Clear pic of Shikami 3D render

Front and back view

>shikami
Here's the a nice quality dossier from rempresence

He looks so cool I almost want to switch to JSA.

So on a scale of 1-10 how unnecessarily complex is the RPG?

>tfw no one expects the failed inferior infiltration Daylami that hasn't moved all game to kill their TAG

I know it's unusual to use models from different manufacturers in Infinity, but the Raijin Trooper from Puppetswar released a while ago looks very similar.

Not really/10, depends on how you find the Heat/Momentum system.

Thought it would be a good idea to put all my images in one place for you guys to view. Prolly missing some stuff, though. So I'll update when I can.

Note that you can pull all the RPG art from the rulebook preview by selecting it, copying and creating new from clip board in Photoshop. It will paste full size.

Never realised it was the tech bee

cheers mate

>OobOy
Well said.

What the fuck this was not a joke?

Whatever it is I'd fuck it.

No, it's literally a dino-shaped Sophotect designed specifically to evac children.
Rules-wise she'd be a Sophotect with no weapons, but with Mimetism (or possibly Camo) instead.

>Delphyne is a pseudosaur with a shoulder height of 120 cm. “She” has a friendly face and her skin is colour adaptive, but pink whenever circumstances permit. Strapped to her back is a container which holds a Serum-constructing micro-fabricator, and a score of small robots which stand in for her hands.

Anyone know any good purple dinosaur proxies? I want to bring Delphyne along next time my IS plays rescue.

Fucking Nomads.

Considering what she looks like I think you should be looking at toy shelves.

I fail to see how this is an insult.

It's a backer character. Approved by CB, no less.

That's because you're a degenerate.

While I sorta agree it's laughable, it's better than all the self-interest.

whats with that picture?

mfw you get a Cube and suddenly you all think you're Jesus.

It's a backer designed character from the kickstarter funded infinity RPG. The character is as described.

That's because you fuck animals.
Degenerate.

Honestly, that's kinda cool.

No, I fuck non humans. Much different.

Antipodes are no better than dogs.

You keep making these noises. Are you trying to say something?

De Bat Oznat is best waifu.

So I have been looking for mood music to use for my Infinity RPG campaign.

The best I have found so far is the Mass Effect 1 soundtrack (2 and 3 don't work quite as well)

Any other suggestions?

The Advent Rising OST, maybe?

StarCraft 2 Terran theme for Dawn. That Mexican sounding track from Ace Combat for Corregidor.

So the backer characters art most them look like something out of tumblr or a antifa meeting problem glasses and all.

Usually those types (if not turbo autistic furries) that bother with it. Seen some kickstarters with "$10k and get your own character in!" and it was some guy with a part-time job living with his parents and he paid for it all right out of pocket. Of course it was so he could add his fursona and jack off to it most likely.

Other than that I find the RPG to be pretty meh as a game, but for more background info on the setting I like it.

>I did not get laid in college.

Tell us more, user.

So now that the RPG rules are mostly done:
Stat us, Veeky Forums.

Reminder that Felix had short bio written pastebin.com/a8hUkxCz

Kum with me if you want to live.

Was there even a single project without backer NPCs being pure cringe?

Outside of ITS, are doctors worth it?

>3 Turn game, need to spend at least one order to reach the guy, another to revive. Might need to spend a Command Token (Or two) if you fuck up the roll
>2 Orders that could be spent doing meaningful things

Also, is there no limit to how many Forward Observers you can take? For example, an AVA Total Unit like Keisotsu, why not take all Forward Observers? Same load out, specialist.

Can field a list of 20 FOs if you got the points if you want.

Also doctors depend on mission and what you're bringing. Coming from Haqqislam I take doctors regardless, but something having a dude to backup your workhorse is nice. Al Fasid knocked out? Pop him with some doctor love and get him back to shooting.

Some missions and a hidden objective want a doctor or paramedic. Doctors are more likely to succeed than a paramedic since they use their own WIP so Experimental Drug is easier to achieve. Missions like Supplies just give a bonus to opening the tech coffins if a doc/para, but sometimes you really need that +3.

Otherwise, again coming from Haqq, couple of my doctor options are good specialists for getting around. Tuareg doctors, not only rolling on 18s to heal, have infiltration and TO camo and Jannisary Ackbar Doctors can heal multiwound guys to full on top of having some armor and body to shrug off some fire and push a button.

I'll buy twenty.

And it likes what it sees.

I already ordered from them last week, dammit!

These are neat, but what would you use them for?

We're ALWAYS watching. Except on Thursdays from 4 to 7. That's when we have our weekly Starcraft tournament, and it takes all of our processing power to run everything.

Order tokens.

>we'll never get Haqq tokens with 'remove kebab' on them

>not wanting remove nomad tokens

>Not getting tokens for your CA that read "Subsume Humans" on them

Anything from Dance of the Dead

We're watching you, scum.

>not wanting Yu Jing tokens with "Second Place" on them

>Not getting a bunch of rocks and poorly drawing the Ariadna symbol on them and writing something completely illegible on them

Don't care about infinity but just dropping by to say that your OP image is the creepiest fucking thing I've seen on Veeky Forums in awhile. Damn, just looking at it makes my skin crawl.

There's no way that kid is ever going to be seen again after being carried away into the woods by the smooth, pink pedosaurus. Don't post that pic on the catalog again. Fucking hell.

Would it help if we told you it's female?

>I can tell absolutely everything about a person's personality and political preferences from their choice of eyewear.

Seriously kill yourself.

I'm still holding out for a Dog Warrior Lhost.

oh fuck me

Problem with some folk is that they can't control their own thoughts and get obsessed with things. They are probably closet pedos.
I think that saur is awful cute.

I miss my photoshop (from my dead computer) and I'm rather terrible with Gimp but what if the Shikami looked more like this edit I made?

If the Aquila guard looked like eagles just because of their names it's basically Warhammer again.

So was the locaust shown?

No locust shown. Just the Nexus Operative, and the two new units (Major Lunah and the Danavas Hacker)

Better. Swap the jacket for jump jets and it'll be golden.

Slowpoke here but what's the status on the RPG? Core almost done, splatbooks moving up on their go-lives?

Core is assembled, barring Life in the Human Sphere, Nomads, Human Edge, Gear: Lifestyles, and Gear: Services. We've seen a pre-layout adventure from Adventures in the Human Sphere. Last update on the faction books is from March 2, and says they were working on gear and adversaries.

roll to discover

Rolled 16 (1d20)

rolling to discover w/multispec visor lvl 2

Nope, nothing there.

Rolled 14 (1d20)

Just a fusilier, patrolling around- hey whats that (12in) away?

Huh.. its nothing. I must be getting paranoid

Is this right?

Good Guy throws smoke
Good Guy spends another order to move into the said smoke around a corner
Good guy has martial arts
There is a bad guy 4" away.
Good guy wants to throw a smoke grenade that clips the bad guy, so it covers any advance and he won't get shot before he beats him with his CC weapon. Is this right?

Good guy makes a PHY-6 roll (Might end up -3 if range is right). It's -6 because he cannot see out of the smoke himself and it's speculative. It's also an entire order to do so.
The Bad Guy has two options. Since the template is clipping him, he can make a Dodge - 3 roll or he can just try to shoot the guy throwing a grenade at a -6 (He can see the guy through the smoke since technically the guy is making an attack)

Right?

Yup

Good guy should not clip bad guy with the smoke for that reason. Bad guy can F2F and cause the smoke to fail. Good guy should just make sure his base will clip the smoke, he'll be out of sight the whole way, and stealth will make it so the enemy can only react with CC skills or Dodge.

Guy can choose to dodge. However, smoke is targetless and not targeting the badguy so the ARO can't be shoot.

If it was a regular grenade which has to target the badguy he could shoot back, this is not the case.

In all honesty, you are better off tossing the smoke so it doesn't touch the badguy. As long as the Good Guy is still touching the smoke, he is in smoke and thus cannot be seen.

>Good Guy throws smoke
But PanO doesn't have smoke.

Datz have tons of smoke.

exactly.

I've tried statting up Felix using the app and 12LP system. I admit that my career choices were partly to max up specific skills rather than fluff, but I guess Corporate was Felix undercover.

So how exactly does an O Yoroi work?

It's mostly a generic heavy TAG on the cheap side with a mediocre primary weapon and only 7ARM, but comes with crazykoalas. It's also got some random CC crap it'll probably never use unless your opponent somehow sneaks something into CC past the flamethrower and koalas.

Actively it functions similar to a normal one, but with stealth for better mobility. Keep it in the midfield to get proper use out of those crazykoalas.

Question, should I get some Zond bots for my Clockmaker? A 3 point model, it might be useful as an extra order, but beyond that I cannot see how.

Units with G: Servant do not provide an order. Their purpose is to extend the range of your doctor or engineer so they don't need to risk running across the board themselves, or so they can run towards a patient and an objective at the same time.

Ah, thanks for that. I guess ill think about them then, but for now they are not a priority, so I will proxy a spare Fastpanda until they are sold separately.
I dont want to buy the support pack, then Clockmaker looks terrible, and all I want from it is a Zond.

Can perimeter weapons trigger mines and perimeter weapons?

I thought TAGs couldnt use stealth?

Also when are AROs triggered, during movement or after movement?

Is stealth only useful if I'm moving into melee?

>Also when are AROs triggered, during movement or after movement?
After each skill, and all are resolved simultaneously.
E.g. if you move a guy so that an enemy sees him, but another enemy has his back turned, the guy who sees him gets an ARO. If you then decide to move into the back-turned guy's ZoC, he gets an ARO then (Change Facing).

Wait.

I thought AROs were triggered at the expenditure of an order---not targeting.

I also thought if you make any kind of attack roll from within or behind smoke, enemies can now see you and ARO.

If that's the case, wouldn't a guy throwing smoke grenades from within smoke provoke an ARO regardless if his template touches the bad guy?

>Also when are AROs triggered, during movement or after movement?

During movement.

Active player declares skill

Check for AROs

Declare second skill if first skill was short skill

Check if new models can ARO

So say my model comes around a corner on his mobement then declares a BS attack on the enemy. Would the enemy have one or two AROs?

Just one. Models must declare an ARO during the first activation in the order that entitles them to one (unless the active trooper is a marker, different kettle of fish).

Taking the sequence above.

You spend an order, choosing your guy at the corner, and declare move as the first short skill.

You move your guy.

You and the enemy check to see if any enemy troopers get to ARO (most often if he enters their line of fire).

For the sake of example one does. Your enemy chooses BS attack as his ARO.

For your second short skill, you declare BS attack.

No new models who didn't previously have an ARO see you, because you didn't move, so there is no new AROs.

There is now a face to face roll between you and your enemy's BS attacks.

Anyone have a good suggestion for unique narrative missions or campaigns? I've tried finding Campaign Paradiso online but can't, however I've read it has good campaign rules.

And what Stealth does is make it so if your final destination is out of LOS you dont trigger AROs while moving?

Is this how people sneak the O Yoroi around or is there something more?

A very restricted set of AROs, namely change facing and hacking, can be taken without line of site, provided the active model is in the Zone of control (8 inches) of the enemy wishing to ARO. Stealth means simply being in 8 inches is not enough, the O yoroi has to do something loud.

line of sight*

Stealth just means you can move through an enemy Zone of Control without triggering ARO as long as you stay out of LOS and don't shoot at them.

I'm not sure where you're getting this "sneaky O-Yoroi" thing from, it's technically got stealth but the thing is huge, has huge guns, and no special deployment or movement shenanigans. If it somehow ends up behind an enemy figure it's not going to waste time being sneaky, it'll just blow his brains out.
