Ethereum... HODL or bail?

I'm currently in the green with my ETH but I suspect that BTC is actually going to hit the floor hard soon. Question is, if BTC collapsed, would it bring down strong alts like ETH too? What's the future looking like in the event of a BTC crash or if BTC continues to be King?

Really? I'm suspecting Bitcoin will moon hard really soon. Look at the one day charts. Every couple days it moons after a dump.

ETH is literally the only "coin" that works, has fast transaction times, small fees and all the tokens rely on it

I can't see it failing, 1k eoty and easy x2 next year is my prediction

ETH holding up incredibly well... ratio charts suggest that there is much upward room to grow. 0.1 not out of the question which would be like 1700$ ether

It should boost altcoins but it probably wont
BTC crashing will be interpreted by many as a crash of the total market. As a wake-up call to the risk in the total market. Probably you’d see money flow out in general. However this is likely preceeded by an alts boom while people sell BTC.
IMO these markets are pumped up on hot air since BTC $8,000

also I think BTC is headed for 20k before christmas, though I don't hold any atm so I didn't spend much time on my TA

I've noticed that ETH has been moving more independently of BTC lately when they would previously move side by side. ETH might just have the strength to hold the line against a BTC dump so in my opinion I'd hold.

Don't come here pink wojaking if eth dumps though
