>its a big rift
>its bad

I saved you all from having to click that.

what's the point in even writing something?

At the very least, old abby fucked up, because his crimson path is heading 90° away from terra. He destroys cadia, only to fuck up on getting it where he wants to go.

>clicks anyway

GW are such morons. A cicatrix is a type of healed scar.

Padding

My guess is they wanted/needed more articles in the article per day until release.

I kind of figured this would be the most lack luster so far.

You can't stop me

Not him but, it's your time to use however you want. It's just kind of a waste to use it on reading that.

>galaxy wide temporal fluctuations
here we go with another aossification

don't expect events to have dates anymore

Fuck just show me the new marine models already.

What if Ynnead kills Slanesh, but then she elevates itself as a new Chaos god? Just like The Horned King in AoS. And it would be fitting for the always-doomked eldar.

>Slaanesh confirmed for dunk
I never asked for this.

While I'm not really on board with 'Kill Slannesh' I would really love to see other gods take them on as equals. Ynnead and an Ascended Emperor for example.

Calling the giant tear in the galaxy an Evil Scar is about right though.

its not though evil it is healed. It likes calling a field with flowers on it a dog field.

>Current Warzones of the 41st Millenium!
>All Human v Enemy
>NPC races get cucked.
>What's a 'beeltan'?

>What if Ynnead kills Slanesh, but then she elevates itself as a new Chaos god?
that's the plan, yes

even in AoS the horned has nothing to do with slaanesh, it's all about the elves that kidnapped it and are going to replace it

Clearly, you found a point in writing something, so you tell me?

Except its clearly an open wound.

That's the preview of 8e lore?
youtube.com/watch?v=kBoesEFWZnM

I just want the Void Dragon to break free and split the Adeptus Mechanicus in half.

Half siding with the Void Dragon and possibl any "oldcrons" under it's command and the other half who believe Big E is the machine God.

Fingers crossed something like that happens for the next big shift in the story.

>its a big rift
For you

I dont think many of them actually, deeply believe in Emps as the machine God, I think its just a "maybe at best". It would be much more likely that any of those not in direct contact with the Void Dragon's works would likely think it was just high-tier tech heresy.

Just business as normal for Xenos. Don't matter, just the mooks killed by Chaos and Imperium or the plucky sidekicks dying to help them out.

So this means that the Tau are going to be seeing a ton of Chaos soon. Seeing as the rift curls arond them.

In fact it pins them against Orks and Necrons. The interesting thing is that the "friendliest" nation nearby is the Ultramarine homeworld Macragge to the south. Maybe we'll see more teaming up between them?

And Tyranids are pressuring Macragge from the south right?

Blue Marines teaming up with Blue people.

Pottery.

Isn't Ultramar supposed to be in a huge fight with Chaos and particularly Nurgles forces right now? Think they'll be a bit busy to help.

Maybe Tau team up with Imotekh instead seeing as both Him and the Tau believe in keeping other races as vassals nations so they've got some common ground for negotiations.

You noticed how xenos were absent from girlyman's "beware the crusade is coming" comment right?

That was weird. Since today's fluff release said his Crusade is targeting Xenos too.

Maybe Xenos are just so unimportant now he didn't think they needed mention? I mean he probably looked at the Imperium, saw it'd been beating back all the Xenos for more than 9000 years with ease, and realized that Xenos aren't much of a threat really.

Chaos on the other hand just wiped out Cadia and tore the galaxy in half.

Very possible. Especially since an eldar helped bring him back.

I know I like in AoS I can bring a wide range of units from different races. Maybe we're moving towards that a little?

Considering how many planets get nommed by the nids every century, and that Ghazgkull is going to unite the orkoid race soon, I'd say they better keep their backs covered. Maybe they can make an alliance with the Ynnead, so they have to specify which xeno is legal to burn on the pyre now.

It's a scar, healed doesn't mean it's fixed, it's just that the scar comes after the wound is ripped open. Calling a big fucking mark of a torn up area a scar isn't anything new.

There better be a Sautekh Necrons vs Chaos warzone

The rift is right next to their territory

Tau and Necrons fighting Chaos. Necrons teach the Tau what exactly Chaos is, and they migrate in masse to the Farsight enclaves? Necrons discover how to possess Tau to become flesh again? Maybe to make a different army, with necron and tau technology fused together?

Eww no. Just no.

Necrons only interest in other species is subservience and a few interesting individuals. And why the hell would they be using shit tier tau bodies for getting bodies back when tau live like 40 years max.

You mean the Horned Rat?

he was ALWAYS a Chaos god, just a minor one.

Aren't there tons of individual necron factions out there? Weren't some of them looking for the way to become organic again (not resurrect the necrontyr race as it was due to them being utterly disseased)? Plus, both Tau and Necrontyr have almost no presence in the Warp, so it would ft.

the one thing that is actually new there, is that time is fucked up in the worlds along the rift. this means that there are worlds with crazy different technologies, some far more advanced than the imperium.

there will be elite units with badass weapons from these time accerated worlds

They want bodies, but they also want to be immortal ubermensch. They'd want something more along the lines of an Eldar or a Custodes in biology.

Hell some of them just want to become energy beings like the c'tan

>And Tyranids are pressuring Macragge from the south right?
tyranids got sucked into the rift and all died prolly

Wouln't that be funny? Tyrannids go for the Round 2 on Maccragge and just before they arrive they got sucked into the Warp. Poor bugs just can't catch a break against the blueberries.

i honestly think thats what happened. thats what the sirens storm is.

god help me

>Worlds along the rift get torn into the warp
>still uphold firm belief in the Emperor
>Mechanicus is harsh on any possible tech heresy
>10,000 warp years later
>everything there is Ogryn-tier now

>>everything there is Ogryn-tier now
Some Space Marine chapters get stuck on a time bubble, and they devolve into ogryns, while still making space marines. Ogryn Space Marines!

>Some Space Marine chapters get stuck on a time bubble, and they devolve into ogryns, while still making space marines. Ogryn Space Marines!
>[your favourite chapter] happens to be in this particular time bubble
>nothing changes

Actually somewhat kind of interested to learn more about the Imperium Nihilus. Just a bunch of planets completely seperated from the seat of the Imperium left only with fringe and fanatical Inquisitorial and Space Marine elements to keep them in check. I hope to see a lot more Renegade armies now.

It can be the opposite as well, you never know. DAoT forgeworlds when?

I think they're going to use this time-fuckery to return some other primarchs, revive extinct races or create new ones.

Good. More xenos needed

when will GW realise that with all these changes they NEED new writers

No they don't. Competency is expensive and a frighteningly large portion of the 40k fanbase will buy and push whatever they put out regardless.

>tfw Chaos still doesn't get shiny new DAoT-toys

´

Whats going on with the Astro telepathic duct, is that like the Beacon on Pharos

Now I have some proper justification to make whatever background fluff I want for my Imperial Truth renegades without asshats constantly telling me "the Ecclesiarchy would just wipe them out".

>To those unfortunates on the far side, it is far worse…

What does this mean? What's going on with the northern half of the Imperium?

warhammer-community.com/2017/04/30/warhammer-40000-watch-the-new-teaser-nowgw-homepage-post-1/

So does this mean we really are getting super space marines? the space mariniest of all space marines?

Why is Gryphonne IV on the map still?
I thought they didn't list dead worlds on the map, and that world got ate.
Unless they're retconning Tyranid victories now

It means they've been cut off from the rest of the Imperium, which happens to include holy terra and bobby g, so while the rest of the imperium gets to enjoy new hope with a primarch and a crusade coming up their half is isolated surrounded by chaos and probably fucked.

>So does this mean we really are getting super space marines?

Yep. The fluff is getting the Age of Sigmar treatment as well.

>After Chaos conquered the Galaxy/Mortal Realms, Roboute Guilliman/Sigmar forges the nuMarines/Stormcast Eternals and launches a new crusade to free the Galaxy/Mortal Realms from the clutches of the chaos gods.

The first news about the state of the galaxy says that they will explore the Hadex Anomaly and the Sautekh Dynasty in the coming days. What do you think they are going reveal, and how will this reflect on the T'au?

Blueberry genocide.

So the giant swirling death pool in the center. That's not another eye? Just the galactic core?

>What do you think they are going reveal,
hadex anomoly is when the nids got slurpied into the warp and all died.

its both, it looks like

>Xenos helped to restore him
>Chaos fucking up the Ultras is the first thing he sees when he wakes up.
>He died by the hand of a demon primarch.

Hardly amazing.

When Abaddon destroyed the Cadian Pylons, the Eye of Terror surged forth. The resulting unleashing of long suppressed energies cracked the walls of reality resulting in a Path made from Warpstorms to form the Cadian Gate to the Eastern Fringes. The crack concentrates in the middle for some reason.

The remaining Necron Pylons are fighting a losing battle to keep the rest of the galaxy from suffering the same fate as the parts swallowed by the Warp. Worse yet that daemons and heretics are continuing targeting them. The galaxy is beyond fucked and those new marines are a futile effort unless Girlyman can stop the Eye and the Great Rift from expanding and wiping out existence.

N-no! We are natural allies! The Greater Good!

Do you really think a 60 million years old being, described as "hyperlogical strategist" who has the full power of 80 tomb worlds, inhabited by billions the technologically most advanced race the galaxy has ever seen, at his disposal, and who will stop at nothing to bring back the Necrontyrs former glory, can do anything against a blue fish-guy who gets anime-angry?

What can anime-anger do against an Infinite Necron Fleet?

The Sautekh have unlocked the power of the Ymga Monolith.

I just wanted to point out that Tau plot-armour will somehow save the day, even if they get spitroasted between the mightiest Necron dynasty and the Hive Fleets of Kraken/Behemoth

But why?

Imotekh gets literally nothing from destroying the Tau and he isn't the type of dude to do it just for the shits and giggles since his whole dynasty has been set up as strategists with DEEP PLANS and shit

Easy.
There's nothing left to take from them

He wants to conquer the galaxy and wash it with the blood of the lesser races. He already subjugated or wiped out hundreds of races.

Prior to these events, the Sautek Necrons have been expanding into Tau space conquering a few worlds in the process.

they'll pay dearly for that insult

Guys, listen.
Listen.
Hear me out now...
What if... what if...
The White Scars and the Tau allied?

>Taufags actually believe they matter
>they actually believe they have a chance
>they aren't willing to admit they only survive due to blatant plot armor.

Sure.

>plot armour
that argument in a game whose background for all factions at all times is entirely 'plot' driven.

So...tau are space Batman? SWEET! Hear that guys? This guy says tau are space Batman! Who else wants to start tau now??!

is this monolith related to the ymgarl moons and its genestealers?

How do you divide the galaxy in half?

At this point the Tau are more HFY than the imperium most of the time

By pretending it's flat. Just like most fiction.

I guess by making the warp extend so far in all axis that it becomes functionally cut off. It doesnt span forever, but far enough that its just wayyyy to hard to go around it.

Reminder that Necrons have done planet killing tactics ranging from Dropping the moon on the planet to pulling all the magma out of the core and creating a sea of fire.

Tau have literally nothing to defend against or to survive that.

Eat shit blueberry. Your end is nigh.

Can I have a quick rundown on the Great Rift?

A huge tear in reality all the way across, where warp travel is impossible anywhere near it.

>all tyranid hive fleets eaten by warp
its a good day

chaos saves the day!

>Hive Fleets sucked into the warp
>Tyranids now come in Extra Mutated flavors
>Tzaanthropes, Nurglevores, Slaaveners, Khornfexes
>this was decided because 'they both have cults, right?'

>T'au Empire not Tau Empire

What did GW mean by this?

>Stealth Suits
>Railguns
>Gravtanks
As a tech fetishist, this is my ideal faction.

Probably more that they're reassessing threats from a general stance on all 'Xenos' to a more tempered stance that allows them co-operation with Craftworld Eldar and Tau whilst vehemently opposing Tyrannids and Orks as much as ever.

Name change. Recent novels just use T'au now.

>Slaaveners
Now we have real tentacle porn monsters.

Please watch your spelling sir. It's correctly spelled, "T'au™"

>warp rifts near every major IG world except Krieg

those chaos boys know not to fuck with the Death Korps

...so if Cadia went kablooey, does that mean they're going to make a new guard kit now with even less bodies! in the near future?
