The content is more a symptom (if that) than the actual problem.

Not him, but I don't have a problem with it if everyone acknowledges it and is fine with it. If I say, for example, "I'm gonna play a musclegirl because it gets me hard" and everyone says "cool" or even better "great, that gets me hard too", then everything is fine.

That's not what I think the issue is. The issues arise when I derail the game into exploring my own personal sexual fantasies (I rape that person/I buy a genderswap belt/I'm playing as a foxgirl/etc.). It can make other players uncomfortable, and it disrupts the game. It's all about what other people want.

And so the same applies to posting on Veeky Forums. It's absolutely a problem when people derail a thread into swapping SFW fetish art, or derailing it with anything else for that matter. If the thread starts out being about that fetish it's not derailing, but then it's not Veeky Forums related. I don't have any problem with threads like "how does your DM handle [fetish scenario]", even though I'll probably hide those threads, because they're on topic. But I have no patience for derailing Veeky Forums threads into fetish crap, or thinly-veiled "hey post inflation art please" threads. Just go to /d/.
