One thought I've been having - what would a Rifts Wargame look like? You'd have the Coalition obviously, Federation of Magic, Free Quebec, Northern Gun... - Lazlo would be obvious if they ever bothered to flesh out that faction at all.

I've run classic Rifts, a rules-lite game in Risus and now I'm prepping to run a Savage Rifts game, probably next month.
The setting is what makes Rifts interesting, the rules are just a side dish.
I've never been interested in wargames so I won't comment on that, but I can definitely see the potential if a skilled wargaming company were to take it on...which Palladium is not, sadly.

Astral plane and dreamscape, do you ever use them for more than light use?
Through the looking glass makes them super interesting, but Ive yet to get aparty to play them. Would have to be a very palladium knowledgable group.
The thing with going astral is its like shadowrun 3.0 and before matrix action it pretty much side lines the rest of the party.
Most of my campaigns, astral projection wound up being more just for scouting ahead and spying than any other use. That was without psyscape or many of the other expansions to astral projection they've added since.
Did you ever have the enemies use it against the pc's? Or have any catch them in the astral plane on defense?
I've mostly been a PC. Would love to GM a game someday though.

I've seen copies floating around. Probably worth checking the various pdf threads.
The current pdf thread only speaks of the purge.
