Wonderful World Thread

Let's make a wonderful world, Veeky Forums.

>The players awaken as a group within a city that seems to be deserted and discarded.

Using merely one post per aspect, describe an aspect of this city. If someone posts something that contradicts something previously said, the previous thing overrules.

If this goes right, we should have an interesting city by the end of this, composed of the submissions of many anons.

>The streets are slowly being reclaimed by nature.

>wild dogs fight over scraps of garbage

>the weather is calm, sunny but with a chilly breeze sometimes

All the lights cut on precisely at 6:00PM and turn off at 8:00AM. If the light was broken it will be repaired the next day at 8:00.

>The city seems to be on a massive scale and of old, possibly ancient, construction

Any attempt at leaving the city leads you towards the center instead

small(ish) dragons of all sorts roam the streets, mornings are thus filled with scattered melodic rawring

>A fountain sits in the middle of the courtyard, depicting a stone statue of a local folk hero. The fountain looks as though it hasn't run in years, and the statue has become a roosting place of the city's resident bird population.

The city is lit by stone lanterns that give a sense of mild unease to anything cast in the light.

The city is guarded by a mechanical 'police' force. Passive for 90% of the time, except when someone breaks the law. When trying to chat with them, they use prerecorded messages that the police would tell children IRL. (Like Look both ways before crossing a street citizen! Report suspicious characters to the authorities!)

>The city has a complex, sprawling sewer system - brightly illuminated by fluorescent fungus and oftentimes by sunlight via many cracks and holes in the ground. The water running through it is crystal clear and refreshing, more akin to a mountain spring than sewage.

The city has an extensive underground network of metro tunnels, albeit with no ordinary railway tracks. The stations are up to 150m below the surface, temple-like, extensively decorated, and they often contain paintings, mosaics or statues of religious and cultural motifs. They are also lit by the queer stone lanterns of the city, while the flourescent fungus grows in many parts of the tunnels.

It has four arms.

The dragons are sapient, but it's part of their morning routine.

explain

The city is occasionally criss-crossed by reed thronged canals, the water level is lower than you see it should be, around knee deep. You find that this is due to unusually large and industrious beavers having dammed the canals towards the outskirts, creating a swampland from what was once some kind of manor estate

There's an odd mold growing at the highest points in the city, a very noticeable purple color. The mold seems to grow quickly on anything organic.

What kinds of adventures would you have in a world like this?

It could be turned into a horror campaign fairly quickly, just expand the mold's range

A pack of sentient rapist lions lives and prowl in the city.
They are all females and they rape only men of all species before feeding on them.

The town hall building is filled with the body of a singular enormous plant and covered completey with vines. The plant has a mouth and neck that extend out of the hall's doors, quickly snapping up and digesting all who come near with a single bite per person.

If entered some of the buildings prove to be comprised of living flesh within an inorganic shell. Though extremely disconcerting these fleshbuildings are harmless the flesh merely squirming and bleeding if damaged and otherwise simply pulses gently with warmth a life. A good place to rest during cold weather.

A giant pheonix trapped in the sewers will occasionally, screech and combust, confusing all surface-dwellers.
