Pathfinder General /pfg/

What is the evilest character you've ever made? Played? What were they like? How much of a REAL VILLAIN were they?

>Actually good general replaced by yet another animu gurl
Good night, sweet prince

...

...

Nice falseflagging, everyone knows that the guy hating on kitsune animu images as opening posts to pathfinder generals isn't a literal neo-nazi from /pol/ that keeps bringing up /pol/ stuff every other thread to derail things for 245 posts and 84 pictures omitted, click reply to view

>imblying
Both this and the last general are equally cancerous and the OPs of each deserve to be shot!

Well last time I talked about my Drow who was enslaved by the party. This time I'll talk about my mad goblin alchemist who likes to commit arson and blow things up.

He's working up his way to make zombies and place implanted bombs into their bodies so that they explode when they die.

Just gonna link these since new thread.

Yeah same here I'd like to hear what they thought about all the characters cause the game definitely has some quality apps.

I'm interested to see what the reviewanon has to say.

Get fucked. This is why we can't have nice things, /pfg/. Here's your (you).

Fuck off. Both you and hitler should just die

>Hitler should die
user, I got some news for you...

How bad an idea is it to mix avowed, Path of War, and Spheres of Might?

>necroing the shit thread

>necroning
>when it wasn't even dead
>when it was first but some faggot couldn't stand anime picture

>when it was first
No, Hitler was first, but he was rightly nuked.
This general deserves the same

Yeah, I meant it was posted before that other one. Really, posting a second thread is infinitely worse than anime picture in the OP.

Should greatswords be carried on the hip or the back? What about bows?

is there any organization that would hunt down necromancers or witches? have players running to a bolt hole from the city guard and need something to fuck that up for them.

wew lads

>ywn play with this

Why live anons

Personally, I say hip. Bows should go across the back.

Rolled 2, 2 = 4 (2d4)

need these for... reasons

The church of Pharasma and Sarenrae are vehemetly anti-undead.
As for Witches, depends on the kind of Witch, but iirc theirs a few Hellknight Orders that are dedicated to fighting non-normal spellcasters.

Also, i think there's that one Iomedaean fanatic who makes anti-witch NotChick-Tracts

Greatswords aren't carried on the hip OR back, they're too big.

You have a squire carry it, and then pull the sword out and let them carry the scabbard.

Or you just carry it like a suitcase and pull it out when you need it.

Lanceranon was asking for artwork for his lancer girl, so I'm here to provide some art for him! I hope some of you find use for these as well.

Wew lad

Morgase: 38DD, 23, 34

Normal swords are too long to be carried on the back, actually - try drawing a sword from there sometime. What happens is unless the scabbard is only attached at one point (in which case it'll be constantly smacking against your ass) you can't get your hand high enough to pull it out.

Greatswords weren't stored in a sheathe or anything like that. They were carried on the shoulder, with the pommel in the crook of your arm to leave your hand free. Sam as any weapon that was too long to be easily placed on the hip.

For convenience, given pathfinder always assumes Sheathes are a thing? Your best bet is to put in on the hip.

As for bows?
They basically always go on the back, in nearly every country of origin I can remember, and often have a case for carrying them to keep the weather off the string and wood, since that shit can easily get damaged. I don't know the proper name for such a carrying case, and I believe they were more prevalent the further east you get.

Bit more.

also would anyone hunt tengu or Kitsune?

More!

Not really, Kitsune are generally amiable rascals, but the Tengu would most certainly be discriminated against.

But organized hunts? Not unless you found a WHOLE bunch of racists.

thanks

Here's a personal favorite, though the woman might be a touch str-focused for a dex kinda girl.

Know what? I'm putting all of these in an imgur to make this easier on all of us.

W-what about dragons/dragons2.

I have to know.

Oh boy, here we go.

Look man there are some bigguns there.

imgur.com/a/wU8pR

Aaaand there we go! I'll throw bits and pieces I find laying around when I can.

I guess, but there's a few shapeshifters too

>would anyone hunt tengu
No, at least not in the Inner Sea.
Tengu in the Inner Sea are found primarily in the Shackles, where other sailors and pirates consider them to be good luck to have around and to be on the ship. Tengu are considered Jinx Eaters, and sit in the crew to absorb bad luck.

Though, a particular Tengu who makes an ass of himself, or brings bad luck, would be shown no mercy and be keelhauled, or possibly plucked and quartered

Found the dregs of some in another folder I have, hope you are happy!

I think we can just safely assume everyone is exactly as they appear to be in their character art.

thats no fun

So, greatswords seem to be rather large. That's fine for adventures and battlefields, but what about for self-defence in a city, tavern, town? What's the best next weapon more suitable, and less cumbersome, for closed spaces with more people around?

a shortsword.

Halberd.

Dagger.

>picks a weapon just as big

Daggers. No really - there's a reason people carried knives around.
Swords in general, actually, were sidearms.

Halberds were weapons for guardsmen.

A sharpened shovel. Worked in the trenches.

That's great and all, but the guy was asking for self-defense weapons.

In open spaces. Shit's a five to six foot long rod with a bigass axe head on it. It is not made for tight spaces.

Thanks user. Gonna bookmark both of these.

looks like they just revealed the final core race for Starfinder, a bunch of psychic bugs that are literally addicted to their own hipster level.

Which weapons are best for a Switch-Hitter: Falchion, Greatsword, or Greataxe, something else?

There's no such thing as a switch hitter

Culverin

Musket ax

I wonder if the option self-drugging thing is going to have a real mechanical effect. Seems like it should.

who cares about GenderPoliticsFinder

How the fuck do I build a familiar to be useful in combat?

Eldritch Guardian with a Mauler Familiar.

Isn't this basically sci-fi gnomes? the whole seeking options and individualism thing strikes me as pandering to the kind of weirdos that like to play gnomes already.

Are any of the core races Small-sized?

Weapons/Shields my character carries at any given time:
>Greatsword
>Lucerne Hammer
>Earth Breaker

>Longsword
>Flail
>Heavy Pick
>Shortsword
>Blackjack
>Daggers x4
>Gauntlets (spiked)

>Heavy Steel Shield (Spiked)
>Buckler (Spiked)

>+5 Composite Longbow (40 arrows)
>Sling (20 bullets)
>Javelins x5

Ysoki.

We know that the Ysoki (basically Ratfolk) are. Shirren might be, but we don't know for certain.

The ratfolk i think

The only thing Paizo did right was realizing ratfolk are core race tier

N-not that i would ever shill ratfolk.

...

I want to pet that mouse.

You're not doing it right.
Yo, I wanna _pet that rat.

Friends, we have something important to discuss. DHB CLAIMS that his reverse trap, Essa, is flat as a board. However we have proof that she is in fact a 32 I cup.

How does she hide it? I don't think just binding would be enough.

magic

I'm glad I'm not the only one who carries multiple daggers. Wouldn't it be lighter and easier to carry a Monk's Spade instead of a Greatsword and Earth Breaker both, though, unless one of them is what you focus on?

Don't particularly care for monk spades, the look doesn't fit the character.

autism

>proof
That's not how this works at all.

He was a cleric of the homebrew god of misery. It was an evil campaign, which for the rest of the party meant rational self-interest and a lack of regard for collateral damage. For him it meant casual mass murder. An (incomplete) list of the shit he pulled:
>Dominating (formerly) effective leadership during a natural disaster, turning what should have been a smooth recovery into a clusterfuck
>Using Weather Control and Earthquake to cause "natural" disasters
>Funding criminal, terrorist, and cultist groups
>Following heroic groups into dungeons, then Resurrecting the evil dude they killed
>Summoning high-level demons into low-level villages
>Poisoning the snowpack
>Using Control Weather to disrupt agriculture
>Creating undead with instructions to harass trade routes during a famine

While the rest of the party was off mugging peasants and lighting orphanages on fire, he was manufacturing regional crises and then sabotaging the recovery effort

How useful is to carry a reach weapon like a halberd, a guisarme, or a bardiche?

Let's you stab people standing in the street from a roof, or vice versa.

Bra of holding.

Reach is incredibly useful if you like AoOs, if you like hitting things without being engaged by their own weapon, if you like hitting things bigger than you that would get to take your head off in response to your approach, and so on.

Also try to carry - even if limited - a ranged weapon. The best - due to accuracy - by mid-high levels is a firearm such as a double-pistol, but a bow will do as well. Alternatively some frag grenades if you've got access...

There are few things worse than standing there like a goddamn idiot while some enemy attacks you from where you cannot even reach. Backup ranged weapon: ALWAYS.

I get so triggered by people not even bringing something as simple as a sling JUST IN CASE

I want to introduce Essa to her femininity then mind break her into a cock sleeve.

Are tiefling claws, worth the sacrifice of losing the Darkness spell-like ability? How well do they work as backup weapons?

I want to introduce you to a shotgun barrel then skull break you into a corpse.

Ya hanging in there, /pfg/?

Very dependent on your build. A rogue or Shadow sorcerer is going to get a lot of mileage out of Darkness. A barbarian would be better off with claws.

I'm super. Thanks for asking.

I hope crazy stalker yandere user is doing okay too.

>barbarian
>claws

nigga a barbarian would be better off with the bite, because they get claws from the beast totem rage power

Absolutely. There are three key things here:
- the Darkness spell is irrelevant against anything with darkvision
- natural attacks like claws don't give a penalty to your other attacks (though you can't use a claw attack and use that hand with a weapon at the same time)
- high Strength or sneak attack-like effects contribute damage in a multiplicative factor to every separate attack you make

>- the Darkness spell is irrelevant against anything with darkvision
If you're going to fighting mostly humans, Darkness is a godsend.

That's what I've got other party-members for, though. Why should I invest even a little bit of money into "just in case" when I have alternate things to do? Go ahead, shoot the flying enemy. Even if he's the last one remaining, then that means I can loot his friends for THEIR ranged weapons, use it, and then abandon it. I don't need to waste my inventory with junk.

>dumping int to 5 but having 14 Wisdom and 18 Charisma

How do I justify this anons?

>Waste my inventory

Right up until there comes a ranged enemy you can't reach and you're stuck jerking off because you were too fucking lazy to buy a sling and a few bullets.

The play by post portion of my game is going great! The paladin is fucking everything up wonderfully and heading straight long into the plot I expected her to!

Pfft, is anyone else joining in on the fun?

No education

But what if she is educated? Could she have a learning disability of some sort? I was planning for her to be the apprentice of a shaman- so she'll have SOME education, but maybe she's just slow?

Retarded it is

>finally convince my GM to let me play psionics
>figure out a perfect build, know exactly what i'm gonna play
>game is in two days
>have absolutely no background for my character for explanation as to how or why he learned to be a psion
HELP

I'm going to a funeral in a few days. Honestly I'm sad.

The others are more reserved because they have double digit intelligences
