The first wave of a tyranid invasion is spores and flying creatures, it says it right there in the codex. FMC spam with spore troops is fluffy. So sayeth Cruddace.

How do I make this work? How do you even run Warriors? They have fuck all in ranged capabilities but kitting them for melee makes them super overcosted...

Swarms of warriors don't exist, they cost a minimum of 90 points per brood, they straight up can't be fielded in numbers.

do necrons lose a little of their personality every time they are reincarnated/rebuilt.

I realize some necrons didn't have much personality left after the initial transfer to metal body but I could have sworn they lost a little more of their will/personality every time they were re-forged.

Im planning on starting a Death Korps of Krieg army, playing them as normal IG, thinking of having a few Basilisks while the rest of the Infantry holding positions.

Now here's the thing: Is IG viable? I mean, im not playing only to win, but i'd really like not to be the guy with the army who always gets wrecked in every game by Necron/Tau/Eldar/Anything. I want to have a chance.

Why not play using the real death korps rules? They seem to be on par with IG for power level.

I use both names. Though I'll only use Tempestus/Scions about as often as I use Astartes.

I like to think the grunts use storm trooper, while the more educated/ancient organizations use the elaborate names. Space marines are the sorts of characters that sound better in my mind when booming a bunch of faux-latin.

All I wanted was a nice fanservice rts game. Not fucking three races as starter, Chaos or Necron expac and final IG expac and that's fucking it.

4 Enginseers attached to 3 Servitors with an Atlas Recovery tank for 8 2+ repair rolls (half I can split to whatever the Atlas touches) with re-rolls for 275 points.

Is this too much for a repair crew for an Emperor's Fury formation in a 2v2 Apocalypse sized game? I kinda want to double up for up to 16 HP per turn and escort them with Lemans and Guardsmen.

Do I find them inside the Codex, or should I download them from FW? Some people where I am don't want to play with FW rules.

So, just played 2K with my Tau vs Black Templars. Lost due to friend getting lucky objective cards late game but man did I do some damage. Outflank is stupidly underrated, I had almost complete board control with stealthsuits. shit was fun as fuck.

The Lasgun gets better in volume. Have a 50 man blob buffed with first rank second rank fire at something. Then realize you can cast Prescience on them.

Yeah I guess so. It'd help if I wrote down the effects on my list, I guess. Question also, how do you keep a Vindicare alive better? Mine picked off two dangerous dude but got punked Turn 3. Sword Brother with powerfist and a meltabiker. Friend caught on that that guy needs to go ASAP.

Also another dumbass move of mine is to have the Fireblade on the front of the squad. My love for heroic leadership and posing kinda cost me a lot of extra firepower. Was awesome though, overwatch with him decimated an assault squad.

The airships in GoI look a damn sight better than the Kharadron ones IMO (when they're not on fire, anyway) , those just look really cartoonish and odd rather than cool. If someone was to port the Edge Chronicles ships into GoI I would be a happy man. All you'd need to do is put sails and a flight-rock on a Galleon.
