in my homebrew, Succubi are the result of pacts that demons make with mortals for the usual (power, riches, magic ect ect) and in exchange the mortal must supply their first born as a vessel for the demon to "merge" with because hell fucking sucks and they would even be willing to become something not quite them to escape from it. Sometime in their early 20s the poor child will "wake" and because this pact travels down bloodlines the demon makes their host very promiscuous because the pact will end if the bloodline dies out so they basically want to minimize the chances of that happening so in effect succubi and incubi are baby crazy.
There's only one demon involved per pact though so as long as the original host is alive, all their children and grandchildren are 100% mortal. However since a succubi and incubi are just "possessed" they still live lives of normal length except maybe a little longer because they are capable of some minor demonic magic. when the original host dies one of their progeny or progeny's progeny becomes next in line to "wake". I wanted to make succubi that a player could play without having to be evil yet still keep elements of the whole sex demon thing so that they aren't just reskinned tieflings without making sex 100% of their defining characteristic such as making them run on sperm energy or something like that.
I used this for a tiefling with wrings. I have one other that I used for her.
