Not every fork or copy of a code is a scam. It doesn't matter if its Colin's daddy's company or not, because its still a fact that NXS is partnered with Vector. The actual project has advanced and the team is still growing. It's definitely more of a coin to keep an eye on versus going all in.

The coin was a fork from Peer coin, but since then the entire code has been rewritten from the ground up (look at their github)

You do realize that there was literally only Collin himself working on this project for the past few years right? But now they have a whole team, they have been releasing screenshots and code of their work, again look at the github or join their slack. There is progress being made, and when their new wallet and first step towards the 3D blockchain comes out, you'll be able to stop spreading FUD.

Also, just because his dad is the CEO doesn't mean he can do whatever he wants. The entire board approved of the partnership because it mutually benefits them both.

At least nexus is aiming to provide more than just another coin. And charts don't lie, this will go at least 30x in 2018, and likely a lot higher than that. It will essentially be everything iota claims to be but better, and just look at the difference in market caps.
