>lower than Warmachine
Dat huge gap after adding war machine and hordes together. It's about half as popular
IVC2 never added Warmachine and Hordes together as far as I'm aware. Which could be damning for both AoS and Fantasy.
>AoS is up there.
>40k isn't.
>Nah they totally won't touch 40k my guys!
This is going to be fun.
>40k isn't
What did he mean by this?
40k is right there you dumb mong.
This is why it makes sense to AoSify 40k
It's a shoop retards.
Where the fuck are all the GW gamers hiding? The UK? I can't find a soul in my area.
Are you actually retarded?
It's fucking great. With Trump bound to make a trade deal with the UK and put tariffs on made in China goods, GW's profits will go up while Privateer Press's will drop like a rock.
makes you think
That is from spring though, and therefore outdated information.
Either you have no idea what a 'shoop' is or you are just an idiot.
Look at the link, OP image is legitimate.
so waht happened between spnng and fall?
are tree people that popular?
General's Handbook.
Also plausible Armada and Star Trek shit the bed in some way or lost their appeal.
People are just buying less SW shit because now it's all new movie stuff that no one wants.
AoS still selling the same as it was, just the other brands got less popular.
Somehow this is a win for GW spergs.
Wow. The sheer amount of denial is real.
"b-but aos can't be increasing in sales, that's impossibru! it just has to mean everything else is getting less popular, it has to!"
That's what's actually happening though.
If you left your house and actually went to gamestores you could see it for yourself.
When I leave my house I can actually see an increase in AoS players and sales. And the SW players stay the same.
What's hilarious here is you are making assumptions about things without any evidence at all, and claim it's fact. Keep trying, buddy.
lmao
>x-wing
I guess I don't see the appeal? What is it about this game that everyone seems to hype up? The miniatures for it are nothing to right home about honestly
>What is it about this game that everyone seems to hype up?
Good rules, Star Wars dogfight
It's really fun, easy to get into, and people like Star Wars. Play a game and see if you enjoy it.
It's Star Wars. That's about it in my understanding. I heard the rules are ok too, but honestly I haven't heard that much in that regard.
I guess I'm just sick to death of Star Wars that I have no interest I suppose. I mean if people like it, that's great, it just doesn't excite me anymore like it used too.
Well for me persoanally I have absolutely no interest in it because there is no hobby aspect to it, it's just the game. I like something that has an equal game and hobby importance.
But I know a lot like it because it's a fast paced space battle game with plenty of depth and tactics. I played a couple demo games, and yes, it is fun. But there's no hobby to keep me interested.
You should try doing repaints.
>Below Warmachine
>Not even Warmahordes, just Warmachine listed individually
Confirmed ded.
I live near Nottingham, where GW's HQ is based. You can't fucking move for GW gamers. It's impossible to find players of any game that doesn't involve fucking space marines.
I hate it.
You do know this doesn't take into account GW stores, which are reported to be a 40% of GW's revenue in the states, don't you?
>doesn't have real rules
>"game"
Go home and get re-rolls for having the biggest neckbeard, you faggots.
Thank god it does have rules nor the beard shit. I suppose that, even then, it's better than codex: grav, though.
If by real rules you mean the steaming pile of putrid shit that's become 40k, no it doesn't have them. And thank FUCKING god.
pre-painted
rather self contained rules
quick to play
It touches a lot of easy buttons. Heroclix but with TIE fighters. All the new star wars shows/movies/etc are also relevant. Personally it's mediocre, and pre-painted turns me right off
The rules are good, the games are dynamic, fun and pretty fast to play, the minis are prepainted but you can paint over and it's Star Wars
X-wing is a bit broken.
If you put a really expensive pilot into a small ship with lots of maneuverability and just stack equipment, it's basically impossible to kill it.
Total War released which may have boosted sales.
That's just a guess though.
I thought the meta nowadays was fly big ships that are way more maneuverable then they should be coughSHADOWCASTERcough
Star Wars is the only thing that really pushes it into the top seller category. If it was generic space ships number xxxx it would have gotten quickly tossed into the forgotten pile like so many other games.
This. X-Wing is great but it only got recognized because of the IP. It's not even a real miniature wargame in the modern market sense as you play with pre-fabricated and painted toys instead of building your own miniatures, not to mention ship wargames have always stood apart from infantry wargames. It's more like a TCG version of ship wargaming.
Not to mention that:
1) Your spending 15$ and up on a single plastic figure, or in some cases, just to get the cards that go with the figure.
2)They purposefully make it so that old players MUST buy new ships to get the new cards
So just like GW forcing people to buy new Custode-SoS starters just for book with rules, but cheaper.
No because they will also be selling the custodes and sos separately, and their rules have already been published for free on their website
