Your mother

I feel like this is quickly going to shitstorm itself into a /pol/ thread.

The answer is George Soros, though.

you want a ideological based anwser or a reall anwser?
Ideological: atm. it's the corporations and part of the 1%
Non ideological: anyone who has enough time on their hands and has the mental capacity to work the stock market intill he has enough money to do wtf. he wants. Just look at the Koch brothers, soros etc.

Niggers.

God

what;s the obsesion with Soros? There are like at least 20 other rich guys who put money into ideological movements, yet no one talks about them

Nobody, because human history is a sandbox campaign and not teleogical.

The Mongols

Jews

he's the jewiest jew of the lot

the jew

Well please educate us Mr. user.

I mean Soros DID sell other Jews to the Nazis for maximum profit.

I highly doubt that, he's not part of the Rothschild familly or anything like that, all he really dose is throw stupid amounts of money on liberals and leftists. It's not like the Koch guys have not been doing that for years for the right

Is there any proof of that? I could never find any mention of it on non-conspiracy thoery websites

"History" has had a lot of seasons and different bad guys throughout. It doesn't help that it's a shared universe; there used to be a bunch of different series - Americas, Europe, Near East, Africa, India, China, Oceania, with a few specific spin-offs in each - that occasionally referenced each other but were mostly their own thing. But nowadays it's just the one big Earth series that's turned into a gigantic clusterfuck.

The most recent "bad guy" for the whole series was definitely Adolf Hitler; basically he was the main villain for the better part of fifteen or twenty seasons or so, and everything he did still has a huge impact through to even today's episode. He's kind of like Gavrilo Princip in that everything can be traced back to him, but unlike Princip, who was just some throwaway character that did something that ballooned out of control, Adolf Hitler actually had real power and was actively trying to make the world into his ideal image.

It's a shame, too. It really looked like the producers were building up that Mussolini guy, who was far more likable and believable, but instead he got sidelined by ORIGINAL CHARACTER DONUT STAHL who was just evil to a frankly cartoonish degree (and not the fun cartoonish villainy that Mussolini occasionally had going for him that helped balance him out). But I guess that's what the audience wanted at the time. Fucking plebs.

Soros is just a front man for the Rothschilds.
Rothschild may or may not be a front man for the Bogdanoffs.

wait wait wait, dont you forget about stalin and mao. They may have not had so much screen time but it was implyed that they did all kinds of shit. Plus Stalin really outdid himself with all the "arms war with the greatest superpower in the world that he could have won" bit

right now it's probably the bilderberg group

The big problem with Hitler as a character is that ever since "History" had him, every Bad Guy has just basically been "Hitler but X". Stalin, for example, was built up to be "the next Hitler", "Hitler but Soviet", but the writers could never agree if he was expansionist or hidebound and what his ultimate goals were.

The most pathetic recent incarnation was Saddam Hussein, "Hitler but Iraqi", which might have been interesting had the writers not also remembered that Iraq is a two-bit player who can't really ACHIEVE anything beyond its limited sphere of influence. Thankfully he's since been killed off.

What hasn't helped is the fact that everyone is measured against Hitler, and it's gotten to a point where Hitler is used as a casual insult in-series, to the point where comparison to the actual character has basically lost all meaning.

By this point, I'm pretty sure the only way we'll ever get a decent villain again who isn't just compared to Hitler is if that "Space" thing ever gets off the ground and we start meeting new characters who aren't human. The writers really want it, and the audience loves the idea, but the show's concept would require ludicrous money and risk on the part of the producers and they just don't seem willing to do it. Not to mention the fact that a number of sacred cows would need to be broken, like "no non-human important characters", or "the speed of light can't be exceeded".

Came here to say Soros as well.

Hitler was the last hero in the world.

>"the speed of light can't be exceeded"

This is the cancer that is killing Earth. I used to like the show back when the rules weren't clear, but for the past 100 years or so all the rules are just absolutely set in stone and the producers refuse to allow the writers to break them.

Do you even gnosticism, Veeky Forums?

> "Hitler but Soviet"
Dude, have you not watched the spin off sieries about stalin? He has much diferent, it;s just that hitler was stealing his spotlight and too many people liked him so they had to give stalin his own show. It still has a gigantic fan base, especialy in the slavic countrys

The Spanish Civil War arc was such a wasted opportunity, they made it into a huge deal and did nothing with it.

> that occasionally referenced each other but were mostly their own thing.

Man, remember that one episode of Europe where the Vikings all set sail and reached "Vinland", but then abandoned it a few episodes later, which seemed kind of like a weird episode until a few seasons later when Columbus found "The New World", and we realized that the Vinlandsaga was foreshadowing?

Remember how BLOWN everyone's mind was when it was revealed that Europe and The Americas had been part of the same series THE ENTIRE TIME?!

And that fucking awesome AZTEC VERSES SPANIARDS arc?!

Man, why can't stuff like that happen anymore?

>especialy in the slavic countrys
Slav here. Citation nedeed. We all love Hitler here.

OP why did you open your thread with a picture of some random guy?

Demiurge like said

I also I know what the final dungeon on earth is.

I think, in this context, the idea is that the Slav countries love Stalin as a villain.

Have you ever seen the 1st of may events in russia? Or the whole Belarus thing. Hell, even poland, who hated the whole USSR arc has a fanbase, it is small, but there were times when it outgrew the hitler funbase

What if the BBEG of humanity is ourselves?

We know we're permanently damaging the one home we have ever had, and for various reasons of laziness and greed are not addressing the problem rapidly enough.

I like the direction they're taking with Trump so far. Looking back, it's obvious they wanted to do "Hitler but American" for a long time.

Ah, okay. But we all fucking hate gommies and cheer for the americans in every cold war movie, and we root for the nazis... Communism is cancer.

that too, in slavlands "as bad as stalin" is the "as bad as hitler" of the west

>rooting for nazis
>rooting for the guys who wanted to exterminate the slavs
>not beaing the "both are fucking idiots" masterace

> Who was/is the BBEG of human history?

Half the fanbase is convinced he's going to be the Messiah or something. It's as bad as those Narutofags who actually believed Tobi when he said "I am Madara".

It's like people don't understand the concept of lying. Which, I suppose, is why it's such an effective tactic, and why if you look at the character sheets they've published for various major characters throughout history, hero or villain, their Deception skill is almost always maximized.

>not being a part of a nazi satelite state in slav lands
>not being UstaĊĦa
Why live?

>Why live?

Presumably any character that lived through that had something to do with that ODESSA arc. Which also never really went anywhere...thank God. the Nazis were fun at the time, but there's nothing worse than bringing back a soundly defeated enemy just for a cheap ratings boost.

>having opinions

Human history is a franchise, which series are you talking about?

Smallpox

>Destroyed the Roman Empire, the greatest civilization that ever was and the greatest civilization that ever will be
>Sent Europe plummeting into the dark ages, an era of declining civilization, the rise of banditry in the absence of centralized authority and decreasing hygiene standards which brought back once eliminated plagues and pandemics
>Tarnished the name of the Roman Empire by founding its own "Holy" "Roman" "Empire", forever tarnishing what it means to be an empire (where it once meant an authoritarian leader who assumes power while respecting Republican values, it now meant a king who ruled 20 square kilometers more than a regular king)
>As the Flemish born, Francophone Charles V was on the verge of uniting Christendom in a Universal Monarchy and push the Ottomans' shit in, they divided Christendom and brought about one of the bloodiest wars that has ever happened
>As Napoleon was reviving the spirit of Rome and spreading liberalism and meritocracy to the farflung corners of Europe, he was betrayed. Not because the enemy outgunned or outsmarted him but because his own Rhenish/Pr*ssian troops turned against him and decided they preferred tyranny over justice (battle of Leipzig)
>Through multiple wars of agression they finally unite into a single, modern nation-state in 1871 which makes it appear as if they may finally start comprehending the meaning of civilization
>Less than 50 years later they start a war with practically everyone around them, the bloodiest war that has ever been... for the second time
>20 years later they AGAIN start the bloodiest war the world had ever seen, this time with extra genocide to spice things up
>Weakened and divided after 50 years
>As soon as they unite, they seek to demographically and economically wreck Europe yet again for their own benefit

We need a Final Solution for the G*rman problem.

Rothschild family.
Soros.
Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton was incredibly ineffectual. She's a joke villain at best.

...

Stalin, probably. He controlled a doomsday device, killed millions of people, and ruled over millions more as slaves.

It was only his anti-climactic death and replacement by a much more reasonable dude that kept him from being seen as the true BBEG.

Idiot. He's a hero.

Anons will list off a bunch of people, but the BBEG of history is probably Hitler and the Nazi party. Even if you tried to justify anything and bring light to other countries horrific actions and shit, you cant deny that Adolf was the antagonist of the Second World War. A great number of super powered countries had to fight this motherfucker, it was like a fantasy novel in a way.

This a lot of work and effort for bait.

Recent history is probably
For more classical antiquity.

Attila the Mother Fucking Hun.

The Scourge of God

I mean, how much more of a badass title can you get.

Not even close

Entropy is the Epic Level Campaign BBEG, but that campaign is kinda set up so that you're never really supposed to get around to really fighting it. Other shit to do, you know?

Die Juden

I can help you with that. Would you like to make a contract?

>fun cartoonish villainy that Mussolini occasionally had going for him
Si, si

D E L E T

Why did I come into this thread hoping for it to not be filled to the brim with retarded Trumplets?

The Koch brothers are the heroes we need tho.

I vote Rosseau.

Every historically monstrous thing is retroactively applied to actions done by people believing they're in the right.

But you specifically, user. You are history's greatest monster.

Humans

Answer's clear.

Much as I dislike him, this is a mighty argument for modern monarchy. I'd like to see a new Russian dynasty under him.

>Season 1
>Mussolini says such things as "race is a feeling, I do not believe there is a biological truth behind race" and "some ideas of racial superiority preached across the alps allow us to look down with supreme pity on those who walked around in bearskins while we had Caesar, Augustus and Vergillius" [a neat reference to the much beloved Rome series]

>Season 4
>Mussolini sides with Hitler, proclaims that the Italians are actually Langobardic Germanics and Germanics are indeed the master race

Believable character development, what's that?

The BBEG is Muhammed and his cult of evil.

He was defeated 1000 years ago but a prophecy states that he will come back as the Anti-Christ.

...

The whole WWII arc was stupid, and only existed because that one writer was pissed that the producers didn't let his stupid *muh germany* win

Hollow-earthers and what-lies-beneath. But no one has ever come back to tell of their sub-terranian nightmares, so there's that.

Honestly? Historical warm periods for causing famine and historical cold periods for causing famine. sets into motion migrationary movements and results in mass death destruction and the end of empires. Untill next time

Joos.

Humans are the bbeg, we're our own worst enemy.

And of course that DONUT STEEL character was... an artist. A misunderstood artist who was spat out and ostracized by the art world. Totally not a self-insert character or anything!

...

...

And then actually got fucking ELECTED to be surpeme leader of the evil empire. Because OF COURSE he did. That's a fucking mary sue right there

>Attila
>Posts a picture of Timur

Correct answer.

Our inability to conceptualize people we don't personally know as people. Which is why you should never let a philosophy major run a game.

It's in his damn autobiography. He calls them the best years of his life.

What's the original source for this sans political stickers?

user, that is the original.

And I was hoping it was a screenshot from a lesbian porno

>I'm Chaotic Neutral and this is what my character would do.

The MAGA girl looks a bit brown.

The other one is cute.

The axis of evil has 3 currently:
Muhammad,Karl Marx and John Maynard Keynes

Life itself.

After all, human nature would not be what it is, were life not inherently self-destructive.

Mohammed

Gavrilo was a good boy and did nothing wrong.

...

Weird how this post has no replies.

>103 years
>103 YEARS
>and we're still dealing with his screw-up now

...

>John Maynard Keynes
I do wonder who is behind this post.

Currently I'd argue it's the Internet. Think about it, the Internet is the reason we got Furries, Stormfags, Social Justice Warriors, the Alt-Right, the Internet polarized Politics, made extreme ideologies and sexual fetishes palatable and by connecting us all has divided us all even further.

Yes, a whole fuckton of genocidal utopist thinking can be laid squarely at his feet, but he's not that well known; plus he doesn't have the charisma to be anything more than a "power behind the throne" villain. Not a true BBEG.

It's also what all those robots and driverless cars are gonna be linked to soon.

Gee, I wonder what could go wrong with that if nobody plans for it.

Temujin "Genghis (Motherfucking)" Khan, the Wrath of God. Like Attila, but better in every way.

He even has a "I'm going to fuck and burn everything you love" quote: "If you had not committed great sins, then God would not have sent me to punish you".

Hitler was like an attempt to make the ultimate villain and it came off as so cheesy.
>He volunteered to join the German army in WW1
>He mentions that he enjoyed his time in the military in WW1
>Look how evil he is killing people and trying to conquer everything
>Oh but look he has a dog and a girlfriend he has humanizing characteristics
>Ha he killed himself but nobody found the body so maybe not
Otto Skorzeny was Hitler done right. Not a huge character but he was actually cool.
>Giant German commando
>Borderline super soldier rescues Mussolini without firing a shot and nearly crashes the escape plane on purpose by overloading it
>After the war escapes and helps other Nazis escape
>Proceeds to form a secret organization to spread fascism to the world
Seriously Skorzeny working with Francisco Franco should have been its own arc, instead it was just Skorzeny fucking around in the middle east until he died while other people got the spotlight.
