ripple is not against satoshi's vision. Bitcoin and Ripple are in totaly different markets. BTC is a decentralized blockchain, with satellite access and lightning network. Ripple is a private token, which will be used by private banks for their own purposes. Bitcoin's target market is to be used as a currency and store of value by the people all over the world. Ripple's target market is to serve as a centralized private fund transfer system between banks. They are not competing. Ripple is not a competitor of Bitcoin. Both can exist in the same world (Bitcoin will always be more valuable for the average person, though).
