The profit/loss ratio for US middle eastern operations is still massively negative. The total is at least $2 trillion so far, not counting future veteran benefits. The resources don't come close to making up for that, especially since those are still a long ways from being "secured" at all.

The nazis believed that international jewish kabals were conspiring to undermine German (and European in general) interests for more shekels, and believed that all jews should be punished for it. To draw an equivalency between these two things is absurd.
