Any of you drawfags up for commissions, if so could you drop a link detailing your price and style if you have that or if not post a example of your art and what kind of payment you would want for a two person picture.

If 25-50$ is the most you will pay for a -finished- piece then you honestly deserve every bad thing that happens to you. It's incredibly insulting that an artist has to spend so much time on your request, make it look great, appeal to your every fucking autistic tick imaginable, re-do it over and over until you are finally satistifed like the manchild you are, and then get paid literal pennies. I had multiple menial jobs that paid more than this cheap attitude of yours. If I dedicate years to getting better and days-weeks to your shit, then I certainly deserve better recognition/compensation than this.

This is the reason artists go to porn. People pay more for worse quality and shittier content as well because of people like you. Thanks but keep your shitty pocket money.

25-50$ is a fairly standard price in both dA and FA for an average pic, no offense.

But yes, porn sells more at a faster rate than quality art, which is why you find artists making furry porn just because on average they make ~400$ a week without being furries themselves. Also because furries generally have the lowest standards possible.

Not that user but do you really think that in the best case scenario of 8 hours spent on the artwork and 50$ being paid, 6.25$ per hour is good? Not even minimum wage.

I spent years getting art somewhat right, and I care a lot about making good characters with good design, with stories to tell each, a personality, all that. To, again, see their stuck between Renamon scat and fat fetish porn in the eyes of the world.

And when I complain, people tell me I'm jealous (lol?! I envy pen-prostitutes now?) or that I'm arrogant. The joke.

You don't need to claim to be the perfect god of art just to demand sincere appreciation of your humble work. I'm the first one to say I draw like shit.

Then people wonder why I'm so fucking mad all the time.

You know on a whole, art just doesn't pay much. In the industry, you're super-exploited. Outside, people consider they wouldn't pay this much for "just a picture". Art is hand-made, as opposed to games of the same price, which are mass-produced once they're programmed.

Technically I understand that and I try to meet people halfway, and say, okay, I get to be paid and do art at the same time.

But that's why I'm very focused on getting demands that actually interest me.

She used to be a tankish dwarf paladin that would take frontline position to draw aggro and keep damage off the other party members. Unfortunately, one day she drew aggro against a bunch of npc rogues and got torn to pieces by sneak attacks. The druid had a scroll of Reincarnate on him and used it, and I rolled 26 on the d%.

I mean, on one hand, it turned her into an evil-smiting immovable wall. On the other, she can't go back to her clan until she finds a way to revert back into a dwarf.

Looking for some art of a pair of antagonist NPCs for my heist-based campaign.

I'm looking for the two of them to be in the pose of the top left of the image, but I'd like the dude replaced with the grizzled orc private eye in the top right, glowing eyes included. Keep the coat in the original image and lose the hat from the orc pic though. No cigar or cigarette. Hair should be fairly short but styled. Replace the glowy pistol with a hand crossbow. On his left jacket breast should be some sort of gold badge indicating his rank of chief of police. His expression should be similar to the current one.

For the elf, I'd like her to have red hair in an updo like the bottom-right pic. Ears stay the same, maybe a more dark green pair of eyes. She's got a flat cap sitting on her head, a more bored expression on her face, and should have the magic be purple instead of turquoise or whatever it is in the pic.

I'd like a remarkably well-groomed red fox chevalier, please. He's a type of minor faerie visiting in human lands and plays the gallivanting knight for the nobles, especially the ladies, to appease them of his good will while he enjoys his stay.
I haven't decided exactly what he should look like, but he would be confident and attention-grabbing, shiny armour and ruffles and fancy duelling swords rather than practical, mundane gear. Preferably showing off his lustrous, boofy fur at any chance. If you'd like to give him a daring facial scar, or a flowing cape, or anything like that, I'm open to most interpretations of the idea.

Yeah that logic works with decent clients, but it's still very hard to keep it up when the client is some entitled fuck who thinks he owns you.

You're lucky to be able to choose. I don't think most of them realize this is not some hobby of mine, I pay my bills with this shit and they should be thankful I don't charge by the hour.

I honestly have issues with that. Somehow most of those who do this are porn artists or their art isn't that original. I don't do it because I hate feeling like I'm paid the same price for a rushed job, also I'm slow.

I get you user, but see it from people who don't have a talent for anything's perspective:

They see you pump out a great pic in hours because you've got talent/skill/training, and think that you're some drawing-making machine that doesn't need to eat or live. And because they see it's easy for you to put to paper what they want, they think anything they give you is 'enough' to cover for your time, ignoring that you likely had to put down years of grinding and practice, possibly taking classes and courses to get to where you are. They don't know or understand that. What they understand is that you can draw pretty good, therefore, it must be easy for you.

It's the same with graphical designers. People think that because you can make an original birthday card done in 6 hours from seemingly nothing, they can get away with paying you close to nothing. People not in the know how will always come off as ingrates.

Requesting a wholly evil elf- orc hybrid vampire queen (the first vampire), being dutifully followed by a blind regretful merfolk with blue skin, legs (closer to aquatic elves than traditional merfolk), and runes on his skin. He is also a vampire.

I'd like to request a small bunch of adventurers to commemorate my fiancee getting involved in DnD for the first time. I know requests with multiply characters are often unpopular, but I'm just putting it out there.

We have an 8ft tall goliath (bottom left). Gray skin, shoulder length blond hair (straight), and silver eyes. He wields a pike, or a halberd, and wears chain mail. As a point, just for added character, he acts like an over the top representation of a paladin, for example; when the DM said "you all get a nights rest at the inn" the other characters could hear Sir Lance Silverthorn from his own room speaking to himself saying "Ah, a knights rest, the most honourable of rests. Bravely shall I lay here."

Sir Silverthorn had a squire by the name of Gaston, who I imagined to look like the disney character (top right), but as a 14 year old half elf, who isn't quite as buff yet. Also less of a douche than disneys Gaston.

Then we had Jako, a catfolk sorceror. He looked a bit more like a cheetah than a house cat though. He had cheetah spots, sky blue eyes (with clouds in them, even), and short, well looked after golden blond hair. Jako was the voice of reason in the group, and specialised in storm magic.

We then have the rogue, Mao, another catfolk. She looked like a cheetah also. She has golden eyes (top left), and big ears (a little like khajit ears, if you play skyrim). Mao was a street urchin, and had a pet mouse called Cheese, as well as having a rapier. She was played a little skittish, with a short attention span, and lots of energy.

Both catfolk have small cheetah skulls, slim bodies, and slightly bigger paws (bottom right).

Bonus points if they're climbing a mountain. Sir Lance Silverthorn is climbing ahead, laughing, Gaston not far below, sighing in resignation. The two catfolk had stopped at a ledge, but look up in surprise as the other two continuing to climb, Jako probably shaking his head whilst Mao looks more curious.

Requesting a sleeker, stealthier loadout for my drow thief. I included a couple of styles of carrier vest that resembles what I'm looking for, though it would have a home-made appearance.

Underneath his carrier vest are dark clothes, with tight sleeves down to just below the elbow, with simple gloves. The vest is loaded with pouches for tools such as lockpick sets, smoke bombs, rope, and similar breaking and entering/thieving equipment, as well as a loop on the side to drop his handaxe into.

The majority of the details are up to you but they have light colored hair and eyes, one is clean shaven with short hair and the other looks like some sort of battle worn homeless man; long unruly hair and beard with visible scars and broken nose.

For the tabard design: St. George slaying the wyvern, the herald of Moscow. Predominant colours: red, white, black.

Requesting a BBEG for a virtual reality dark fantasy campaign. The whole premise of the campaign is an evil company has trapped a bunch of participants in a twisted world where shadowy monsters roam and moderators keep the participants under close watch in secret. As an ex-moderator for this world, he was ousted out of the position for failing to kill his own wife (whom was killed anyway) and started a rebellion against the other moderators in favor of anarchy. Still having some coding ability, he ended up transforming himself into a monstrosity in exchange for his humanity. He has the body of the top left image, the pattern on his body should be reminiscent of a missing texture error. He has the size of Pontiff Sulyvahn with the clothes of the center bottom picture. It should be more tattered, revealing some of this texture-missing body. He wields two swordstaffs of light and dark like the ref pic, both having glitch particles emitting from them. She was once a navigator, a smooth talker, and very beautiful. She uses a rapier, has long dark violet hair, similar to the image at the bottom right. She dresses very stylishly similarly to the image on the far left, but she does not like to show her skin so she is covered very well. Thanks to her pact she has been given fiendish glowing eyes similar to the image at the lower center. Try and make her as hot as possible.

Also due to her pact she has been given a fiendish owl familiar, it's creepy and it disturbs her to no end. The best I could find is the owl image here, but honestly, I'd like anything spooky and uncomfortable, have fun with it.

Re-migrating my skald, Zarcath Bloodeye for a pathfinder game. He has the cossack head and the main outfit in blue. He has a mastercraft breastplate on instead of the shirt, and the boots instead of the weird shin guard looking shit.

Instead of the staff I'd like the axe the girl has. He has a tendency to slam it into the ground and lean a foot on it if you feel like putting him in a pose.

Requesting my character for a game I'll be playing next week. He's based on a japanese Ronin/Oni 6'4, tan skin. His pupils are black and shaped like a goats pupil but his eye colour is bright yellow. He has a ponytail that goes pass his shoulder blades and a cloth around his waist with greek looking sandals.

I'm playing a horror campaign, so may I request my character here in a pose that's scary or frightening. I'd suggest, but you're free to do whatever, something that includes the mouth being open (normal dragonborn teeth but including snake fangs) and/or has her sail erect. Other than that, feel free to do it however you please.
