Bro tier chapters?

What other chapters are less "kill everything that moves" and more "i value other members of my species and i protect them"?

There's your pic, the some Ultramarines, and the Lamenters.

>Salamander shills

*Some of the

Blood Angels and Space Wolves

The greatest chapter cares for imperial citizens

When you think about it, the Marines Malevolent make the most sense and are what's best for humanity.

Fuck off MM, you're not fooling anyone.

Crimson Fists

. Eventually the mother fatigues and falters, falling to her knees. The column of marines halt as their Chapter Master moves to the back, where the reader is led to believe that he is about to kill her given his wrist-mounted Storm Bolter is very, very close to her head. She pleads that her children were so heavy and she tried, and what does Kantor do? Let me stress that he did not want her in the first place. What does he do? He replies with, "You did well to bring them this far. It is time someone else carried you now." And then he picks her up in his arms, along with her kids, and rejoins his Battle-Brothers.

Doom Eagles.
Their entire mentality is about being the most self-suffering fatalistic grim bastards possible, but all in the name of ensuring that mortal humans don't suffer like they do.

They all see themselves as being already dead and that suffering and pain is their lot in the universe and nothing will change that, so nothing can hold them back from fighting as hard as they can to protect the innocent and the faithful from feeling their suffering.

They're one of the only chapters that manages to be both very grimdark and very sympathetic about protecting regular humans, without those two sides of their mentality conflicting.

>All of creation suffers, young ones. Only in accepting our own mortality can we make a difference. Only in bearing the burden of our failures can we find the strength to go on. Only in detachment from glory, or honour, or jealousy... from life itself can we hope to spare others from grief.
>We are Doom Eagles. And we are dead already.

Space Wolves are the bro chad marines.

For those we cherish, we die in glory.

There really are few other options.

I loved this part of the novel.

Marines Malevolent aren't even what's best for Marines Malevolent.

> Never compromise
> Duty before pride
> The mission is everything
> Cast out, spurned and despised, we still do His work
> If killing one today saves a thousand tomorrow, that is your duty
> Do not waste the effort that has created you

Truly the greatest Chapter of them all.

Wolves are kind of a special case. They take their role as humanity's protector seriously, even butting heads with the Imperium's more callous bodies over it. But at the same time, I don't think they really care all that much about the normies beyond seeing a huddled mass to protect. They don't seem interested in administering or improving the lives of the Imperium's subjects, unlike the Salamanders or many Ultra chapters.

Similar with the Blood Angels. They're more interested in the Imperium as a concept instead of the Imperium in terms of human life.

This. In the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millenium, the dudes who let a handful die so that the rest might escape and with minimal casualties on their own men, whom are limited to 1,000, which means that every loss is deadly, are those that are needed in these dark times.

>Marines Malevolent
>best for humanity

Raven guard to some extent. Wolves.
Ultramarines.

Thousand Sons seem like a bro legion before and after, Ahriman obviously is cut up over the rubric turning half of them to dust.

>If killing a thousand today saves one tomorrow, at least some of that thousand were xenos right? Right guys?

FTFY

Rich Salamanders commit more crime than poor Ultramarines. Fact.

> Be smelly Syrian peasant
> ISIS death brigade are coming to visit
> Big ISIS boss man is leading

> Suddenly drone strike
> Big ISIS boss man gets crumped
> My smelly peasant friends are hit too

> American special forces won't even parachute into the fight and personally save me and my children?
> Wow what assholes

The Smurfs have a lot of successor chapters, so there is a lot of variation, some are elitist douches while others care for the little men.

Their actions spic for themselves.

>Tfw read Prospero Burns
>tfw really like the Thousand Sons as characters
>Rubric happens

>Brother Azhek is that you?!

fucking lol

As they should always be, the finest Paragons to humanity.

>anything can be sacrificed for the good of the mission, even the mission

Raven Guard are a bit weird, they are almost rogue but still are good guys.

>wearing metal boxes
>could easily take out the greenskins manually
>nope let's missile pod everyone including our allies
>proceeds to steal from fellow chapters harder than the Blood Ravens
>more ramshackle than a chaos marine
>truly the greatest

at a least a drone won't rape your sister and mother and you

I, CATO SICARIUS, of the GLORIOUS AND FAMED SECOND COMPANY, AGREE STOUTLY

youtube.com/watch?v=yx61xeDV_60&index=5&list=RDlhll0TDIIdk

>FROM ANCIENT TERRA THE EMPEROR COMMANDS HIS PROUD SONS
youtube.com/watch?v=e6c5RZL9Skw

It never was the Space Wolves role to administer to the Imperium or any other group of space marine either. The Emperor never intended for Astartes to rule the Imperium, they exist solely to kill its enemies

Are you faggots forgetting the part where Ahriman turns a human into a pile of goo on Magnus' orders to find out what the psychic visions they were having meant? Russ did nothing wrong

Russ did a bunch wrong, but Magnus and his foolish sons had to be stopped.

The Dark Angels can be pretty good most of the time. Namaan was pretty bro tier, and during the Pandorax campaign Azrael went well out of his way to save a lone human. It's just that once something to do with the Fallen comes up 10,000 years of indoctrination and paranoia kicks in and they go full retard.

Yeah, and the minotaurs are whats best for the other space marine chapters.

Literally only the Salamanders. They're gods among space marines.

>this robot is trained to fuck your mouth.jpg

Wow, I had no idea that the Crimson Fists were so bro-tier.

>69

the omnissiah has forsaken us

...

>Crimson Fists
>Space Wolves
>Blood Angels
>Salamanders
>Lamenters
>Raven Guard

Despite the grim darkness, the Space Marines are filled with genuinely good and honourable chapters that deserve the title of Humanity's Protectors.

Hey Cato, tell us about the necrons again.

Mah battle brother.....

I see what you did here you cheeky bastard

I feel like any chapter that is more bro than Ultramarines is being too bro for the good of humanity. Salamanders, Lamenters, etc are TOO benevolent. Ultramarines find the best balance of not being dicks and also being pretty nice, but without compromising operations.

There's also probably some ambivalent chapter that is below Ultramarines in the tier of friendliness, and the best place to be is in between those two levels. Anyone below that level is going to be a dick like the Sons of Medusa or Marines Malevolent.

Childhood is when you idolize the lamentors

Adulthood is realizing flesh eaters make more sense

Where would you fit the Dark Angels and Co.? They're shady and dangerous but not outright callous like the MM.

They probably straddle the line between not caring and then plunging into the asshole zone when they decide to betray/teamkill/abandon because OH NO THE FALLEN

>drive by browsing
>see this thread
>check to make sure the piss yellow is represented

I am not disappoint. You do your chapter proud annon.

That's Eldar

[red]fuckin' doom eagles![red]

>tfw you like the idea of bro chapters but none of their insignia or color choices appeal to you

Grimnar is the one that cares for the little people. Most wolves are just a bunch of bloodthirsty assholes that gleefully kill the populace of the worlds they conquer.

Iron Hands and their successors like the Red Talons are a brotherhood of assholes. Does that count?

Broest of bros.
Guardians of the Covenant value the Imperial citizenry, living as feudal lords over the world of Mortikah VII, taking an interest into local Imperial society.

What the fuck even is the "Agrax" that Agrax Earthshade gets its name from?

>the legion that was so bloodthirsty they had to install field police to save civilians from their butchery is going to moralfag about a single murder

Has the Space Marine mod finally been updated? He said he was making relic armors but it's been ages since I last checked.

If it did, I'll really have to get my computer repaired, I really want to pay F4 with Space marines and Deathwing as well, now that it has recieved plenty of patches.

>GW legal team
>Protectors of the contract
>Shield of the writ
>Bulwark against the hearsay

agreed

>Has the Space Marine mod finally been updated?

How are Raven Guard rogue? They seem pretty good to me.
Their Primarch had a fucking mental breakdown because he gave his sons autism and threw a shitfit when uncle Horus was teaching them to swear/mutilate.

>How are Raven Guard rogue?

They have no command structure. He probably means maverick rather than rogue since saying rogue in 40k often means renegade

...

I don't see that rule anywhere.

You will not post any of the following outside of /b/: Trolls, flames, racism, off-topic replies, uncalled for catchphrases, macro image replies, indecipherable text (example: "lol u tk him 2da bar|?"), anthropomorphic ("furry") or grotesque ("guro") images, post number GETs ("dubs"), or loli/shota pornography.
