so the complaint would ring hollow.

We had a campaign where we had to come up with the edgiest shit we could, so I had a hexblade female drow with a liger familiar, clad in a glamered armor so she looked like she was wearing 20 square centimeters of fabric.

Wizards are easier to rape. They complain because the female knight is still harder to rape & thus showing off her body is nothing but a painful remind. The wizards are kind enough to ensure their goods are on display for AND be available to use.

Huh, I thought wizardly magic was too mighty for such willworkers to reasonably be subject to anything to which they don't consent.

Sorcery and sexuality are tightly linked.

Alastair Crowley had a lot of magick techniques centered around orgasm.

user, have you read about how sexualized ancient shit is? Especially Egyptian stuff. Wizards practically throw fireballs through masturbating. Wizards want to get fucked.

In the world of porn, power of the D trumps all, magic or mundane.

I don't think you understand what "edgy" means. That's certainly a success at making a nonsensically juvenile character, but unless she had an X-shaped scar on her face and was hunting for the man who killed her father that's a swing and a miss on "edgy".

But if they wanted it, it wouldn't be rape and they wouldn't be complaining and being painfully reminded of it and so on, would they?

Issue these until the problem is fixed

>skillfully deflects a sword blow with a steel nipple pastie
>arrow clangs pathetically against an enchanted mithril thong, failing to penetrate

Yeah, I hate it when my players don't care about making their wizards historically accurate. All the REAL men and women who could generate gouts of fire and summon extra-planar entities did so in perfectly modest attire.

Because there's no "historical accuracy" about wizardry shit and magic is basically "tear apart the laws and fabric of reality" so you can do almost everything with it.
A wizard is also treated as a caster and will always stay out of melee range, while knights have to counter sword strikes.

>Female knight dresses in a thong
>She's a slut

>Male knight dresses in a thong
>He's a faggot

Something, something, OSR, something, something, Barsoom?

Hot

weeeeeeeell
...yes. Let's say yes.

...

Realisticaly bows would be absolutely slaughtering half naked mages if they were a thing. Even sub standard 40 lb draw weight small game hunting bows made without tools would be lethal at range against naked mages.

hot faggot tho

>realistically

>implying the first thing a mage would learn wouldn't be some sort of magical shield

He's also a slut.

All because they want it doesn't mean its available or perfect.

By your logic, the first spell any apprentice wizard learns is Wish, thus ending their need to ever learn any other spell ever.

I feel like I am reading some Free Cities text

Systems that have wish spells are retarded.

I'll include resurrection, teleportation, and temporal magic in that list as well.

I'd rather have a setting where there aren't giant gaping plotholes everywhere.

>A simple protection spell is basically the same as a 'do whatever I want' spell, which is definitely just as easy to get in all systems.

That's why they're naked.

>not deriving magical power from lewd clothing

> a simple genie binding spell is somehow more complex than a spell that makes you invulnerable to weapons and can negate any number of ranged or melee attacks

Look at this guy, he can't even talk to spirits! Point at him and laugh!

the thing about armor is it works even when you aren't aware of being attacked, and requires no wind up time to prepare once worn, and doesn't require focus or concentration to use.

Every gram of foreign material on the wizards body is actively hindering him doing magic in the system I'm playing. That's why difficult rituals are almost only done with body paint and wizards in public only wear light robes.

Clothes don't have to cover most of the body armor does

Why not.

As with clothing in general you can ignore it unless you need it for protection, either from physical harm, or exposure from the elements, or for social norms.

If you can come up with reasons for wizards to get around these with such ease that wearing clothing becomes a hindrance then it makes sense for wizards to go around naked.

Unless you make casting magic trivially easy and utilitarian in nature then you likely can't get around these things. Especially the protection part when you place mages into combat roles in your worlds.

This bothered me too when I was playing Dragon's Dogma. I tried really hard to cover my mage pawn in as much actual armour as I could, but that limited my selection to two shirts and two trousers that each incorporated chainmail, and forced me to pretend that a shitty rag is a poor man's surcoat.
Maximising skin exposure despite full armour would have been much, much easier, not to mention all the bathrobes.

>despite full armour
full armour slots, I mean

Point.

Your Head.

Let's be fair here.

If you see someone running around buck naked, and you know they're a spellcaster of some kind are you really going to risk getting blown to bits to tell them to put on some underwear?

Armor don't, with magic.
The more room for the skin to breathe, the better the magical protection is.

silly OP, thats just a hundred year old male wizard trying out his new polymorph spell

because european witches historically had a huge stigma of being massive magical sluts who engaged in devil worshipping orgies
god damn Veeky Forums this is basic IRL lore

I shoot this faggot and his friends with an air-burst bomb.
Eat shit, armorfags.

He knocks it out of the sky hard to smash it back at the bomber. The speed of the blow is so fast the impact trigger only manages to activate when the bomb is lodged in the plane fuselage.

smash from the air is a hell of a drug

Hello autism, we meet again. Hows life on the spectrum?
U may be able to deny my moves are dank but you cant deny history, nothing personnel knave.

Why don't they just use a pavise then?
Even a flimsy wizard should be able to carry one on their back on their way to the battlefield. Then they could just prop them up before them and cast in peace without having to worry about bolts and arrows hitting them.
Wizards aren't one for mobility or CQC anyway, so remaining stationary and casting from a distance shouldn't be a concern for them most of the time.

>Not wearing elven chain, designed to be so light and flexible it doesn't hinder spellcasting at all
I bet you don't even use a weapon or shield as a magic focus.
Congrats, that's the first legitimately funny Monty Python reference I've seen in an age.

>lewd knight gets shot with an arrow in her exposed breast
>dies
>lewd mage gets shot with an arrow in her exposed breast
>her magical wards prevent the arrow from penetrating

>woman wears a thong
>wants to fuck men
>man wears a thong
>wants to fuck men
Adds up to me

Tfw lady knights in miniskirts is my fetish.

You're my fetish user.

...

And when you ask them how much should you give
Oo, they only answer more, more, more y'all

Best adventurer in a minskirt, coming through!

...

...

Whoops, that's not a lady knight!

Huh. I seem to have no more lady knights in miniskirts. Oh well.

Properly dressed mages are cool.

>Male
On the subject, my mages folder is lacking in males.

...

White mages are pure.

The robes are stained with cum.

PURE!

>a character that usually wears ARMOR for protection is scantily clad, which means she's discarding said armor
>a character that usually wears plain robes which offer almost no additional protection over running naked, unless you mean protection against weather.

Is it really that hard to think?

Wheter "mages don't use armor" trope makes sense is another thing, but if you go with it, if your mage's not-armor is full body covering robes makes no difference at all.

>playing in an FF inspired 4e campaign
>find out how deceptively hard it is to find good White Mage art
>and even moreso White Mage Viera art

HRRRRNGH

>The minimum protection I allow players

What kind of mage do you want user?

Male. On my dick

Pure slut

>Fall of Cagliostro.jpg

You mean Gelt?

no, you

well, for a knight it makes sense to be dressed proberly, so they can take damage
unlike a wizard, cause they are most of the time glasscanons

but since they talked about historical accuracy, it doesn't make any sense, that a (female) wizard would wear almost nothing, and actually, there would be no wizard around anyway, if we talk about historical accuracy

except, historical accurate female wizards like witches?
well in that case, it would make somehow sense, cause witches were often depicted as beautiful young women, who fucked with demons and the devil, and sometimes, they also seduced people

you are either a fujoshi, or gay

with more Fatalpulse

Wizard has an excuse of having to be attuned with prana surrounding him, just like druid or pretty much any other caster that doesn't derive his powers from giving blowjobs to demons/gods/other higher beings.
Thus, minimal clothing, runic tattoos, and generally turning your entire body into one big magic circuit.

Female knights have no such excuse.

Also, imagine that the Magical Realm Whizzard is almost buck naked. Or the Rincewind type of Wizzard. Or the other naked old men.

You're welcome.

>One Thrust Man visible in panel 3
Should probably fix that.

That's clearly a mushroom. It's a feature, not a bug.

>Female knights have no such excuse.
What about mage-knights?

>Universal Tranvestite Mercator

As a cartographer and a pervert, this is jolly good fun.

...

>What about mage-knights?
They don't have access to higher-level spells, therefore, they don't have to use the prana so extensively, so the tattoos are only limited to hands or something. Basically, their prana channeling isn't as effective, because they don't need to.
That, or blowjobs to demons/gods/other higher beings.

I LOVE LIGHTNING SO FUCKING MUCH

Is Granblue any good?
[offtopic]
I've been meaning to get into gacha-grinding-hero-collecting genre for a while, but the two main requirements I have are almost never met - lack of anal probing by the corporation, and actual gameplay beyond grinding.

I would've tried the new FE game, but it's got anal probes up the ass. FGO, KanColle and Granblue don't seem like they have any actual gameplay beyond grinding, and the only game that actually interested me - Puzzle&Dragons is old as shit, so it's a bit too late for me to get into it.
Any personal recommendations?

/thread

It's literally turn based jrpg.
And of course with a lot of grinding.
The gacha is the gacha, but every month Granblue has an event that doubles the SSR pull rate. Also for Granblue you don't actually need SSRs, you need a good weapon pool, which, you have to grind for. Still, there is a currency that you get by playing the game and doing certain multi-battles which allows your to buy these weapons so you don't have to rely on rng drops. Also Granblue is more "generous" because every once in a while if you drop money you can get any character that isn't a limited, on top of a 10 roll. The game it's also more generous in recovery items since you kinda drown in them.

Honestly I like it, but I'm a masochist that needs his fix with big numbers. The art is godlike, the 4koma is fun and some raids are kinda fun to do when other players are cool and fuck around. I can't say I reccomend it, but if you want to try it out now is the best time to begin since there is the event that doubles SSR rates and they are going to give 10 roll daily for free for ten days, and there is also a double exp event going on. If you want to try and re-roll now, this is probably the best time to start.

Let's be serious for a minute here, the real reason people get triggered is because the scantily clad fantasy girls are always 10/10 bombshells that make tumblristas feel inferior.

I will always refer to Lara Croft when it comes to these arguments. Miss croft is the embodiment of everything feminists would want. A strong in dependant female main character, she's wealthy and eccentric, she's skilled in multiple forms of combat, and she has proven that she can jump around doing par cour as well as any man. Yet she's still hated by feminists because she's sexually attractive. She doesn't even dress like a slut, or act like a slut, literally the only thing feminists have to dislike about her is she's better looking than most of them.

The truth behind modern feminism, is that attractive women aren't allowed to be successful, and that's why it's a Fucking joke.

>you are either a fujoshi, or gay

Maybe they just like pandering to heterosexual women as well as men for broader appeal?

Why so threatened, fattie? Is it because you aren't the only one being exclusively pandered to? Better dry up those bitch tears.

>Let's be serious for a minute here, the real reason people get triggered is because the scantily clad fantasy girls are always 10/10 bombshells that make tumblristas feel inferior.
But it also triggers the Veeky Forums autists because 'muh realism'

I will yield that male arm chair warriors do get triggered about muh historical accuracy. But those people are very clearly identifiable and can be ignored without second thought

>having a scantily clad fantasy girl
>her body isn't a patchwork for old scars, new scars and scabs

This guy has a point.
I'm triggered by scarless pristine bodies that belong to ostensibly "seasoned warriors". For fuck's sake, yeah, I get it that you will likely already be dead before you get the chance to heal the scar, but facial disfigurements were the norm for anyone who wasn't wearing a face-concealing helmet.

>fantasy
>spellcaster
>getting hit by plebs with pointy sticks

You're a funny guy.
