First for the first and only!

Nth for Chaos Dreadnoughts

...

Old man in gold book anyone?

youtu.be/vCkB1dzS1fY

When 8th comes out, we're currently expecting AoS-style battlescrolls for old units with updated stats, right? Are we expecting these for FW models as well? I'm eyeing a couple of FW things but don't want to buy if they'll be rendered unusable in 8th.

Repostan from last thread.

Babbys first Minotaurs list, with a couple Inquisitors too. Anything too glaringly wrong? Lots of plasma, but I have psykers and Moloc gives everyone PE:Marines, so it's not too bad. No grenades on the Termies because Moloc manifests them magically for his squad, and the Xenos goes with them while Coteaz hangs with the Servitors or the Devs twin-linking everything.

Not enough melee? I'm fairly sure it's quite shooty, and not short of ObSec by any means. No dedicated anti-air, but I'm hoping that 8 Lascannon and two Sicaran Autocannon can bring down the occasional Stormraven or Heldrake, and all the Tacticals and their Lasbacks respawn on a 5+.

I figured out the GSC shadow wars typo. Almost all specialists cost 10 points more than the trooper option. It looks like GW put in the points change instead of the total cost, so they should be 70 points.

post your wishlist

IoM: Adeptus Sororitas update with quality waifu models
Aeldari: Exodites codex
Orks: Matt Ward writes the codex and makes them overpowered as fuck and gives focus on the Klanz
Tau: Nerfed to mediocre, Kroot codex
Necrons: C'tan want to take revenge and become Vampire Cunts in Space with Oldcrons
Tyranids: Matt Ward also writes the codex and makes them overpowered as fuck and gives the HQ models personalities for more "your dude" potential while triggering the shit out of oldnid grognards
Chaos: Chaos Sisters

Hey anons, I need help. Originally I was going to go for a forest camouflage for my Blood Axes that I want to paint, but then I realized that would be too much green. What would be a good camouflage pattern/color scheme for them, since I don't want the colors to be too indistuingishable or clashing?

regimental-standard.com/2017/03/29/your-new-medical-kit/

Obvious joke about 2nd ed flak armor.

Hey user, if you want to run the Inquisition's attack dogs/Space Marines, the Red Hunters chapter might be a better choice.

We have no idea what they are doing, and all signs point to being very early in the development process.

I just want my Black Templars to be updated in some capacity and a combined AdMech codex.

Fixed Tyranids, Orks, Eldar, tau and general Formations would also be nice.

> Klanz

I have never got this.
Aren't Klanz more of a squad-level thing? Orks mob up with their mates and krump things, rather than a whole Warband of Snakebites.

How do you make a Goff any more belligerent than he already is? He's already WS4/A2, does having an attitude really warrant being able to out-punch a Marine?

And if Klanz are a straight upgrade, what happens to Yoordoods? Why would anybody choose to play something *other* than a Klan?

Try urban. bluish grey/dark grey.

Wait, since when? I thought we were confirmed for a June release? I'd heard that they were basically done, just polishing.

You sound like a faggot.

>Hey the author of this Lectitio Divinatus is some L. Aurelian. Who's that guy?

no, just pissed off how Nids and Orks get fucked over and want the fucking ward cheese

Had a look at them, didn't particularly like the colours and they're a bit too Operator for my liking. Also I like the greek style and the bronze and red. Bit worried that it's hard to fit enough choppy in lists because Assault Marines aren't Troops like in 30k.

That list is illegal, you need another techmarine for the relics

Klanz are like space marine chapters, IG regiments, Eldar Craft world, Tau septa, Necron Dinasties, Nids fleets, etc

warhammer-community.com/2017/03/23/warhammer-40000-news-from-adepticon/
The vibe I get is that we could either get 8th by next year, or just playtest rules.

Speaking for Daemons:
> Undivided MC and FMC, to function as generic stompmonster and anti-flier Vectormonster respectively
> New units, units moved around etc, such that every God has some choice in their options
> BLetters/Hounds, Horrors/Flamers, Plagues/Nurgs and Daemonettes/Fiends all go to Troops
> Khorne grabs Skullreapers and Wrathmongers
> Nurgle gets Blightkings and a giant flower-pitcher plant monster thing
> Tzeentch gets Firewyrms
> Slaanesh gets shrieking banshee things

> Daemons do not scatter if DSing within 6" of an enemy psyker
> Daemons of Slaanesh get PE:Eldar across the board
> Undivided Formations for those who want to play multi-God Incursion
> MonoGod formations get unique mechanics and are a viable alternative
> God-specific Warpstorms

FUCKING WHEN

For the relic vehicle

Hopefully never.

From what I've read, it seems like Pink Horrors could use some nerfing and/or more counter-play options. The whole doubling twice thing, where the blues and brims are ALSO psykers is a bit nuts. Even something like Instant Death negating Split.

Why the fuck do you have a name if you don't contribute fucking anything, you dumb attention-whoring slut?

>And if Klanz are a straight upgrade, what happens to Yoordoods? Why would anybody choose to play something *other* than a Klan?

It's literally like giving Orks Chapter Tactics.

As for your Goff example. Maybe have them lose Furious Charge, but gain +1 S to their base characteristic. So Boyz are always S4, Nobz are S5 (S10 with Klaws!)

As well as one to two more bonuses. Just something small.

Bad Moon: Flashgitz roll 2d6 for their Snazzgun's AP and take the lowest. Plus 1-2 more things

Deathskulls: Their Lootas become troops and roll 2d3 and take the highest when determining the number of attacks they get. Plus 1-2 more things.

You know, minor things to add a little twist to Orks... like Chapter Tactics or Chaos Legion rules.

>Granted Orks have a lot of issues built into their unit's profiles that need to be addressed.

>He hasn't heard of Miriael Sabathiel.

"While we don’t want to invalidate all books immediately, we do recognize the effects on the game
by having so many books and supplements. In the new edition we will reduce the physical
books needed. Look forward to the future."

Fucking yes please. Reduce the bloat.

>Slaanesh
>getting any updates

Ugh, sudden quality dip:

Because you rely on M-M-Matt Ward and much waifs 1d4chan memes any positive point you made is invalidated by your faggotry.

End your namefagging right now, everyone hates an attention whore.

So I've ordered an Adeptus Custodes codex in physical form and it should be here by Friday, but in the mean time does anyone have a digital copy that I could read?

...

youtube.com/watch?v=YgHNtzxO0y8

And people wonder why our hobby has a reputation for sexism...

Wait, there's one in the mega now. My bad.

(You)

>1d4 memes
are you fucking serious man

kys

Aaaaand I'm wasting time on YouTube watching a British or African black guy tell me he self-identifies sexually as an attack helicopter.

Y'know, it's always the people complaining about tripfags for no particular reason beyond autism that are disruptive, rather than the person who doesn't have a specific word in the little letters above their post.

What's the point of a zealot faction if some of their troops go traitor?
Doesn't Fabius Bile create female power-armoured soldiers already?

Copying me won't make me remove if, people have tried before. :)

Yup. People will complain about a site feature and derail the thread when they could just ignore it and move on.

It would be AMAZING. Tyranids and Guard both suffer from having like all of their rules spewed across 30 sources.

I thought it was already proven no one buys Sisters hence the reason they never get updates and why they still come in metal even though GW hasn't used metal in ages

Yes, that's what he meant, you cocksmoker.
1d4chan is little besides memes, half of them wrong, and people like you treat it as more than a shit repository.

>defending yourself
lol

thanks for educating me about your hatred for a meme site, faggot

Found the tau player.

I wish they'd put out a stormsurge wing formation.

I don't think I do, do I? One base, one allowed because Techmarine, Contemptor doesn't count because he doesn't have a Relic weapon, right? I could always add another one in. Does the one on the Thunderfire Cannon count?

>he thinks I'm the other user
Stop compounding your faggotry by acting like only one person can think you are a fucknugget.

So Brexit is happening. Is Forge world affordable yet?

Why does having a wishlist make you a Tau player?
Explain your logic.

>boohoo
what's the matter, faggot

come reply to my last post and prove you are not the only tard who got triggered haha

Would people get upset in general play if I took some space marines from a bunch of different chapters and slapped a Twisted Path symbol on their knee and ran them as just regular SM allies to my Harlequin? It's technically implied in the lore that they kidnap people and either convince or brainwash them to fight with them, but I don't know if Space Marines are assuming too much on my part.

I have my first game tomorrow against space marines. How does my army list look?

Dark eldar/harliquin ynnari

3x Medusa
venom with splinter cannons
5 x harlequin troops with kisses
starweaver
5 x harlequin troops with caress + rose
starweaver
5 x scourge with 4x heat lance
3 x reavers with a cluster caltrop
Yncarne avatar of Ynnead

>durrhurr triggered~!
>I'll meme him harder, that'll show him!

Hey Veeky Forums!
A shadow war kit, aka necromunda 2.0, is coming to my store next weekend and I get to play some games with it.

What faction should I bring to test out?
Orks
Blood Angels
Daemons
Dark Eldar

Models look great.
I hope you don't get tabled.

Might be pretty tough to brainwash marines since they already get some seriously legit mental conditioning.

>respond to the response to the wishlist.
>wishlist writer apparently samefagging to call himself a faggot.

Unless you just don't know how nested responses work and cannot operate a browser properly.

meme this meme that

whats up with your obsession with memes??

Orks!

Ya, that was my biggest worry. I was thinking of justifying it by only using chapters that are failed or otherwise destroyed, but even that's tenuous. Why wouldn't the marine just join another chapter or Deathwatch?

I'm actually pretty hung up on at least staying fluff friendly.

Not sure what would be good. However, now that you mention daemons, do you think you could try to find out what all Chaos they have in the rules?

...

lmao coward

don't pretend to be me and shout your 1d4 boogeyman around

You need 10 models, from the factions you have:

Boyz, CSM, SM scouts, Cultists, or Wyches

They already mailed out the preview kits to lgs's so if you know the staff, you may get an early start on list building.

Jesus fuck, does anyone pay attention to posts anymore?

So I recall at one point reading about a battle around the Eye of Terror where Necron fleets showed up and imperial policy was "don't go near them". Anyone know if I'm remembering correctly, and if so, what's the source? I've tried googling it but all I'm getting is Battlefleet Gothic or homebrew Black Crusade stuff.

Interesting that Chaos got Cultists and CSM while Loyalists only got Scouts

>Do you know if Cultists summon Daemons? Or are they the homage to Necromunda gangers.

Pretty tabletop accurate for bfg. Necrons were so broken op, the only thing to do was pick up your minis and leave.

Loyalists will get more, for sure.

I'm honestly surprised all of the rules haven't leaked yet if the kits have been sent out.

I don't actually own wyches or cultists or scouts...
I could use my BA as chaos marines though, I modeled them as really renegade looking knights of blood so they're halfway there already.

Anyone have any tips on beating Eldar as Orks? He's not bringing any wraithguard, flyers, and only has 5 bikes so it not too cheesy.

haha thanks for the encouragement.

My general plan is to turbo-boost the bikes up for a turn 2 assault. If they die to shooting I will have the yncarne in his back field ready to assault on my turn. Hopefully that will buy some time for my harlequins to move up the table. They should be able to destroy anything they manage to get in close combat. Medusa have a s4 ap3 template which can be very devastating for devastator squads. If he is taking mass grav, my list should be good as my armor saves are non-existent. If he is taking bikers, my harlequins should kill them...hopefully.

Someone leaked rulebook pics for the quick turn order summary page. The army lists haven't been leaked though. When I saw them in the box they were these laminated double sided things. GW is supposed to put them out as PDFs like the BB non season 1 expansion teams were.

Interestly, from what I've found all the rules have been leaked BUT the armies. (Besides GSC and Skit Rangers)

Not complaining that Chaos got two options. Just trying to figure out what Cultists' Specialists would be.

1. Use gun
2. Point at head
3. Pull the trigger

I am sorry

Cheetahfag taught people that you don't need to read posts you want to respond to at all before leaving.

Alternatively shoot the eldar player. His injuries will force him to forfeit the game.

What would be more fluffy for a Khorne army? A Predator with Autocannons, heavy bolters, a havoc launcher, and combo bolter for mowing down hordes; a Vindicator, to rush up and murder things with explosions; or a predator with the forgeworld options for a flame cannon, heavy flamers, and destroyer blades to rush up and burn/slice thing?

Throw some Nobs in a Naut. It's an expensive combo, but absolutely devastating if done right.

Failing that, Eldar have a severe vulnerability to artillery, especially ignores cover artillery, so you could consider that, although I don't actually know what decent artillery Orks have. Maybe you should just double up on Nobz in 'Nauts.

>Shooting yourself
Cunning, but brutal

>Shooting your opponent
Brutal, but cunning

Ask the Eldar player if you can have 25% more points. If he's self-aware of his faction he probably will let you.

>more fluffy
none of them are more fluffy than the others, but the vindicator would be the most useful as well as the most aggressive because of its limited range

I'd say the vindicator since you said you'd be rushing it in to do damage fast.

Help me make this better please

Sounds like the Vindicator is the way to go then

I weep for humanity.

IoM: Ultramarines suppelement. Imperial Fists become the posterboys instead.
Aeldari: Exodites or bust. Give us our Space Wood Elves.
Orks: Just buff them or something. Poor guys.
Tau: Nerf to everything, add fluffy alien mercenaries and a experimental Kroot supplement.
Necrons: Meh, don't give a shit. Add a Trazyn supplement or something.
Tyranids: Make them overpowered.
Chaos: Just tell us that Slaanesh isn't dead or squatted.

Did anyone ever figure out what the fuck the gork/morknauts were actually meant to be fore.

I can't for the life of me figure out their intended purpose.

Orky landraiders.

Very expensive vehicles that can theoretically transport and protect your warlord while moving up the field destroying things.

The fact is can do none of these things is a failure of the rules writer.

>Death Guard confirmed for not April
>We're not even in April yet

May?

Who is the rules writer for Orks

Do they even have Assault Vehicle?

No, but they themselves can charge in combat.
