Missing Eye

What are some alternatives to an eye-patch for a character who is missing an eye, or can only see out of one eye?

Character is a druid so I'm tempted to just have them keep that eye shut a la Guts.

I can think of a few.

>Cloth/bandanna wrapped around head.

>Just keep it shut

>Glasses with one lens blacked out

>A patch of fabric sewed into skin over eye

>Phantom of the opera style half-mask without an eye hole

>Flower/plant over the eye

To build off >Crystal/Wood/Stone Eye. Runes or carvings optional

>grown over scar tissue

Barkskin grown over that side of the face to look almost treeant like.

Jam any small roughly spherical magic item in the socket..

Cybereye

Glass eye. Bonus points if you make it look freaky as hell.

An acorn in the eye-socket.

If anyone asks why, just have them respond with ''Im a druid''

...

Happened to me the other week:

>Be me level 4 Artificer
>Run into Succubus while being alone
>Make My Save so im not insta-ded
>Succubus summons Two Imps
>FuckLegIt.gif jump out of Window
>She jumps after me pinning me on the ground while the Imp stabs me with his Scorpion Tail.
>Critcal! you take 43 points of Poison damage.
>You arent dead but the Imp Stabbed your eye which is now permanently Blinded.
>MFW
>Im Now working on a mechanical Eye with a worked In Lantern of revealing and Eyes of the Eagle
>Scanning intensifies

>Dagger
>Exploding Rune
>A snack
>A plot important key
>A magical eye
>Eye of your enemy

What goes in there is only limited by your imagination.

You could put a motherfucking crystal ball in the socket so you can show people their future by staring them down.

A glass eye, dude.

Make a prosthetic eye out of whatever you like, then get the wizard to inscribe it with a permanent Symbol of Death/Persuasion/Weakness/Stunning.

Immunize the party to it, and then enjoy having a free spell that you can use once every ten minutes.

and she didn't even succ

what a ripoff

In a near-future/sci-fi setting, the answer is obvious!
A Mark II Eyeball of course!

a transparent eyepatch

>Sensible:
Prosthetic, e.g. wood, stone or glass ball
Some sort of mask
Sewn shut/scarred over

>Not sensible:
A live animal, e.g. a small coiled up snake living in the socket
The eye of some sort of monster or demon grafted in

>not having a weapon as your new eye
Gun, small blade, small bomb, vile of acid, another eye you ripped out of a Gorgan.

This list goes on.

...

t. yuuzhan vong

>Phantom of the opera style half-mask without an eye hole
To expand upon this, a helmet without eye slits on the side the wearer is missing their eye.

Druid?

Put an emerald/jade/mossy rock in the socket.

one of these imo

snake or an emerald. maybe a comatose frog with corrosive spit (to break out of incarceration)

Replace it with a keyhole that when unlocked blows you up.

bees.

W-why would you put an exploding rune into your own eye socket

As soon as anybody looks you in the eye your head would explode

An emergency spell stored in a steel orb.

Prismatic Spray or some shit

glass/some jewel/valuable metal eye

Tattoo

>not having a painted-on eye slit as a decoy

>"You see it? It's how you're going to die here."

A vine or stem growing out of the eye socket. Bonus points if it has thorns

Go to bed, Slade

A gorgon eye or an eye from one of a beholders eye stalks

The Eye of Vecna, obviously

Man, it breaks my heart seeing formerly buff Jojo characters being toned down due to style change.

For Polneraff I think it's less "style change" and more "years in a wheel chair"

This would be a valid argument for any other manga, but JJBA has been so utterly unconcerned with logical body types, it'd be even weirder for them to suddenly start caring now.

Unless you think Jotaro legitimately looked 17 in part III...

...

It's all part of the plan.

>plant bomb in eye
>body swap with enemy
>look into eye
>head explodes
>scoop out eye again
>place bomb
>repeat until content with new body

It's genius.
