I recently joined a pathfinder campaign for the first time. My first character died so I need to make a new one.

I know Pathfinder is supposed to be really minmaxy and animu, so I want to make a dragoon that can achieve jump to space. Two questions

1. How do I optimize my jump?

2. How do I deal my fall damage to the enemy, but not to myself?

Just like the attempts at overmeming the Rory character, he's hoping that after reposting the leaked logs a few times people will start to see him as the victim and forget that he was the shithead who leaked the logs in the first place. Being a FF dragoon in Pathfinder is very difficult. It's brought up here every once and a while, but it just doesn't work until really late levels. Like beyond 10th.

I've always played DnD/Pathfinder as a game where the characters are aware of what a Fort save and a hitpoint are. But playing games with strangers has taught me that some people play their characters as though they're completely unaware of the mechanics of their universe.

Which is correct? Which is more fun? Which do you prefer?
