Through intense training with Ancient Blade Wizards you have unlocked the ability to manifest a SOUL BLADE, a unique weapon, a singular expression of the power of your soul. Soul Blades do not need to be blades and their appearance is as varied as their wielders so feel free to go wild with the description. Roll a random power for your Soul Blade here powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Random
Or you could go Hard Mode and come up with your own unique powers and effects
If no one cares about this Buso Renkin Zanpakuto bullshit then the thread becomes a Magic Weapon thread
>black dragon katana >burns with the black fire of consumed souls >fires burn for seven days and seven nights
Trash-tier thread for the worst kind of rp self inserts
Robert Sanders
Well if you don't want to participate in the create a unique weapon thread you could always not bump or hide the thread or post a generic magic weapon you know anything other than tired ass shitposting
I got vehicle physiology, apparently I can turn into any vehicle, or grant myself the powers and abilities of any vehicle.
At first I thought it was dumb, then about 0.5 seconds later I realized I could turn into a tank or jet or battleship and fuck up everyone and everything around me.
I'm like a human Transformer with every possible form.
I'm picturing an old and rusted blade, that looks worse for wear (maybe not quite as bad as pic related) but still carries a sharp edge and is unbreakable. I'm not the kind of guy who has a cool flashy power like or or probably most people in this thread, but instead the blade carries imprints of the spirits of many warlords, sages, and strategists throughout the ages, and imparts upon me wisdom. So I'll never be flashy, but hard to best in the end. As I age I'll probably come into it, but as a young person I probably hate receiving this power, don't understand it, don't want to listen to the wisdom the blade has, but upon my death will pass a bit of my own spirit into the blade, until some other soul manifests it later.
This is actually really fitting because one possible meaning of my name is "elderly". Also I typically don't make flashy characters, choosing instead to play thieves or fighting men, though currently I'm actually GMing a game.

OP here Probably should've made a bigger deal out of maybe possibly describing the weapons
powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Conceptual_Water_Manipulation ...what? So this ranges from basic water-bending, to rewriting the physics potentially of how all water everywhere works. Assuming my opponents are standard organics, can't I just selectively make the water in their bodies work a tiny bit differently to instantly kill them? This seems a bit broken.
I appreciated the clear cut differences in power that system provided.

>you versus the guy your girl told you not to worry about I'm not sure you're serious. I mean, there were clear cut differences in power within a single person's moveset like Shikai, Bankai, Resurreccion and Segunda Etapa (unless you were a Fullbringer or Quincy), but powerlevels were literally all over the place in Bleach. Everybody jobbed at one point.
Carter Long
>Despair Empowerment Sounds like I need to buy some proper intimidating looking armor.
How does this even work? Do I just get all the powers everyone else gets or none powers?
Jack Kelly
its your make believe game so what do u want your sword to do. maybe you get 20 swords instead, or a sword that can split up and be shared, and anyone who wields one shares power with any other person with one. seems like an anime bad guy power.
Guess I'm restricted to a desert setting if I want my soul blade to be effective. Invisibility has me thinking rogue/assassin, so lets make it a dagger. Because it requires sand to be useful, let's also make it out of glass because why the fuck not
Nice. I've always been fond of hunting and predator motiffs. I may not be dueling my opponents in scenes fit for song, but with a little creativity these powers will get the job done.

I think it would be the weapon that could turn into any vehicle as opposed to you.
Ayden Gray
>cant operate any kind of aircraft or armored vehicle >lack the skill for even large trucks >potentially capable of some watercraft, but operational range is limited >legally not allowed to into forklifts or limos

I can tolerate a retarded blade-design for a fantasy weapon, but why make the handgrip unergonomic like that?
Joshua Lewis
Maybe the person that forged it had stupid dimples in his hand that those spikes fit into?
I'm thinking a dagger with an unusually long two hand length hilt. As I fight I crystallize the blood on the blade increasing its length or use my kill move of stabbing the blade into the opponent and turning all their blood into knives
Andrew Mitchell
It's not like you can't practice, although aircraft would be kinda sketchy to "practice" operating. Once you learn how to fly a gyrocopter you don't need to worry about laws since you can just fly the fuck out of there. If you need to emergency land, you can make it into one of those things that astronauts re-enter the atmosphere in and parachute down. And maybe you can't operate a tank but you can operate an armored truck with mounted guns.
I suppose I get the ability to unlock other people's soul blades? It'd probably look like a shitty knife that forced people's souls to materialize when stabbed
FOOLISH WIZARDS, NOW NOBODY CAN STOP ME HAHAHAHAHHAHAA

Anime & Manga Materialization No shit. That's not one I would have thought of. And it's bull crap powerful too: >>Ultimate Weaboo Capabilities User can bring to life and wield the worlds created by Anime and Manga into reality and may only be restricted by the sources or their own imagination/creativity. Although it says I may need blu ray or dvds to make it work, so I have a PS4 that can control anything already imagined and produced on disk....
>Toy Manipulation This suits me. I shall be a trickster!
>The wizard appears as a regular town-jester and toy merchant >Bestows magical toys on innocent children to guard them against their bullies and evil stepdads >Give many gifts to wealthy and poor families alike >When shit gets discovered, the sword comes out, and the wizard turns into the commander of toy army.
> Always incredibly calm while fighting, can even enter "calm rages" > Send my opponents into a frenzy, or just through them off by making them unsettled
Alternatively I can just be a real chill dude

「A Soul Can't be Cut」 Destructive Power:A Speed:B Range:E Durability :C Development Potential:C Ability: 「Rules of Nature」-When activated, technology of any sort(read:anything invented by humans, or that wouldn't be found in nature) around it experiences a rapid decay, being reduced to dust in the course of seconds. The wielder is exempt from this effect, though if he was to throw or lose the items, they would be affected.
Joseph Jackson
1. I think you have the wrong thread, 2. Rules of Nature doesn't let you run up vertical surfaces and cut mechs in half? Fucking bullshit.
Connor Wilson
Well, it's a soul blade, so I made a sword stand. Also I guess a enhancement to the users physical abilities should definitely be in it, point taken.
>Mathematics Manipulation : The power to manipulate and alter the laws and foundations of mathematics. Sub-power of Science Manipulation. This does sound like I can can break the world with it. Even if it's a tabletop game. Especially if it's one.
The Tek'saas Instrument : Although this weapon looks like a spear at first, a cautious watcher will switfly discover it is not the tip, but the shaft that harnesses the powers of Math. The pole is actually comprised of hundreds of rotating, numbered cylinders, like some antique calculator would be. By moving those cylinders to form new rules, the user can change the laws of mathematics, and make impossible odds work in their favor.
>cut open an arm sized portal to grab milk from fridge >open a door sized portal to stumble from bed straight into washroom >open a portal behind a bank to save myself the walk to an ATM >put punctuality on my resume and baffle employers with my pristine clothes and seeming omnipresence >start courier service and charge enormous sum for instantaneously delivered packages in perfect condition >effortlessly assassinate anyone by stabbing through portal instead of walking through it
The weapon will have to be a dagger or a short sword. Otherwise it will be too unwieldy which is pointless. It's not like I need a long blade since the reach is effectively infinite since I can just stab and cut through through the portals I open.
Jaxon Green
Jesus christ, this is literally "grizzled male human fighter: the weapon".
