Humans, Orcs, Skaven, Dwarves, Troll, and Ogre
Forgeworld has some starplayers, human variant heads, rat ogre and the most expensive deathroller ever

so it's an optional skill which is also nerfed and effectively doesn't exist period

The LRB is effectively replaced by the 2016 rules.
You have the option of adding Piling On to your leagues, however they nerfed it to the point of near-uselessness. In order to use Piling On, you have to spend a Team Re-roll (in addition to having your player put on the ground).
There are some special play cards that have wizard-like functions, yes. It's also entirely possible it will return in future Death Zones books, which is where most of the league play rules and a number of updated teams were released already.
