Random Rolling

angelfire.com/rpg2/vortexshadow/magic/unstablemagic.html

Roll 3 times on the random magic table, then try and make a character, item or creature based on the 3 effects you get out of it.

you can roll by Lurking More or finding an online roller like a plebian

Rolled 8, 10, 2 = 20 (3d10)

Rolled 10, 9, 9, 2, 5, 9 = 44 (6d10)

Shit, forgot to roll two other times

>802. Shrink: The fingers of a nearby randomly chosen creature shrink to 1/12th their normal size for 1 hour.
>99. Cat: A black cat comes up to you and says she's sorry.
>259. Hair: Your hair is turned white as chalk. Permanent
I don't see any workable relationshp beatween any of these things

The cat says she is sorry, if you answer no problem nothing happens if you say anything else, your fingers shrink and your hair turns white as chalk

Rolled 153, 584, 618 = 1355 (3d1000)

>153. Hippo: A hippopotamus walks by ignoring you.
>584. Heal: a Greater Heal, healing all but 1d4 points of damage, affects Caster.
>618. Two heads are better than one: Or are they? Caster grows an argumentative, annoying second head on her shoulder

A healer of a god of duality seems workable, but I got nothing about the hippo.

the god is in and of itself a hippo, like ganesh is an elephant.

Rolled 8, 2, 2, 5, 7, 10, 3, 6, 1 = 44 (9d10)

Roll the bones

822: Summon: Caster summons 1=a rhino, 2=an elephant, or 3=a large mouse
570: Reverse: Reverse Spell protects Target for the next turn.
361: Colour: Target changes colour.
So, looks like I have a Staff with three different spells stored in it.

Rolled 732, 542, 282 = 1556 (3d1000)

Let's see

>385 Eyes: Your eyes permanently turn wine red. (Iris only.)

>872 Polymorph: Target polymorphs into a plant appropriate for the area, or a random type if no plants are around; 40% chance for a monster type (Huorn, Deathwoode, etc).

>Death: The person next to you dies instantly. (PC's get a standard save vs. magic.)

My now red eyes kill people...?

Rolled 812, 704, 402 = 1918 (3d1000)

I have lurk and now I will roll

Rolled 233, 623, 353 = 1209 (3d1000)

Boy oh boy, I wanna see what I get

Rolled 435, 424, 66 = 925 (3d1000)

>233 Wooden Leg: A leg now replaced with wooden leg
>623 Puddle: Puddle for d8 rounds
>353 Area of Effect: Spell has a 60 feet radius; everyone within the radius suffers the effect. Even spells that are normally not an area of effect have the same area
A sentient puddle who wears a wooden leg/wizard's hat, whose spells are always body-explosion types.

lets see

Rolled 553, 407, 266 = 1226 (3d1000)

forgot to roll he

Rolled 132, 622, 268 = 1022 (3d1000)

May the dice gods be kind.

>132 Speedy: Hi, Ho, Let’s go! Your speed is doubled for 1d3 days.
>622 Technicolour Hailstorm: Technicolour hailstorm. 1d4 icy stones of various colours, doing 1d6 HP of damage each, hit all those within 50’ of caster. The storm lasts for 1d4 rounds.
>268 Pegasus: A Pegasus appears and if you are of good alignment, it offers to be your steed.
Pegasus got zapped by a wizard. Now it's hyper, rainbow-colored, and randomly creates technicolor hailstorms.

Rolled 156, 82, 954 = 1192 (3d1000)

Wew laddie

Rolled 981, 646, 713 = 2340 (3d1000)

Rolled 938, 667, 594 = 2199 (3d1000)

Rolled 74, 351, 680 = 1105 (3d1000)

Here we go...

>Warm to Drink
>Look Out
>Jailed

An imprisoned person who can summon boulders. Their drinks are always painfully lukewarm.

Rolled 709, 538, 417 = 1664 (3d1000)

Let's see if this works.

>Hit Points: The caster drains the target of as many hit points as are required to put the caster at maximum. The target will regain these lost hit points if the caster is killed, and is aware of this fact.
> Brothel: Caster is teleported to nearest goblinoid brothel.
>Pegasus: A Pegasus appears and if you are of good alignment, it offers to be your steed.

We're talking a magical life-sucking harlot who can summon magic horses. If you take it at their words.

Humm, maybe it's like Leomund's Magic Hut - Summon a steed that takes you on a magical journey to a whorehouse where dashing Goblin blowjob enthusiasts give your fighter temporary hit points via the oldest profession.

Only good-aligned folks, though - They screen for their girls, clearly.

Ring of Burning Fury (because you will be mad and on fire).
A trickster appears to those who are being chased by 30-300 orcs and offers this ring that polymorphs the wearer into something that rhymes with their last name, not being their choice, Heals all hostile enemies within 60' to maximum, and as the wearer is the target of the first to effects I will work the flames effect to the wearer being the target, resulting in the wearer catching flame cause 1d8 damage a round until put out(of its misery)
