So I got my emperors wrath Artillery detachment.
They are supported by my large infantry platoon consisting of about 75 men.
Now, in general, tanks support infantry.
What vehicle does best at supporting infantry?

If you have enough points you could run a bunch of Hellhound variants and shove a bunch of cheap and fast vehicles into your enemy so they draw fire or kill stuff in cover, whichever happens its a win for you.

Don't bother with voldus, just take 2 Libbys for the same price

Turn 4 because you can put things in reserve

Otherwise walkers can catch assault units before they catch your infantry.

its a picture for ants, but it had an autistic claw thing, one leg was somehow posed like it was a dog tilting to piss on something, and it had a plastic headpiece glued on top of the regular one

What's baffling is that the helmet and other details aren't that bad... but the majority of the fucking miniature is covered in that awful excuse for a dust effect.

Dust effects are super easy to get looking great, too.

They already added absolutely Imperium-generic HQ units and a detachment to just mash everything together. Adding one more unit to that generic pool won't make a difference at this point

They won't make them the new standard. They said that they don't want a complete reboot like AoS and must've learned from the community backlash. Just making several hundred to thousand dollars of thousands of people obsolete again would result in so much shit-throwing that they'd single-handedly destroy the success they've regained over the last few years.

Unless they make a 1k+ year timeskip alongside that, they won't even have a half-decent way to mash them in as the new standard, since not even Cawl will be able to produce several Legion's worth of Space Marines practically over night.
